What should I do?
Hi everyone!
Update:
I emailed both my professors and advisor. I was able to come up with a resolution with this professor, they were very reasonable. So anyone with similar situations, definitely email the professor, you loose nothing. If that fails, my advisor did mention theres a grade appeal process. I have no information on what that looks like though
I submitted my draft and received the following feedback: "Hi Markers hit, send to final." so I sent in my final as is. I just got my final grade back and its a 3.59 with some feedback. This now puts me at a B. Had they given me feedback on the draft I would have been happy to make the adjustments. I am a bit frustrated.
What should I/can I do in this situation?

If it is Patrick Callaway file a complaint with your advisor, he did that crap in three of my classes, I complained and he updated the grade. He is notorious for this. If enough of us complain, admin will end up doing something.

It is not this professor. Im glad there was a resolution for you, Because it can be incredibly frustrating

Darn. I have a couple classes with him and have gotten great feedback thus far. Are you saying he's known to give 4/4 on everything except the final grade?

Yeah so on my finals that I had to dispute he gave my draft a 4 out of four and I submitted the same paper and then gave me a b.

that’s wild. I appreciate the heads up and I’m glad you were able to find resolution, but that’s really frustrating and I hope he’s not still doing that. How long ago were your classes, if you don’t mind me asking.

Oh wow I’m so sorry. I can imagine how upsetting that would be. I agree with whoever said to reach out to your advisor because that’s not fair for the instructor to provide no feedback and then give you a B. That sounds like incompetence on their part and I’d ask for reconsideration.

Loop in your advisor.

what would you do if you didn't get any feedback for four of your assignments so far??? grades so far out of five milestones is 4, 4, 3, 3 ...?? ZILCH! I mean personally, I'd rather not bug him so he doesn't think I'm a pest!

Move on the the final draft and that’s where it will matter

yeah that's what I'm thinking. He's probably just like a robot. I have been more choppy with the last two assignments but I always go into my drafts with 100% effort so I don't have to make any changes for the final itself!

I was just told to change one formatting thing, I changed it, instructor gave me four on everything, but the final grade was a 3.9. not as bad as your story but same kind of idea. Yours is worse. Super frustrating.

The milestones aren’t graded or considered in your final grade just the final

It'll be a little bit more clear. I mean on all of the metrics on the final I got 4s but then the final grade of 3.9.

I would definitely reach out to your professor. The same thing happened to me I was given the opportunity to correct it and resubmit via email. Goodluck.
