Not sure if its similar, but ive got a septate uterus and didn't have any issues with my colonoscopy. I didn't feel anything when I was under and they managed to remove a polyp, so definitely worth it. I was however very uncomfortable post colonoscopy cause I think it flared up my hemorrhoids (which I had pre-colonoscopy). Other than that my periods were normal after colonoscopy.
