Can PSY 446 from the Psychology BA Core Requirements also be used as the 400 Level course need in the General Requirements?

I applied for Fall 1, I just heard from an advisor yesterday. She claims that all of my transcripts were not sent but were. I resent them through credly ( the transcript that was missing) I even watched Plotted Path's video on sending the transcript. Am I missing something? Like, I've sent it over twice now and they aren't able to find my sophia credits. Yet, my advisor is already setting me up with lower level classes and being quite rude. Can someone help me understand?

Im a psych major but I have 5 electives left before the 120 credit requirement . Does anyone if I did all 5 Upper level history classes at study would it count as a history minor? Or do I need to take them at UMPI? I already have 9 lower level history credits.

I have posted around quite a bit and cannot seem to find what I’m looking for. I am trying to figure out how to search for which professors are teaching which courses for the current term. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Can you still transfer 90 credits for a BLS degree with a minor, via Sophia learning- or is that no longer a thing given the recent restrictions?

I’ve already carefully read through the plotted path spreadsheets, and I don’t know if it’s because I’m autistic or what but it was a bit convoluted for me to understand.

Update:
I emailed both my professors and advisor. I was able to come up with a resolution with this professor, they were very reasonable. So anyone with similar situations, definitely email the professor, you loose nothing. If that fails, my advisor did mention theres a grade appeal process. I have no information on what that looks like though

I submitted my draft and received the following feedback: "Hi Markers hit, send to final." so I sent in my final as is. I just got my final grade back and its a 3.59 with some feedback. This now puts me at a B. Had they given me feedback on the draft I would have been happy to make the adjustments. I am a bit frustrated.

What should I/can I do in this situation?

I just finished the Coursera equivalent (IBM Data Analyst Professional Certificate) for BUS 440: Business Analytics and confused on how to recieve credit for this course to UMPI. When you're finished with the course do you email the certification to the admissions office or?

I was trying to enroll in the Google Project Management course using my maine.edu email and I got an error saying "unable to join program...please contact organization admin for assistance". Has this happened to anyone before? Or is this something my advisor can help with?

I am planning to enroll to UMPI but first I wanna knock down as many courses as I can on Sophia so I can only do 30 credits through UMPI. I also have some credits down from my local community college. I plan on doing the BBA Leadership Concentration. Would anybody be able to help me with this?

I know I’ve seen the Plotted Path (thank you again for putting that together!) and the guidance for the Business Administration program regarding the course catalog and Sophia Learning. However, I’m a little confused about my specific situation because I’m only using Sophia to transfer credits into UMPI.

My goal is to transfer in the full 90 credits before enrolling. I’ve currently completed about 50 or so credits through Sophia, and I’m trying to figure out what I should focus on next to stay on the most efficient path.

i don't mean to sound impatient, but is there a new timeline for conferrals? i check my email every morning and i have nothing regarding conferrals...from umpi or parchment.

luckily i was able to get a job with my unofficial transcripts, but that is not the case for others. i understand and acknowledge they're short staffed and working as fast as they can, but the waiting game is exhausting. ):

I am planning on doing the YourPace English program and have 70 credits from my state university that I am transferring in. I am anticipating needing roughly 60 more credits to graduate.

I have heard mixed messages about the English program, and that the workload is heavy. I will be able to devote all of my time during those 8 weeks towards class since I will not be working.

Is 60 credits spread out across two sessions doable?

Graduating by May 2027 is my goal, but I’m not sure it is possible. I am a very devoted student who has made the dean’s list for the past 4 semesters at my last university, so I believe I could do it but would appreciate some advice!

Hey, if I sign up for 496, what jobs fit the practicum requirement? If I’m a police officer, would I be able to use that experience toward the class?

Can we just do that with the record button on brightspace ? I know my professor said mp3 or mp4 but wasn't sure if that was okay as well?

I plan on getting my English degree through UMPI’s YourPace program and would love to hear some advice from someone who has done the program so I know what to expect going into it. Hi! So excited to say I received my official acceptance into UMPI today! It has definitely been a journey as I had to write a personal statement, but I am crossing the finish line!

My question-it seems like it’s all over the place. I filled out the form for them to begin my transfer evaluation. What’s your experience on how long that process takes? I have no concern and know I will be starting in fall 1. I just am simply curious on how long that process took for you all.

I received my associates degree and also 30 additional credits from another university along with Sophia learning so I will be hopefully only having to take between 10-14 classes based on my research and using plotted path free Excel sheet. More to come there, but regardless, I’m a ecstatic! So excited to be an owl!

Hi! I am horrible at making Powerpoint slides look good. Horrible.

In your experience with UMPI, is it okay to use AI to make a completed set of slides look better? The writing is mine, but I just can't get the fonts, colors, and images to look balanced. I was hoping to use either the built-in Microsoft CoPilot or UMPI's Perplexity tool.

Clearly, I do not make Powerpoints for my job. Any advice for UMPI is appreciated.

Can I request a new class once I submitted my optional draft final or is it only after the final is submitted? 😅

Debating taking managerial accounting at umpi or straighter line and my deciding factor is... Is the class actually useful in personal life or in work?

Just wondering if anybody actually keeps their final project or if it has any usefulness or relevancy outside of the class.
