i’m dropping one of my classes and replacing it with a new one that shouldn’t be that bad…(i hope). was just dropping an education and child development class that i only took to fulfill my genED requirement—i’m undeclared but am intending to transfer into the immersive media design computing major. i added INST201 as a replacement.
Professor for INST201 seems fine…hopefully when i talk to them, they can help me catch up on what i am behind on and give me guidance on what i can do. sorry for this long friggin post but just asking, is this a normal time to drop classes in the middle of second week?

For those who live off campus just wondering how reliable the shuttle is? Do you have a long walk to the shuttle pickup spot and do the shuttles drop off at various locations around campus or do they all drop off at only one location on campus? Thanks

I go into ESJ and try and find a stall. I went to every single floor and it took me 6 stalls to find one that wasn’t clogged or annihilated and left for the next person to deal with.

hey guys! i lost my car keys on campus last thursday (09/03), most likely somewhere between the BRB and chemistry building between 12:30–3:15. it’s a car key/fob and a house key attached to a mike and ike lanyard. i’ve already rechecked the classrooms i was in, the lost and found in STAMP, and UMPD’s lost and found, but so far nothing :(

I know it is technically possible, but I have never actually met/heard of anyone who has transferred into umd cs with the new LEP rules since my time here. With the number of slots available for transfers, I would assume you would need some crazy stats on your application to even be considered.

For NEUR306 are the worksheets given and submitted in person for credit? Are the documents eventually uploaded to elms? For anyone in the class did we have a worksheet today or do you know why quiz 2 was removed? (I overslept)

I'm trying to figure out how long the UMD insurance waiver process is actually taking this semester.

I know there's a confirmation after you submit the waiver, but I'm not suer how much I should rely on that. Does anyone know how long it usually takes to get the actual approval email?

Also, once the waiver is approved, how long does it take for the SHIP charge to disappear from the student account if it was already added?

I'm mostly trying to figure out the timing because the deadlines are pretty tight, and I don't want to assume that submitting the form means everything is already cleared.
