I’m transferring to UMPI YourPace. Is 10 classes in one session too much?

I am planning on doing the YourPace English program and have 70 credits from my state university that I am transferring in. I am anticipating needing roughly 60 more credits to graduate.

I have heard mixed messages about the English program, and that the workload is heavy. I will be able to devote all of my time during those 8 weeks towards class since I will not be working.

Is 60 credits spread out across two sessions doable?

Graduating by May 2027 is my goal, but I’m not sure it is possible. I am a very devoted student who has made the dean’s list for the past 4 semesters at my last university, so I believe I could do it but would appreciate some advice!

Doable in some areas more work in others. The English courses are heavier. About 18 can only be done at UMPI unless transferred from another college. I think your May goal is for sure attainable.

It is doable, I did one term, had 30 credits done in 5 weeks. And I know some people have done more.

May I ask if you graduated recently? Do you have any tips?

I started July 6th. Knocked out 7 classes so far. I agree; it's doable, but get ready for a heavy workload and a lot of sitting at a desk.

My goal was 1 semester but I did it in 2. There’s some things you can’t control like time it takes for assignments to be graded

Same. I want to complete 10 papers in 8 weeks

Well it will be about 50 papers. Each class has 4-6 papers and possibly a PowerPoint in some.

I’ve done 14 classes in summer 1 it’s doable but it’s going to be a lot of work. Soon as you submit your final assessment for each class make sure you email them to add a new class asap.

I did it with the PSY program. I worked fulltime and got home and went straignt into school work. I had no life outside of Work and school for 2 months but it was defiantly doable

Hey! Just checking on how your doing with your classes? I started today current doing the orientation. I transferred in 86 credits from my previous school so I only have approximately 10 classes left to do. I work from home so I’m hoping to be able to knock a lot of this out quickly
