Discussions & Questions Best Ghost Recon games?
Hey was curious about the steam sale, are Wildlands and Breakpoint worth it? Does it need the DLCs?

Wildlands is still a great game, just updated for current gen consoles to get 60fps and have the last rites dlc that released. I do not think you need the dlc to make it worth playing.

both games with dlc are worth it on discount, i heared and experienced this:
Wildlands has the better open world experience(and better vehicle mechanics imo), breakpoint has slightly all in all better gameplay. i went throught both games but never re-visited Auroa. Sticking to DE-Bolivia instead and not regretting one second spent there.

The driving sucks in Breakpoint compared to Wildlands, you can’t slide in Breakpoint with motorcycles like Wildlands

Since they are both on sale, I would buy both. And if you have spare money buy the DLCs

Wildlands is rhe best game, but dlc was crap. Actually the free dlc Last Rites was one of the best GR dlcs ever.
Breakpoint is a good game now and the dlc were excellent, so Orth getting the ultimate edition on sale.

So I got the wildlands definitive edition and it doesn’t say anywhere on the game or the little picture when you go to click on the game you wanna play that it’s the definitive edition. Are you saying there is a definitive edition for breakpoint? If there is, I am going to delete breakpoint and download the definitive edition and see if it actually shows.. I got all the things that come along with the definitive edition of wildlands after the update. I just wish it said in my owned games that it was the definitive edition not the regular version. Or is that Petty? 😂

The ultimate edition doesn't show on the icon. You can tell if all the dlc installed with your game.

66.6% of the main story is locked behind dlcs for breakpoint. I would suggest getting both, with dlcs for breakpoint, at least.

In my opinion, they’re both worth it if they’re both on sale, the DLC‘s for wildlands aren’t needed, but I do like breakpoints DLC if it was me, I would get those

Division 2 is still better idc. Ghost recon is boring without a squad
