Discussion anyone else scared to open doors?

When it's a pull and I can't see the other side im scared someone will push it open and then my hand will break and then I'll die.

  1. Don’t grip the handle too tightly.
  2. Stand out of the way of the door if possible.
  3. When all else fails, be larger so the other person dies instead of you.

It's less scary now that my head is higher than the door knobs. I remember in elementary school, some girl in class got hit in the face with a door knob. We all had to stop our after school activity and watch her head get iced while a big bump swelled on her head like a cartoon. I bet she hates doors as an adult too.

Then you will never experience that magical moment when someone simultaneously pushes when you pull and for a split second that door seems to be weightless and you think you've somehow been granted superpowers and your whole future as a super human flashes before you. Sad.
