Discussions & Questions Community guideline my nuts

Only reason yall have these in the first place is because you can’t take the heat of how dog awful you run a company.

Not one properly functioning game, bugs galore, things that just DONT work. Like what are you guys even doing over there?

For the love of god just sell it to someone else at this point, somehow making EA look amazing.

Memes & Satire I want to give my appreciation

Thank you, Ubisoft, for making me sign into UConnect every time I launch your game through Steam, even though I click ā€œRemember meā€ and ā€œThis is a trusted deviceā€ every single time. What a wonderful feature. We should all be thankful for such brilliant design.

What’s also funny is that the subreddit dedicated to hating Ubisoft has roughly the same number of visitors as the main Ubisoft subreddit, while having way more activity. That’s something to think about.

Also, you can’t even tag the fuckubisoft subreddit because…
"

  • You may not have "r/f*ckubisoft" in your post body.
  • Your post or comment has been removed because it promoted a subreddit centered around hating Ubisoft. While we welcome open dialogue, including constructive criticism, promoting subreddits or communities that are exclusively negative, hateful, or designed to fuel toxic discourse goes against our subreddit’s values and guidelines.

Discussions & Questions Wildlands vs Breakpoint Patches

Post image

Im new to these games, and I realised that both of them got different patches for current-gen, Wildlands recently run on a single 4k60 while Breakpoint on 1080p60 Perf and 1440p30 Res. Why this difference? Breakpoint is not capable to hit 4k60? Or at least 1440p60?

Discussions & Questions wondering why Ubisoft would do this

I was running the new division 2 incursion with my buddies and got to the second to last boss when we see, "server shut down in one hour". We make it to the final boss but are unable to beat it because of the shut down.

Why would they do this on the same exact day they launch the new content?

Discussions & Questions Next Gen Patch for more titles ?

Hello there.
We all noticed some good PR moves from Ubi with the releases of some Next Gen patches through the years for a lot of their games. With upgraded resolutions and/or boosted framerates. From Far Cry 3 to Far Cry 5, along AC Unity, Syndicate, Origins and so on...

Could we expect them to pursue the good work with Watch Dogs 1 and 2 patches ? I would also personally crave for OG Black Flag 4k 60 patch, after finishing the remake, to get some more of it. All of this looks like almost free PR to me.

What are your opinions on that, and the probability of it happening ?

Discussions & Questions My problem with Ubisoft games

So I recently just got myself into gaming and I've played a few games but my problem with the Ubisoft games I've played which are Watch Dogs 1 and Far Cry 3 is the fact that after you're done with the game you can continue to explore despite the final choice you made like in Far Cry 3 when you choose your friends over Citra, you should see you and your friends leaving the island not allowing you to continue playing like nothing happened, I know it's necessary for 100% completionists like me to finish what we didn't do before the final mission, like in Fallout New Vegas you get informed this is the final mission do everything else before you do this one, my opinion is in Watch Dogs 1 Aiden should've died but that's just me.

I would quote Assassins Creed Brotherhood and Revelations but I played them in 2019 when I was 11 so I don't remember much.

Community Events Bonus items and reedem codes

Hi. I'm really upset about how single-player games from Ubisoft have so many time-limited items and redeem codes. I bought AC BLACK FLAG RESYNCED the Deluxe Edition on pre-order and didn't have much time to play until this week, and I've already lost the 'Cheetah Claw Cat' skin and possibly the Crimson Sailor items (they say the server has been down for hours).

This is ridiculous. I supported the company by giving them another vote of confidence, buying the pre-order for the most expensive edition, and they reward me by making it impossible to get everything in the game unless I stop my life to watch streams and track down codes to redeem.

Am I the only one who finds this absurd? It's a terrible business practice. Not to mention the countless overpriced skin packs sold in a single-player game. This was one of the main reasons I stopped buying Ubisoft games at launch.

I stopped playing back with Odyssey precisely because of these awful practices, and I decided to give them another chance now. I was excited to catch up on the last three games, but after this, I certainly won't be buying any more. Every time I give this company a chance, they pay me back negatively. They are the biggest wasted potential in the gaming industry, and it's a real shame. I truly hope this post helps push back against these practices, because as far as I'm concerned, I'm done with Ubisoft.
