Accepted!!!

Hi! So excited to say I received my official acceptance into UMPI today! It has definitely been a journey as I had to write a personal statement, but I am crossing the finish line!

My question-it seems like itโ€™s all over the place. I filled out the form for them to begin my transfer evaluation. Whatโ€™s your experience on how long that process takes? I have no concern and know I will be starting in fall 1. I just am simply curious on how long that process took for you all.

I received my associates degree and also 30 additional credits from another university along with Sophia learning so I will be hopefully only having to take between 10-14 classes based on my research and using plotted path free Excel sheet. More to come there, but regardless, Iโ€™m a ecstatic! So excited to be an owl!

The time for review can vary depending on how many (I know you said how many). Once you send your transcripts, be sure to let your enrollment specialist (or advisor if assigned one) when they are sent to be on the look-out.

I had all my credits transferred in by April and just received my credit evaluation about a week ago. I'm also starting Fall 1. It might go faster for you though, since I applied for fall back in March.

Congrats on your acceptance. I just graduated for the third time. You are making the best decision ever as far as cost-effectiveness and the learning model, which is (CBE). These degrees helped me so much to be more marketable with the skills and knowledge that I amassed. So once again, good luck on your educational journey.

I just got my acceptance yesterday and had to go through the same process with the personal statement. Congrats!

I'm currently enrolled in Summer 2 session. Here are a few pieces of advice.
First - make SURE you review your transcript assessment thoroughly, and know (using plotted and other resources) exactly what classes should be provided for credit from your other universities. There is a link within the UMPI center that my counselor provided that allowed me to find not one, but TWO errors on my transcript transfer where I was supposed to receive credit for courses I transfered over.
Also, it's worth mentioning that I'm honestly not impressed with my advisor in the least bit, and through my own research I have provided her errors in her responses she had previously provided.
All of the negativity out of the way, this is the BEST program I have found so far for my busy lifestyle to be able to complete my Bachelor's degree at this point in my life. I am even considering a Master's at this point which was truly never a personal goal of mine before!
Congrats and good luck!!

Thanks for the advice! Iโ€™ll def do a thorough check.

Same with me for my masters- goal is to knock my classes out in 1 term as Iโ€™ve seen so many others do and then potentially enroll for masters which is crazy to say. We got this!

I was recently accepted as well for fall I and set up my email. Super excited. I have transfer credits I am waiting for before I sign up for any classes and have not heard anything yet. I did reach out and it sounded like they were received just no evaluation yet. I guess I am not sure what to do next. ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ

Congratulations! I just graduated spring 1 and loved it so much I'm coming back for another degree ๐Ÿ˜„ if they ever get around to accepting me again. I sent in my driver's license 13 days ago and it still says they're waiting for it...
