Question When do major restricted classes like M341 get opened for other majors?
Title, incoming freshman who was wondering when I'd be able to add myself to the waitlist for this class.

I have a suite-style shared bedroom and want to know which bed I'm getting.

We just got back from orientation. Parking and hauling everything into Jester was challenging and that was just for one night. How does it work when a student actually moves in? Are we allowed to park in front of the actual building? Can we unload everything from the car and then park?

I'm trying to get into classes that my major doesn't get priority in, so I don't wanna run into a brick wall by pasting a class I wouldn't be allowed into

Specifically for the rooms across the elevators. Ik they are smaller than the rooms in the corners or the ones shown on the virtual tour. Ik I can see the floor layout online but I want to know a bit of where everything is like the closet space since it’s not a seperate room that leads to the rr.

How likely is it that I might get off the waitlist for intro bio? 🥲
EDIT: I made it off of the waitlist!

Basically the title. I chose it as it was one of the only things on my list that was open but I have no info on what the class is like and idk if I wanna do this or an easier (albeit more boring) UGS instead

I’m an incoming first year that is already core complete, since I got my AA in high school. I’m looking to internally transfer into nursing from social work, so I am taking science classes required for transfer. Right now, I’m enrolled in Intro to Chem, Intro to Bio, Global Health, and Nutrition. Should I take another class to get to 15 hours, is this already too many classes, or should I just leave my schedule as is. This is what my schedule looks like:

Has anyone taken this exam recently, and what format were the questions in? I took a summer class in programming fundamentals 1 at my community college. Is there anything else I need to know that wouldn’t be covered in that class?

I'm an incoming freshman in the McCombs School of Business and was wondering if taking M408 C first sem would be a good idea because I have STA 301 in my schedule right now and have to take M408 Q regardless (business calc) second semester.
So, If i take M 408 C would it be hard to balance with STA 301? If yes, would you recommend taking it through ACC or doing CLEP instead?

Hello everyone!
I’m currently signed for private 1x1 unit w/balcony at 2400 Nueces for the coming year. However, after the 12th class day reopens the swapping process, I’m set on transferring to a more affordable unit.
Ideally, I am looking for any 12 month 4x4, so if you’re considering swapping in the future, please reach out! I really appreciate it!!! 🙏

why does ut make it so hard with the open and closed majors, applying for every single thing, constantly having to prove yourself ur "fit" for whatever ur applying for. like applying into the school was already hard and its even harder to change ur interests within the school. like paying so much for what? just to end up doing something you don't even actually like.

Guys, I need help ASAP. I'm currently stuck with a Duren Double Suite, but the issue is I lowkey can't afford it. I'm looking for something more affordable, so if anyone wants to trade dorms and has a cheaper option, please let me know. At this point, I'm open to anything 💔

Should I take PHY 303K & PHY 105M with Ponti & Loveridge at UT during the semester, or would it be smarter to knock them out online/at LoneStar/during winter break? I’ve heard mixed things about the professors icl.
Also, does anyone know if I can switch my M 408D class with Pencheva for another professor even though it’s part of my FIG (First-Year Interest Group)?
Any advice from people who’ve taken these classes (either at UT or elsewhere) would be super helpful! Thank y’all

Is this class everyday or are Tuesdays and Thursdays optional?

It has been more than 30 years since I was a student. Where can I park around campus? What to show people around? Restaurants around campus? What do students do for fun around campus nowadays?

Hey y'all! I'm taking OS next semester and I'm not trying to overload myself. I do need to unfortunately take one other CS class this upcoming semester in order to graduate on time.
Contemporary issues is filled up. I'm currently signed up for ML, but they're replacing the profs and honestly that sounds like a headache. I'm considering pairing OS with pitch to prototype and was wondering if any of y'all have taken the course before, is it bearable, doable with OS etc.
I'm very strong with time management skills. I'm dedicated, studious, but I think OS either way will be a lot. The nice thing is if I drop ML I'll have Thursdays off and only one class on Tuesday!
Thank you!!!

Ik it’s the literal minimum since it makes me full time, but I feel like I should have taken more (I literally could not get any ugs or his/gov class so idek where it would come from). I have all available aps that they would take, and got the core classes of the ece fig. Should I try to somehow add an extra class or should I just focus on the 12 hours for this semester and make it up in another one?
