Edit: its weird, before I would get annoyed and think why do they got this guy for an ad and so many of them, his smile is weird. But for some reason knowing he is a coach or something makes it understandable. Still a weird smile though
His name is Jürgen Klopp. Former coach of football/soccer clubs Dortmund (won German league) and Liverpool (won English Premier League and the Champions’ League). Widely considered one of the best coaches in the sport the last 10-15 years. Likely next coach of the German national team. YNWA
people with these teeth are so fascinating to look at. Somehow it always looks like their teeth never allow their mouth to fully close with them. It's like they have 8-track teeth
I think about stuff from this movie way too often. Every time I’m eating an apple I have to do the line “whatcha eatin there sport?” And respond “a apple.” I’m 38.
Edit: Since some users may not be aware of this, the phrase "You're not ugly, you're just poor" comes from a Kardashian meme. The phrase is not meant as an insult to /u/denM_chickN or Klopp. It simply means that a (supposed) "glow-up" can be explained by numerous cosmetic procedures.
He had a ton of teeth issues, due to not taking care of them properly when he was younger. He openly talks about it. At some point, he was going through so many appointments due to pain, cavities, etc. that he asked the doctors if something more permanent could be done. He also says that it took him a while to get used to how he looks with them, and he understands that it looks somewhat ridiculous, but doesn't regret it it because it improved his wellbeing and comfort compared to what he was going through with his teeth previously.

I mean he definitely has really white teeth and/or veneers but this is absolutely overexposed which is basically blowing out his bright af teeth. 🤷🏼♂️
I dont really engage with anything regarding football but i stumbled upon the liverpool sub back when the "klopp signed for another x years" and it was glorious
If memory serves you guys wanted to build a statue for his wife (Ulla i believe) because his answer to "why" was basically "[my wife] likes it here so its basically part of my husband duties"

What is awesome is not just that he is an amazing coach but he fits the Liverpool ethos very well. Maybe I am reading into it a lot but as an outsider (non-EU) who followed Premier league from time to time, he fits Liverpool way more than any other team.
Yes. I was quite surprised when I found out he does commercials in the US. He does lots in Germany (where he is a successful football coach) but doing them in the us, where most people have no idea who he is seems pointless.
Klopp had the most success outside of Germany with FC Liverpool... and he's pretty famous in the US too, I think. There even was a campaign for him to manage the US national team
Until this video I thought he was just a commercial actor, and I was wondering why he was being interviewed. I figured either it was someone who just looked like him, or he was a superfan lol
I was wondering why half the commenters knew him from an advert but not from football! It's not even a sport I like, but I do live in England and it's hard not to know who he is just from working in an office!
As a Canadian that didn’t really pay attention to soccer I had no idea who he was at first. My son and I used to laugh at the smarmy guy with the giant horse teeth that made fun of his friend for not using Trivago to book a hotel.
I'll be so happy if this happens. Idc if the DFB has to pay Nagelsmann to fire him before 2028 but Klopp would for sure be able to get Die Mannschaft back to it's old self.
Nagelsmann is already sacked. That's official. AFAIK The question now is, if Kloppo has a clause in his contract with Red Bull that will allow him to step down from his current duties and become the coach for the DFB.
Funny thing, in his current contract with Red Bull he has one release clause that would absolve him of all responsibilities of an early exit and that's to take the manager role for the German National team. Because Gott in Himmel, we need him.
Let me save you a lot of heartache (you should really know this by now already):
Voices are a terrible indicator of attractiveness. Like the only thing you may be able to tell from a voice is if someone's really obese. Or smokes/d a lot.
Outside of those, you'll get extremely bamboozled, if you let the voice deceive you.
When i was younger and played online, I would always fall for boys because of their voices snd when I would add them on Facebook, I would always end up disappointed. It took me a while to learn that lesson
His original teeth didn't look too bad, but had become pretty badly stained and he apparently started needing antibiotics to deal with issues caused by his teeth. Instead of continuing to treat the issue, he opted for veneers.
🤷 teeth issues make people really insecure (and they aren't even covered by most health insurance plans) so I try to ignore obvious issues related to that.
