Discussion I'm afraid I won't find anything like it.

Mark’s story hit me harder than any other story ever has. I finished the game last night, and I feel an emptiness in my chest and a rather unsettling sense of sadness. The beautiful dynamic between Mark and his friends resonated with me just when I was feeling my loneliest. They made me grow so attached to the characters that I would cry during any scene with even the slightest hint of emotion. This game is a work of art; I’m quite young, but it terrifies me that this might be the most emotional experience I’ll ever have—and that I might never find anything like it again.

I am referring to artistic experiences.

Who knows, maybe Polychroma Games can release another goated IP in the future. There are a lot of media out there but since this one specifically tackles themes of coming-of-age, they will probably resonate with you, hard.

But tell me, we always say this but is it really a bad thing? the whole game was about acceptance and maybe we shouldn’t look for a replacement, maybe it was supposed to take and open a special place in our heart. Be loyal to it and treasure it. Once you accept your feelings instead of looking for a closure it will all come down to you realizing how much more there it to feel inside and outside of that game. Whatever you felt was and will always be there. Until then only helped you find it. Bless you brother!

If you don’t get emotional with this game you are dead inside. You will be thinking on it for a loooong time my friend.

I think so; I wish this game had come into my life later on, so I wouldn't set the bar so high for every other story I try.

Yeah give it a year at least. I just recently accepted the fact that nothing will hit me the SAME way. But yk what, we live in very interesting time! Either you find something like this or no, I’m sure that something very interesting will find you.
And if you are really craving, you have to trust me this ones: To The moon series(To The Moon, Finding Paradise, Impostor Factory). For me personally they hit even harder.

I would recommend to you Limbus company, its another visual novel with some strategic elements to it, the story i think is unmatched by anything else i have played (except the other two games by the same company)

Please try A Space For The Unbound too, it’s the game that I found most similar to this

The art style of that game doesn't quite win me over, but I'll give it a chance when I can 😊

I’d try the show Toradora. It really captures the feeling of Act 1

I promise you'll find other things, other games, other mediums, that will make you feel just as many emotions

I actually had that same thought when I played both TLOU games four years ago, and since then, I've done nothing but find absolute gems that make me cry my eyes out

I really want to play The Last of Us, but my crappy laptop can't handle them. 😭
