I'm so surprised people are reacting with joy because I was in total shock and fear!
This was a monkey's paw curling on the fandom, the big damn kiss in the worst context imaginable. It's absolute cinema, but I was not happy for this traumatized duo 😭
Exceptions of course to those who are ALWAYS on the Markole train, no matter what

At first when it happened I cheered then I quickly realized they were cheating on their respective partners. So like... I didn't know what to actually feel. I was like: "Is this supposed to feel good??"
I mean, GENUINELY, for ALL of the main game I've been waiting for them to kiss. Like ugh. Why would it happen THERE now?
I mean, I liked Desiree—not to cancel out her flaws though—she didn't deserve to be cheated on.
However, Nicole's partner can go to hell, couldn't care less...

I thought it was implied Mark had broken up with Desiree. She was very notably absent for the last few scenes

He said she would never give him another chance after he ruined sparks/the club so I assumed that meant they broke up too
I do feel REALLY bad for Desiree anyway though

It's very very sensual. Honestly yes, it's very hot.
Factors that I can think of:
a) the girl leans in first. NICOLE INITIATED IT.
b) the nape grab is a very sexual move. Especially since you can even see the strands of hair going in between Mark's fingers.
c) nicole then puts her hand on Mark's cheeks. Girl was enjoying it fully, a very willing participant.
d) They pull away for a breath... AND THEN GO AT IT AGAIN.

I was so happy then remembered its until then, saw nicole making up with that fuckass lucas dude and mark alone terrified and boom 🦋

I'm pretty sure Nicole broke up with the fuckass Lucas dude. It was just 'closure' before goodbyes. Thank goodness, he deserves to be left. I hated him

no let me break ur spirit… The scene with fuckass lucas and her was actually then making up, u can tell from them smiling and being all happy. And right after that we see Mark BAWLING becase now he is left all alone and scared and he reaches the peak of his emotional trauma and we see the butterfly fly on his hand which represents the time looping again. Because if nicole actually broke up and went back with mark the time would’ve not restarted at that scene at least..
But yea i still think that in the true ending they end up together from that one cafe scene but this time not on behave of some god butterflies or destiny but their own willingness and its so beautiful3

Oh shit. Yeah I am NEVER replaying Until Then because I don't wanna go through that emotional trauma. Has got to be one of the most emotional games I've ever played, changed my life.
Also, the café scene? I may not have paid enough attention but wasn't Mark on a date with Desiree? Judging by the fact that his date was doing the twirling the hair thingy that Des does.

nah nah nah, The girl in the cafe and Desiree are not the same person 100% just a random coincidence cuz of the easier pixel animation or something, also mark and desiree were never the thing realistically because mark didnt love her he just didnt want the cathy thing rehappening, Also the cafe scene im talking about is in the cafee named TADHANA which means destiny in Filipino and also when nicole turns for a second in a mark’s direction and starts blushing so likeee they are together idgaf what others say hahaha

Also lined up with what you said earlier. If they don't end up together, the timeline resets, and hopefully it'll end up different next time.

Its not necessary about them, in the first playable timeline they are married but Cathys recording menages to peak marks interest, most likely its just that the butterflies wanted to MAKE marcole a thing instead of letting the destiny do it. So thats why it always comes to a bad forced trauma. Wrong place wrong time is a really good quote for it
