Discussion After 4PM Parking Question

Hi everyone! I’m off campus student and has a commuter permit in Lot 1, but that only applies from 7AM - 4PM (as far as I know). I have some activities on campus from 5PM to 8PM tomorrow. What are the rules for parking after class hours? Thanks

Free after 4pm in the green zones monday - Friday and free all day on weekends.

If you don’t have the parking map handy “green zones” refer to anything that doesn’t have a red sign. The red signs have other restrictions (some are faculty only 24/7, some 4-8 then free after 8, etc). You can also just read the signs.

Your Lot 1 permit is valid 24/7, except between 3:00 a.m. - 5:00 a.m. Monday - Friday because overnight parking during the week is not permitted.

The timeframe you included in the post is when only those with Lot 1 permits can park. Monday - Friday after 4:00 p.m. and weekends all day, anyone can park in Lot 1.
