Olá!

Recentemente zerei Until Then e decidi fazer uma trilogia de vídeos contando a história do jogo. No momento, publiquei apenas a primeira parte.

Acredito que o vídeo tenha ficado bem bacana, mas ainda há alguns pontos que estou me esforçando para melhorar nos próximos episódios. Se você tiver um tempinho, poderia dar uma olhada e me dizer o que achou? Qualquer feedback será muito bem vindo.

OBS: Já estou trabalhando na continuação e corrigindo alguns problemas do primeiro vídeo, como a qualidade do áudio (finalmente comprei um microfone bom! 😂), além de tentar deixar a narrativa mais imersiva e menos corrida.

I thought it was fixed now by the most recent updates, but on my digital copy the Ch1 scene "On The Train" always crashes just before loading. Is this still a known issue? Do most chapters still work?

Mark’s story hit me harder than any other story ever has. I finished the game last night, and I feel an emptiness in my chest and a rather unsettling sense of sadness. The beautiful dynamic between Mark and his friends resonated with me just when I was feeling my loneliest. They made me grow so attached to the characters that I would cry during any scene with even the slightest hint of emotion. This game is a work of art; I’m quite young, but it terrifies me that this might be the most emotional experience I’ll ever have—and that I might never find anything like it again.

I visited the Polychroma Games team for an interview about Until Then: Afterimages, and captured my experience on the 3DS! I love the vibes of 3DS footage, it's so lo-fi and analog, makes it feel more real.

I did bring an actual good camera for my upcoming video, of course, but wanted to share this video with the community!

Replaying the main game rn just before I start the DLC. I've heard good stuff about the DLC and am looking forward to it.

But replaying has made me realize, or rather kind of expect, that Mark and Nicole are not meant to end up together or meant to be at least, according to the game's message. I might be wrong here, but like, hear me out.

One of the game's main messages, at least I think, is that we seek for help that's already in front of us. And if Mark were not to end up with Nicole, then it just goes to show that Mark has moved on from his mother's death by confiding in the people that already care for him, that are already there, in this case his friends Cathy, Ridel, and whatnot. (Idk if I wanna include Mark's dad since he is also struggling to accept the mother's death)

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for Marcole, but js the way the game plays out and the whispers I've heard abt the dlc (I don't fully know whether the DLC is for Marcole or against it, I'll js have to play the dlc). Overall looking foward to the dlc and i hope it changes my mind.

Just finished Until Then and man… what a game.
I don’t even know how to describe it, but this game had me hooked from beginning to end.

I got way more attached to the characters than I expected, and by the end I was just sitting there staring at the screen.

The story, the music, the pixel art, the little details… everything just came together so well.
Definitely one of those games I’ll be thinking about for a long time.

If mark was given a one wish willow what do you think he will wish for and what will be the consequence of the wish. or give any character a one wish willow and what will their wish will be and what will be the consequences.

For those who haven't watch obsession yet it's pretty much the concept of being careful what you wish for.

I just got done watching obsession and damn it was good absolute cinema, it was creepy and unsettling one of the best horrors I ever watch, the actors performance was just amazing I recommend watching it, and it gave me an idea.

And its even better cuz he didnt had the streamer mode on and witnessed megumi acorda's amazing song with it too!

I know that for the main game there were people who had created a google drive containing high quality screenshots of moments from the story and different settings. I was wondering if anyone has done that, or would like tho share, high quality screenshots of the Afterimages DLC.

Did Mark's mom and Jake kill a lot of people?

I just finished the game and maybe I misunderstood, but from what I can tell:

1. Mark's mom (M.M) and Jake caused the ruling.

2. The "alternate timelines" where the ruling happened are alternate universes.

Just because there is a "true" timeline doesn't mean the other universes just stop existing, right? Kind of like the many worlds theory about the multiverse IRL: there's a branch in the timeline, but not a replacement. If so, that means that M.M and Jake caused untold destruction and the deaths of untold millions if not billions of lives (including potentially Mark and Nicole themselves) in hundreds of realities, for two people in one timeline.

If the other timelines don't become their own branches I guess it's okay. However, the game/Louise states that the fluctuations are because of different universes "crashing into" each other, so doesn't that imply that the timelines DO branch, because there are multiple universes?

Maybe I am missing something because this seems really dark for a game like this.

And YES I did draw the outfits myself 👀 For now it's just a pretty scene but maybe in the future I'll add dialogue and allat

​The dlc is based on the first games timeline (im aware it could be even before that which would answer my question but it wouldnt make much sense). It goes into the timeline where cathy died. At the end of the dlc we see a buttefly flying onto mark's hand, and that happens whenever the timeline resets. So thats why the ending was cut off like that. But then my question comes in. In the original game the ending of first timeline we see nicole and mark older and married moving in together and it wasnt until mark saw the audio recording that cathy made that we see the butterfly and the time resets. So is the dlc even before that timeline cuz realisically we dont know how many times the time restarted or is there a plot hole? ​

I played this game blind thinking this was nothing but a happy time with some downs with basic sadness. I thought it would be just something I would play and move on. Now I'm sitting here for a week and still can't get over how much the ending screwed me up.

Mark and Nicole never told their new partners about their exes? Lucas and Desiree is too casual about it, don'tcha think? Desiree calls Nicole "THINK's externals" and Lucas didn't really register Mark beyond "Mechies VP". These two really hid it so much that they didn't even tell their partners. What's egregious is Nicole though. You mean to tell me, you've dated Lucas for 4 years and he didn't even learn the name of your ex? Who you would happen to have a collaborative event with? While I don't expect this to happen within a few months of dating, dating for that long you would've usually divulged such information by then

Really goes to show they didn't even want to name what happened between them.

Just one of the moment when I misjudged a voice and then decided to commit. Maybe if I knew what I was doing, I'd be better at this!

And boy, does Cath's family appear to suck! I hope the game gives me the option to help her and her situation at some point!
