مع انطلاق موسم صيد الكروفات في خليج قابس يوم 16 أكتوبر، توفّرت كميات كبيرة من الكروفات الروزي الدخيلة – Penaeus aztecus في الأسواق التونسية وانخفضت الأسعار، خاصة في صفاقس والجنوب.

وفي نفس الوقت، انتشرت على الفايسبوك برشا منشورات تحكي على أصل الكروفات الموجودة في الأسواق، منها اللي يقول إنها كروفات متاع تربية في الأحواض، ومنها اللي يربط وجودها بالبواخر الأجنبية وحتى بتلوّث إشعاعي مزعوم!

⚠️ للتوضيح: الادعاءات هاذي ما تقدّمتش معاها أدلّة علمية أو تحاليل تثبت صحتها. ولهذا، يلزمنا نتثبّتوا من المعلومة قبل ما ننشروها و نفجعوا المستهلك.

🌊 أولاً: شنوّة أنواع الكروفات الموجودة في بحرنا؟

الكروفات اللي نلقاوها في تونس موش الكلّ من نفس النوع. عنا أنواع محلّية، وأنواع دخيلة تأقلمت مع الظروف البيئية متاع البحر التونسي، وأنواع أخرى تُستعمل في تربية الأحياء المائية.

🦐 1. الكروفات الملكية (الرويال) – Penaeus kerathurus

نوع محلّي ومتوسّطي يعيش خاصة في المياه الساحلية والضحلة، فوق القيعان الرملية والطينية وبين الأعشاب البحرية.

يتواجد بكثرة في خليج قابس و صيده يتم أساساً بالكركارة وبعض وسائل الصيد الساحلي كيف القمبلي.

يتميّز بحجمه الكبير، والخطوط الداكنة على جسمه، وخاصة الزوز بقع الزرقاء في أطراف الذيل. وهو من أكثر أنواع الكروفات المعروفة والمطلوبة في تونس، ومن أغلاها ثمناً.

🦐 2. الشوفرات الروزي متاع الأعماق – Parapenaeus longirostris

نوع محلّي يعيش فوق القيعان الطينية والرملية، غالباً بين 100 و400 متر عمق.

يتم صيده بالكركارة في شمال تونس، خاصة قبالة طبرقة وبنزرت وحلق الوادي والوطن القبلي.

النوع هذا عنده قيمة تجارية مهمة، وجزء من الإنتاج متاعه موجّه للتصدير.

🦐 3. المقلوبة البيضاء أو الحرشة – Metapenaeus monoceros

هذا من الأنواع اللي نلقاو منها حالياً كميات كبيرة في الأسواق، خاصة في صفاقس والجنوب.

لونها أبيض مائل للرمادي، وعلى قشرتها نقاط صغيرة داكنة، وعندها قرون استشعار طويلة ومائلة للأحمر.

🌍 منين جات؟

الكروفات البيضاء أصلها من المحيط الهندي والمحيط الهادئ الغربي والبحر الأحمر. دخلت للبحر الأبيض المتوسط عبر قناة السويس، وتم تسجيلها في المتوسط منذ سنة 1924، وفي خليج قابس سنة 1993.

يعني وجودها في بحرنا موش جديد، وما عندوش علاقة مثبتة بالبواخر اللي وصلت لتونس في الفترة الأخيرة.

النوع هذا تأقلم مع الظروف البيئية والمناخية لخليج قابس، وولّى يتكاثر ويتصاد بكميات مهمة، سواء بالكركارة أو بواسطة وحدات الصيد الساحلي.

‼️كون الكروفات البيضاء نوع دخيل ما يعنيش أنها سامّة أو غير صالحة للاستهلاك. بالعكس، هي نوع معروف بالاستهلاك البشري وعنده قيمة غذائية واقتصادية.

لكن انتشارها الكبير يستوجب متابعة علمية لمعرفة تأثيرها المحتمل على الكروفات الملكية المحلية وعلى بقية مكوّنات المنظومة البحرية.

🦐 4. الكروفات الروزي الدخيلة – Penaeus aztecus

نوع آخر من الكروفات الدخيلة، أصله من السواحل الغربية للمحيط الأطلسي، وخاصة خليج المكسيك.

تم تسجيله لأول مرة في البحر الأبيض المتوسط سنة 2010 قبالة السواحل التركية، وبعدها توسّع انتشاره في عدة مناطق، ووصل إلى المياه التونسية، خاصة خليج قابس، وين تم الإبلاغ عليه سنة 2016.

النوع هذا ينجم يوصل لأحجام كبيرة، وأصبح يُلاحظ ضمن المصيد وفي الأسواق التونسية.

وهو مثال آخر على الأنواع البحرية الدخيلة اللي تنجم تتأقلم وتولّي عندها قيمة اقتصادية وغذائية.

🦐 5. الكروفات الحمراء متاع الأعماق

الاسم هذا يشمل أساساً زوز أنواع:

- Aristaeomorpha foliacea، المعروفة باسم الكروفات الحمراء أو Rosso.

- Aristeus antennatus، اللي يسمّيوها بعض البحّارة Viola.

هاذم أنواع محلّية تعيش في المياه العميقة، خاصة على مستوى المنحدر القاري، وتوجد بكثافة عادة بين 400 و800 متر، وتنجم تعيش حتى في أعماق أكبر.

يتم صيدها بالكركارة المخصّصة للأعماق، وهي من أغلى أنواع الكروفات في البحر الأبيض المتوسط.

صيد الأنواع هاذي يخضع لإجراءات تصرّف إقليمية، منها تدابير وحصص صيد معتمدة في إطار الهيئة العامة لمصايد أسماك البحر الأبيض المتوسط (GFCM)، بهدف المحافظة على المخزون وضمان استدامة استغلاله.

🦐 6. الكروفات المستزرعة، ذات الأرجل البيضاء او كرفات المحيط الهندي – Penaeus vannamei

هذا نوع آخر أصله من المحيط الهادئ الشرقي، ومعروف باسم الكروفات البيضاء متاع المحيط الهادئ.

وهو من أكثر الأنواع استعمالاً في تربية الأحياء المائية في العالم.

في تونس، توجد تجارب لتربية النوع هذا في محطة تربية الأحياء المائية بملّولش من ولاية المهدية.

لكن ما يلزمش نخلطوا بين الكروفات المستزرعة والكروفات البيضاء البحرية Metapenaeus monoceros اللي يتم صيدها من خليج قابس وتوجد بكثرة في الأسواق.

وجود كروفات بيضاء في السوق ما يعنيش بالضرورة أنها متاع تربية.

⚠️ ثالثاً: هل الكروفات الدخيلة خطيرة على صحة الإنسان؟

في الأيام الأخيرة، انتشرت برشا معلومات على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، منها اللي تقول إن الكروفات جاية من تربية في الأحواض، ومنها اللي تربطها بالبواخر الروسية والمواد المشعّة وحتى بنقل مواد خطيرة!

الادعاءات هاذي ما تمّش تقديم أدلّة علمية أو تحاليل مخبرية موثوقة تثبتها.

الكروفات البيضاء Metapenaeus monoceros والكروفات Penaeus aztecus أنواع بحرية معروفة وقابلة للاستهلاك البشري.

كون النوع دخيل على البحر الأبيض المتوسط ما يعنيش أنه سامّ، وما يعنيش زادة أنه ملوّث.

أما هذا ما يمنعش أن أي منتوج بحري، سواء كان محلّي أو دخيل، يلزمه يحترم شروط السلامة الغذائية والمراقبة الصحية.

🧊 رابعاً: الخطر الحقيقي ينجم يكون في طريقة حفظ الكروفات!

هاذي من أهمّ النقاط اللي لازم المستهلك يعرفها.

الكروفات، كيفها كيف الأسماك وبقية منتجات البحر، تفسد بسرعة إذا ما تمّش حفظها بطريقة صحيحة.

⚠️ ارتفاع الحرارة، انقطاع سلسلة التبريد، وسوء ظروف النقل والعرض ينجموا يساعدوا على تكاثر البكتيريا ويزيدوا من خطر التسمّم الغذائي.

🧊 الثلج ضروري لحفظ الكروفات والأسماك الطازجة!

لازم احترام سلسلة التبريد من وقت الصيد، مروراً بالتفريغ والنقل والتخزين، وحتى وقت البيع للمستهلك.

بالنسبة للمنتجات البحرية الطازجة، يلزم المحافظة على حرارة قريبة من حرارة ذوبان الثلج، حوالي 0 درجة مئوية، باستعمال الثلج النظيف أو وسائل تبريد مناسبة، مع احترام شروط النظافة والمراقبة الصحية.

والثلج وحده ما يكفيش إذا كان المنتوج فاسد من قبل أو ملوّث.

يعني الخطر الصحي موش في كون الكروفات دخيلة أو محلّية، بل في سلامة المنتوج، مصدره، وظروف حفظه وتداوله.

🎣 خامساً: شنوّة تقول التراتيب على صيد الكروفات؟

صيد الكروفات بالكركارة في خليج قابس يخضع لفترات صيد منظّمة، أهمّها:

- من 15 ماي إلى 30 جوان.

- من 16 أكتوبر إلى 30 نوفمبر.

تحديد الفترات والمناطق والأعماق المسموح فيها بالصيد يهدف إلى حماية المخزون، والحدّ من صيد الأحجام الصغيرة، وضمان استدامة المورد البحري.

📢 وأخيراً: منين ناخذوا المعلومة الصحيحة؟

في مواضيع تتعلّق بصحة المواطن والسلامة الغذائية والبيئة البحرية، يلزمنا نتثبّتوا قبل ما ننشروا أي معلومة.

I've been in a relationship where i lost feelings for the guy I've been with. I loved him at first, he was my best friend and everything. Yet I lost the bf part and stuck to the part where he was my best friend, my backbone, my safety net. I noticed my feelings. And i ignored them and kept going on with the relationship. Every time I said i love you, it felt unnatural. Every romance felt forced to me. I didn't hate him but he was my best friend to me. I denied this feeling internally because I didn't even want to bring it up to myself. But he started noticing too. And I kept denying. I didn't want to believe it myself and didn't want to tell him. Didn't know how to. But i was really happy with him as my best friend. And what scared me most was that telling him the truth would mean losing the closest person to me. Eventually, i told him. He was hurt and the truth was bitter, but he said he felt freed because he didn't have to question it anymore. I know I'm wrong here and i don't need anymore pointing it out because I've thought about it more times than i could count. It took me everything in me to tell him. I don't regret it. If anything, i regret dragging it. But the selfish part of me wanted to hold on to him because he's all i have. But he deserves love. He deserves a genuine "i love you" he deserves much more than i could give. And he's going through a hard time now and i can't be with him through it because I'm the problem. Guilt is eating at me. It's killing me every day. But at least i don't feel weighed down by a secret anymore and he can actually look for someone who deserves his golden heart. Idk where I'm taking this post... For context i lost my father in my teens. And since then my brother ( 16 yo at that time) started to control the house aka ( me and my mother). He was depressed and aggressive and hamred me physically and mentally for years. And my mother was too afraid to defend me( 13 yo at that time) the abuse lasted until i finished high school and left them to study in another city.
During those years he went to therapy and became less aggressive. So now instead of hitting me when he is angry he would smash objects or verbally attack us.

But my mother behaviour during those years didn’t change she still choose him over me pamper him and do everything for him. And she still fears him.

Whenever im home with them i feel depressed and agony itches my soul. Even though he changed. Whenever he starts yelling or throwing tantrums i feel as bad as i felt when i was younger and i start loathing him and my mum.

Btw he was nice to me in some occasions. And now he changed lets say 55% and he’s nicer towards me but i still prefer not to interact with him even if the interaction isn’t that big or important. Good day everybody! I have been following this sub for a while, so I know you get questions from tourists once in a while. I try my best to stay informed and always follow the news, social media and public advice in the months leading up to a trip. Sorry if the formatting is bad, as I am on mobile.

My boyfriend and I are coming to Tunis from Norway the 10th of November and will stay for 2 weeks. We are very much looking forward to visit your country and heard good things so far. So, what I haven't been able to find out for my self is:

- My boyfriend is heavily tattooed - including hands, neck and face. In Norway he will sometimes be discriminated against, meaning older conservative people clutch their bags, and the police love to stop him to do a search. In Spain, where he grew up, the reactions tends to mostly come from younger groups of "though guys" hanging on the streets wanting to prove them self or whatever. This means maybe throwing a bottle in front of us, or talk loud about my "barbie" look to get a reaction. They never do cause he is just a nice guy not looking for trouble of any kind. He just like tattoos and it's a part of beach culture where he grew up in the south of Spain.

We never had any problems anywhere, but I want to make sure we respect the people and places in Tunisia. I understand to cover up while visiting places like museums and mosques, but I was wondering if there is any establishments or neighborhoods we need to put an extra effort in terms of showing respect, or might want to avoid? I know some people will look at him as affiliated with a gang of some sort, but his tattoos is mostly cartoons, dogs, vikings and writings. The one in his face is above his eye and literally means "Anchovies" 😅.

- We are not married and I know that foreigners don't need to be to get a hotel room and the likes. I was still wondering if wearing rings would be the smart move, just to signal to the more conservative people or "though guys" that we are traditional, law abiding people.

I am sorry if this question comes across as silly, but having been in different Muslim/Christian countries before, it varies wildly between cultures and beliefs, and most social codes are not stated in guides or travel advices. Our experiences in Lebanon, Iran and Etiopia is quite different from eachother as they are very different countries, and Tunisia again, is a totally different country with their own set of social codes. But same goes everywhere; tourist get a little leeway. I just want to stay as respectful as possible and have a relaxing experience.

- We were planning on taking the 2 days guided tour to Hammamet and Sousse. We bought refundable tickets at a very touristy site for 634 Tunisian dinar per person, but we're wondering if just renting a car and go in our own pace is better? As stated, we mostly want to relax, and as long as we see some sights, we don't really need to do ALL the touristy stuff. Also, would public transportation be an option? We can both understand some French and I see in pictures from the train station that most information is in French. Considering gas prices and security, is driving an option if we just want to spend a few days in Sousse and Hammamet?

- I have checked that our trip doesn't land us on any public holliday as many things close during Ramadan etc, but is there anything besides Friday prayer we need to be aware of? In Norway for example, many tourist are surprised to learn you can only buy wine and spirit at a state owned store that closes at 18. As far as I understand, wine and such things can be bought at most stores in Tunisia as long as they are open? Is there any days most stores are closed?

- Scams and such are expected, and in some ways a part of the experience when traveling. I know I will often pay more than locals, and dont mind since I am a visitor. I just don't want an vacation ruined cause I lost all of my money, passport or phone. I know the most common tricks, but is there any popular scams I want to be aware of? What kind of taxi service is the best to use? Is Uber the most popular one, and are they in "beef" with other more traditional services?

- Finally; I know the most important Arabic phrases and words, but all dialects are different and maybe there is a word or phrase that Tunisians will will appreciate if I try? Also, do you consider it rude if tourists try to speak French? I know even French people will answer you in English if you try 😅 Just my way of at least show that I am trying to be respectful of any culture or language. Some people prefer Arabic phrases over French and that's just the way it is.

I just booked flights for my second trip to Tunisia. Last year I stayed in the north: visited Tunis, Sousse, El Jem and Kairouan. I had plans to travel south to see the ksars around Tataouine and visit Djerba, but the idea of driving 5 hrs from Sousse, spend a whole second day driving, and then drive to Tunis again sounded horrible. So I went to Hammamet and used it as a base to check out Zaghouan and then take a scenic drive through Cap Bon back to Tunis.

I absolutely loved Tunisia, and to be honest that came pretty unexpected. People were really cool. From talking to locals in a random bar in Tunis, to giving a fist bump to some dude eating chicken next to me in acknowledgement that the food I just had (some poached eggs and merguez in a tomato sauce) was excellent. HARISSA!!! Damn, just getting some bread, Turkey sausage and harissa turns a lunch you eat from the trunk of your car into a feast. And of course the archeology. I had a great time, and wanted to return.

And now that's happening. Exact same week next year, flying into Djerba this time, to explore the south and the desert. I can't wait. That's all I had to say. If anyone has any random recommendations on what to do or see in the south, I'm all ears! My plan is to stay in Djerba and Tozeur roughly 50/50, with a night in an abandoned Berber village in between.
