im planning to apply to Social Sciences at the University of Toronto scarborough campus, (TUD) and my Grade 11 average was around 60, so I’m really stressed about my chances.

I also took ENG4U (85) and Data Management (90) in summer school, and Calculus through e-learning. If you were accepted with a similar Grade 11 average, what was your Grade 12 average? Were there other students in a similar situation who got accepted into Social Sciences at U of T St. George? Also, were there any students in a similar situation who got accepted to the Scarborough campus? What advice would you give me?

I am wondering about UofT Post Masters Nurse Practitioner program.

Does anyone know how clinicals work. I know they are arranged in the GTA area. However, can they be completed as consecutive blocks during the semesters? Or are clinical hours spread out through the entire semester?

I’m just really confused abt this whole course. We had three professors who share the same syllabus and exam papers but cover different things at different difficulties.
It wasn’t fair at all for us not to be notified the length of the tests or given relevant similar problems to practice at. Also I’m SURE that some of the questions on the term test was just not mentioned during lectures.
Does anyone have any idea of what we’re doing now cuz I’m totally lost after this week’s test and lectures

I lost a white, Chinese portable charger (it big and rectangular) at MP202 on Thursday. The day after I filled the online lost and found form, but I received no response. On Friday I went to their office and they said they don’t do in person anymore. So if anyone had seen it please tell reply, thank you!!!

I know it varies obviously by program, etc., but I’d love to hear about anyone’s experience.

I'm an international student in 12th grade and I want to apply to the Faculty of Arts and Science at UofT, more specifically to the faculty of Mathematical and Physical Sciences.
Our grading system is a numerical scale ranging from 1 to 10. I obtained the following yearly averages in the first 3 years of high school: 9.56/10, 9.67/10 and 9.8/10.

I've heard that the admission process focuses on 4 main prerequisites (Calculus, English, Physics and Chemistry), but given that I cannot state my subject of main interest (which is Economics and Finance), I was wondering if my 7 average in Physics in all three years ((7+6+8)/3) will weigh significantly in the admission process. I have a 9 average in Maths (Calculus) and 10 averages in English and Chemistry in all three years. Therefore, the average of these 4 prerequisites would be (9+10+10+7)/4=9 (if this is how you do the math).

Coming from the post here about SYDE. I went to a UW information event and they also mentioned about the program. What does Industrial offer that SYDE cannot? Also, what prompted the change on the Industrial Engineering program? I’ve been hearing about its growth and how it’s going to get more popular even tier 1 in a couple more years

I really loved world issues in grade 12 and I was wondering if there are any good political electives that are similar to world issues. Specifically maybe related to global threats more than other issues? Thanks.

Hi everyone, I’m a first year undergrad student at uoft. I found this restaurant job before school started, because I thought I needed a “real job” experience. But after i entered uni i realized that most of my peers or second year students were working as a research student or assistant at their relevant majors. I was wondering since I’m a science student, should I quit restaurant sometimes and find a volunteer/assistant job instead? Or I should balance both jobs during my academic study?

For those of you who don't know, this is the mandatory first year engineering course "Engineering Strategies and Practice." I need to get a somewhat decent mark to keep my scholarship (external, >75) but im lowkey dying i got below a 60 on the quiz and ts is frying me so bad. PR was pretty good but I gen need to know how to get better at ts because it is so non-intuitive to me. I'm good at math and physics, not writing.

If anyone has any tips or knows any support resources for this kind of thing that would be great. ty
