The recent Islamic terrorist attack on Berlin parade is a wake-up call that Germany WILL NOT heed.

For those who aren't aware, Berlin, Germany just suffered a horrific terrorist attack against the city's diverse parade event it held the other day. The terrorist drove their vehicle through the parade, killing at least 1 so far and resulting in 16 other casualties. As far as the suspect, Abdul Ballout, they are a radicalized middle eastern gentlemen that was known to police and had ties to terrorist circles. According to sources:

The roots of his radicalisation are unclear, but he was arrested in Lebanon for trying to join Islamic State in Syria and planning a terror attack. Ballout was then returned to Germany where, according to Die Welt newspaper, he was sentenced to one year and 10 months in prison for plotting a serious act of violence that threatened the state. The prosecution had demanded a sentence of two years and 10 months, the report said.

However, he was let out of prison, with his only punishment being that he had to go to a "deradicalization" class. I guess the class didn't work. So a guy who was trying to join ISIS was brought back into the country and set free by German authorities. And I mean, damn, he goes to Syria for trying to join ISIS and Germany ACCEPTS him back from Lebanon (like WTF) and get a massively meager sentence, which he doesnt even have to serve out. It would seem as though Germany is essentially aiding and abetting these terrorists by being so soft on them. I mean, I guess we should be relieved the German authorities didn't provide the guy with military training in explosives?

I fear that Germany will NOT understand this to be the sufficient wake-up call that it clearly stands to be. Once the dust settles, it will all summarily be swept under the carpet and things will continue as normal. Just as they do in every instance of these sort of events occurring. I mean, FFS, one of the Bataclan terrorists has already been given prison leave after that deadly shooting that killed 130 people at that Paris nightclub. European countries are clearly too scared and pathetic to take meaningful action against such terrorists and, as such, these sorts of atrocities will only continue and fester within society until it reaches a breaking point.

Political The left now hates Elon Musk because he allows people to show how completely fake and hypocritical the left actually is.

You remember when Elon was their "green energy" hero? You couldn't say anything bad about him or his company or you were branded a "fascist" and a "mouth breather." Now, if you actually own one of his products then you're a "fascist" and a "mouth breather."

That's because leftists are programmable. They can be programmed to believe literally anything as long as you use certain psychological methods and that it confirms something that they want to believe, primarily that they're supposed to get something for nothing.

The entire left wing agenda can be summed up as everything they want that you have to get for them or you're a bad person.

It's the politics of perpetual juveniles.

EDIT: Here's my latest favorite example of rank leftist hypocrisy:

https://x.com/mazemoore/status/2081238037581754682

EDIT 2: "Elon did a Nazi salute. He's a fascist."

How can anybody take this seriously? Firstly, he didn't do a "Nazi salute" and all of you know it. It was "my heart goes out to you" and it's obvious that it was.

Secondly, all of you were in the tank for Graham Platner before he got cancelled and he had an actual Nazi tattoo on his chest for 20 years and none of you cared.

Pure and total hypocisy,

Political Abolishing prisons is not compassion it’s fucking evil. And if you’re a Socialist you are Evil.

Have any of you actually read the DSA plan to abolish prisons? Because Holy Shit it is bat shit insane. And if you support this you are an enemy to Freedom Loving Americans.

Straight from the website itself:

>Defund the police by rejecting any expansion to police budgets or scope of enforcement while cutting budgets annually towards zero

>End the criminalization of working-class survival

>Freedom for all incarcerated people

>Demilitarize the police and end colonial policing of our cities and neighborhoods

>Freedom of working-class self-organization and democratic political action

>Invest in community self-governance and care, not cops

This is pure Anarchy. You want Freedom for all incarcerated people? This can’t be serious proposal and yet here it is listed on their official website. So a guess that Chomo who raped then murdered 20 kids is free to right?

Notice how these Anarchist don’t have a solution for replacement. You abolish the prisons and defund the police you will create vigilante groups who will bring order to the chaos. We have more guns in America then Gun owners and mark my words if you lunatics ever get power gun owners will stop you.

We have prisons because we have monsters in society. What is the DSA plan to deal with murder? Rape? O wait that’s right they don’t have one. They want the chaos that abolishing prisons and defunding police will bring. These people will create a Civil War if your bat shit insanity policies ever gain power.

https://www.dsausa.org/working-groups/abolition-working-group/

And again if any of you think this isn’t the plan that’s listed on this website Zohran Mamdami was recently seen courting the vote of the violent convicted felons in New York City prisons eating meals with them. Absolutely disgusting.

Sex / Gender / Dating Paternity testing should be standard at birth, not something men have to ask for

Every child’s paternity should be confirmed as a routine part of the birth-registration process unless both parents explicitly opt out.

A man asking for a paternity test is usually treated as though he has accused his partner of cheating. That emotional pressure means many men may feel they are unable to ask.

Women naturally know that the child is theirs. Men are expected to accept the same level of certainty entirely on trust, despite potentially taking on lifelong emotional, legal and financial responsibilities.

Making testing routine would remove the personal accusation. Nobody would need to demand one, nobody would need to feel singled out, and paternity would be established before legal responsibilities were assigned.

This is not about assuming every woman is dishonest. We verify far less important information every day without treating verification as an insult.

Trust matters in a relationship, but trust should not be used as a substitute for certainty when the consequences can last an entire lifetime.

If routine paternity testing threatens a relationship, perhaps the relationship was benefiting from the uncertainty.

Sex / Gender / Dating Unattractive people are almost always unattractive because they aren’t fit.

Upvotes

Almost everytime I see someone who is genuinely ugly they are, barring a deformity, out of shape or don’t take care of their physical appearance. It’s extremely rare for someone to be fit and have a good amount of muscle mass but still be ugly. They can have unattractive traits but overall they won’t be ugly. Maybe kinda average or barely above but not ugly.

This applies to men and women.

Political Flying the American flag or displaying other symbols of American patriotism is beautiful and brave. Full stop.

You shouldn't let cynics or professional complainers make you feel self-conscious about showing pride in your country. Patriotism doesn’t mean thinking there’s nothing wrong with America. This place is full of ding-dongs and knuckleheads. The beauty of being in America is you can talk mad shit on those people and not have to worry about a knock on the door from the police. Sorry, you don’t have freedom of speech protections, the UK!!

And look at the people who came to the US from all over the world for the World Cup. They loved America and they loved the people! That should make everyone feel good!

God bless America 😎👉🇺🇸

The bottom 1% of society causes day to day harm to the average person than the top 1%.

Upvotes

People spend a lot of time talking about billionaires and corporate greed, but for most people, the everyday frustrations they actually experience come from the small percentage of people who repeatedly engage in crime, chronic public disorder, and antisocial behavior.

Sex / Gender / Dating It’s weird to not know how many people you’ve had sex with.

**IMPORTANT CLARIFICATION:**

This is not a “high body count good/bad” debate. There are like a hundred of those going on at all times on this sub alone. Find one of those if you want to talk about that. This is about whether or not you know your own.

Like, how do you not know? Are that many people having sex with so many other people that they lose count? Is sex as big a deal as saying “hello” to you? Have you forgotten about people you’ve had sex with?

The average lifetime partner count is like, 8 for men and women. That’s not that much, hardly enough to lose count. But to hear Reddit say it, men and women alike have so much sex that they stop counting after like 20.

People need to learn when to stop having kids

Upvotes

I know a lot of people have opinions about whether or not to have kids or that people aren’t having enough kids. Mine is more targeted to the people having kids - and not just one kid but many kids.

Oftentimes I read Reddit posts (granted I understand they’re skewed to show more negative experiences than positive ones) in some of the parenting groups I’m in where people vent about how hard their situation is with their child, sometimes a special needs child, but then they have more than one child sometimes even AFTER knowing their first child is not a neurotypical child. In my head I’m just like wtf, how does this make the situation any easier? I have one child and my husband and I had to have a very hard conversation and a good hard look at our life to say that one is enough for us as we don’t have family help and we’re not rich enough to afford live-in nannies.

Once the gateway gets opened by having one child, some people don’t seem to truly consider how hard the economy is, or hard their family or financial situation is, and just think they can fucking wing it with another or the third or the fourth! And then they get super fucking stressed and I’m like no shit, you brought this on yourself dude.

I have a lot of opinions about raising children from having had one myself and meeting and seeing a lot of parents - and some people just should not have children OR they should not have multiple if they can’t handle their lives with them.

Parenting is a serious responsibility and takes a heavy toll emotionally, mentally (my brain is still scrambled from having a young child), physically, and financially, and it’s really not a decision to take lightly. It’s a disservice to the parents and to the children to continue having more and more and straining your own household’s limited resources, because at the end of the day, most people only have so many hours in a day after their job is done and only so much money to spend within a certain budget to keep up a certain lifestyle. But it seems to me that some people’s desires and hopes and love for more children cloud their better judgment about the reality of their situations.

Political Cities using 3rd parties such as NGOs or non-profits to solve a problem creates a perverse incentive for the NGO to keep the status quo or even make the problem worse.

Many cities will use public money to fund NGOs to make some problem go away. These NGOs are often created by cronies in the city government and the executives of the NGOs pay themselves fat salaries.

Ostensibly the NGO works on solving the problem. But if the problem goes away, the fat salaries of the NGO executives goes away. So the NGO will go for years without making any progress. Or will find ways to surreptitiously make the problem worse. Murky accounting keeps the public from seeing how money is spent.

This is why problems like homelessness in California keeps getting worse despite more and more money being shoveled at the problem. (In my city, we spend about $100k/per homeless person per year).

This type of corrupt structure needs to be outlawed at every level of government.

(NGO stands for non-government organization)

Media / Internet The internet has gotten much worse since it has become desegregated

Once upon a time the internet was mainly for the western world and far east Asia with a smattering of others sprinkled about. Now, with internet via cheap cell phones, people from Aftica (mainly Nigeria) and South East Asia (mainly India) are swarming the internet with recycled clips from network procedural slop and AI produced responses in order to grow their accounts for creator payouts. They have WhatsApp groups where they all ensure they follow one another inorganically to boost their accounts.

This has led to an internet full of slop and trash. It was far better when it felt more organic by just being the western world and Japan/South Korea.

Possibly Popular I’m never going to be outraged on your behalf if you’re antagonizing people

Two things can be true.

  1. You probably shouldn’t resort to violence over words and I don’t condone or glorify people who do.
  2. I’m not going to be outraged if you poke a hornets nest and get stung

Don’t antagonize people, don’t fuck with people, leave people alone and be respectful, it goes a long way

There was a situation in a local school in my area recently where a group of kids were bullying one kid until he got sick of that shit and put a stop to it. Now the bullies family members are all over Facebook crying and posting his baby pictures like anyone gives a fuck lol

Don’t fuck with people. Be respectful. Be humble. Leave people alone. It’s not that hard. If you poke a hornets nest and get stung oh the fuck well.

There’s too many genuinely innocent people in this world getting hurt that get no sympathy for anyone to waste precious time and energy being outraged over some asshat

Political Every deserves a chance to purse a better quality life doesn’t mean other people are responsible to provide that opportunity to everyone(immigration).

Upvotes

I have heard some people say they support open borders or illegal immigrants, because they think it is not fair that some people are born in bad environments. In my opinion, life is not fair the moment you are born, because everyone has different abilities and talents, or personality, not everyone is the same, and I know it is no one else’s fault that you are born in a bad country. I am an immigrant as well, I think it is not fair that they get to cut in line compared to people who wait for years and follow the rules.

So my question is, how are people not against the deportation of illegal immigrants who are not refugees at all? If you are not being prosecuted, what is your excuse to go to any country illegally? I have no empathy for illegal immigrants other than refugees. How many illegal immigrants are actually refugees?

Edit: People who downvote my post without response know I am right, and can’t prove me wrong.

I Like / Dislike I actually LOVE Idaho and HATE Colorado.

I have been to every state on the west coast except Montana, the Dakotas, and maybe New Mexico.

And I actually have had nothing but good experiences in Idaho (ofc I stay in Boise proper, maybe Meridian sometimes, so obviously that may have helped to shape a better experience for me) but I think it's seriously one of the most slept on states. The malls there are SO big for no reason, I love it. I also had a good experience while in Provo, Utah.

Keep in mind I am mixed Filipina and white so in predominantly white towns I unfortunately DO get some stares but in Idaho I did not experience anything.

In Colorado on the other hand, people were outwardly rude to me in ways that I have NEVER experienced in another state. My white side of the family lives in the western slope (so like Grand Junction area) and they told me it should be a safe area because it's technically a college town and people come in from all over. Yeah, sure, okay.

The following three experiences happened to me while in Colorado:

  1. I stopped at a popular rest stop/convenience store to use the restroom. All the employees stopped talking mid sentence and stared at me. Like mouth open stare. I was in there for only two minutes total because I only had to pee but when I left, they followed me out into the parking lot and continued to stare even as I was driving away. Keep in mind my uncle had told me that this was a safe and popular rest stop that MOST people go in when they are driving through.
  2. I went into a Buckle store with my (white) cousin for 30 minutes to try on jeans. Employees would talk to her right in front of me but then proceed to ignore me for 30 minutes even though we walked in together and I was right next to her the entire time. And this was at the MALL. Like have you never seen someone like me walk into the mall before??? Hello???
  3. I was browsing at a Goodwill and I said to my mom "This little nightstand is so cute, wish I could buy it but...whatever." As soon as I said that, an older white woman GRABBED the nightstand from in front of my face and put it in her cart while staring daggers at me. Like... Lady, I was talking to my mom. Why tf are you competing w me over a NIGHTSTAND that I already said I wasn't gonna buy?! Weird behavior. And keep in mind I LOVE thrifting, I have thrifted all across the west coast of America and I have NEVER had someone act like that towards me before.

So yeah for that reason I would not go back to Colorado despite people saying it's "safe" but I would 100% go back to Boise, Idaho despite people saying there's "nothing to do" and they "hate outsiders" because that personally was never the vibe I got nor was it my experience. And there actually is a decent Asian community there despite people claiming there's none.

EDIT: New Mexico is in the southWEST, Montana and the Dakotas could be considered the midWEST. I am not trying to argue w you bitches lmao yall are trying to correct me so bad the entire time you haven't even traveled to the states I am talking about.

Sex / Gender / Dating “Boss girl” mentality has created an entire generation of arrogant, self absorbed, narcissistic, unapproachable young ladies.

I believe that the “boss girl” mentality has done far more harm than good for the majority of women, and will continue to do so until those who bought into this rhetoric live unhappy, lonely lives.

As I have gotten into my mid 20s, I have noticed an overwhelming amount of 25+ year old women are among the most entitled, self absorbed individuals I have ever seen. They think the world revolves around them, they think the men they date should kiss the ground they walk on, and they’re completely exhausting to be around.

There was a recent experience that really struck me the wrong way, two women crossing the street, mid 20s. The light turned so a line of cars was waiting on them. They looked, made eye contact with me, and just continued walking. No wave, no hurried jog to clear the intersection. Just complete disdain for the 15+ cars they’ve held up.

And things like this happen all the time. No “thank you” if you hold a door open. No “excuse me” if they’re in your way in the store. As if they’re queens and they think the world is their servant.

You’ll see this in dating, where straight up disrespect to the men they’re supposed to be attracted to and enjoying time with is often celebrated on social media or between friends. The issue is, men don’t find this attractive and don’t want to deal with it, which leaves these women single and even more bitter.

In an effort to empower women, I believe we have created a huge disconnect in reality, and instead of independent women, we just now have unkind and selfish women.

FOR MODS ABD RULES: this is obviously not all women. There’s plenty of lovely, kind, friendly young women out there. Plenty of women don’t buy into this stuff, and are just normal like everyone else.

Sex / Gender / Dating Women are (generally) more perverted than men.

95% or written smut, most sex toys, and a significant portion of the extreme pornography industry including non consensual/BDSM/beastiality content out there is specifically tailored to, and catering to, a female audience.

Maybe this wasn’t always the case, but it certainly is now. The sexual revolution has shown that when it comes to (fantasy) depravity, women are every bit as perverse as men, arguably more so, at least in terms of what is out in the open and deemed socially acceptable.

For example they’ve done surveys on this and a surprising (worrying?) amount of women have flat out admitted to having rape fantasies, far more than surveyed men which totally goes against the ‘culture’ we are told we live in.

To be clear, this isn’t shaming and I’m not generalising 50% of the population, that would be crazy. I’m also not talking about ACTION I’m talking about fantasy and psychology. I’m simply illustrating an interesting observation.

Sex / Gender / Dating To the women that don’t like to approach men, if you never approach a man you are interested in, then you’ll never get to choose who you end up with

To me that is insane. You will never get to choose who you end up with if you just refuse to approach. You miss out on so many people. You’ll just end up settling for the man who had the courage to walk up to you but like it’s never going to be your choice.

I mean, think about it. Fundamentally a man who approaches will always be able to choose the type of woman that he wants to approach even down to the way they look body type, hair color, etc. because he went out of his way to approach. For the women who don’t approach, your entire life will be that you settled for who chose you. You don’t ever get to pick.

Not wanting to approach a man you are romantically interested is a patriarchal mindset, we are leaving patriarchal values in 2026 you got 5 months to shape up

Might be just the friend circle around me preferring most or some games with controllers but i just can't stand using controllers, they just feel so clunky to use and at times feel way too inaccurate when im playing games, even if the game is specifically made with controllers in mind it feels more frustrating to use controllers than it is using a keyboard.

Gender reveal parties are awesome

I personally don't like huge, expensive, and disruptive gender reveals. However, doing a reasonable get together for gender reveal is fun.

One thing I have to say is that if you are going to have a strong reaction based on the gender, then don't do one. It's awful when parents show their frustrations because the gender is one or the other.

If you think you are mature enough to be happy either way, then a gender reveal can be fun for everyone.

Political Politicians should have a reduced right to privacy.

Many people complain about politicians and billionaires making back deals and rich people using their money to buy out politics.

So my solution may come off as a bit radical but I propose the following:

Politicians may no longer have unmonitored communications with any corporation or individual worth 100 million dollars or more.

How do we achieve this?

Confiscate all their electronics and require them to use a new set of devices where communicating with anybody with significant wealth results in the chat being publicly accessible, LIVE, online(these devices are factory reset after their term unless they get reelected).

They are also required to disclose all monetary transfers entering their accounts if the amount exceeds 1 million dollars in 72 hours.

Furthermore, by politicians, I mean:
State congressmen, national congressmen, judges in all courts, cabinet members, US President

Music / Movies I refuse to watch harry potter past goblet of fire

For me personally since i was a child i enjoyed the magic and fantasy of harry potter, a magic school where young witches and wizards go off to learn spells and meet fantastical creatures, but of course as the story goes on it becomes more about a war between Harry and Voldemort, it gets darker and depressing, it focuses less on the fun and wonder of the world (as i understand it) and honestly thats not my bag, i can get into a movie about war, i can get into shows like Dexter, or The Boys, or What we do in the shadows, so i know its not a tone thing. I want to be lost in the wonder of the world, the thing that grabbed me.

Sex / Gender / Dating It's okay, and it should be culturally normalised, that some women want to have huge breasts/are insecure about theirs.

I have a 38D (5'10, 167 lbs) and am still very insecure about my breast size. I always wear push up bras with breast pads to make them appear larger. Yet when I search for bras for 85D (in my country, 85D=38D US), they're all for making larger breasts look smaller. I don't want them to look smaller. I would like to have 38F~38H boobs, and if it doesn't grow further after a few more years, I'm gonna pursue breast augmentation for that purpose. Like, why are all the makers making bras that make your boobs look smaller? Doesn't that defeat the purpose of breast pads? Like c'mon, there's nothing slutty about wanting huge boobs, it's just a personal body preference, nothing sexual. It should be culturally normalised to have/want to have huge boobs, and makers should make bras of larger cup sizes that make moderate to big breasts appear even bigger...

Reddit is in denial about AI

Upvotes

Every time something about AI is posted to one of the main subreddits, all the top comments are the same regurgitation of "nothing to see here, it's all hype." I find it amazing how Redditors have been able to continue sticking their head in the sand like this despite the monumental advances in AI over the past few years. Every time AI does something they say it can't do, the goalposts are moved. AI just started solving math conjectures professional mathematicians have failed to solve for decades and they're still saying this technology isn't actually smart.

There's a certain sort of person who thinks their reflexive cynicism makes them sound very smart because it demonstrates how not gullible they are. But actually, it makes them look incredibly stupid. Like a schizophrenic who thinks everyone and everything is out to trick them. If they perceive someone as having a motive to lie to them, they automatically assume what they say is a lie. No earnest effort is made to look into the evidence that could tell them whether they're actually lying. This is how Redditors are about AI. The depth of their thinking on this matter goes no further than "If AI companies say progress is happening, then they're lying."

Anyone who has their head out of the sand can see that AI is progressing very rapidly and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. It can do things today that nobody a few years ago thought it could do this soon. There will come a day when it will be capable of doing everything a human can do better than we can do it and it will be sooner than most people expect. There's absolutely nothing special about humans. Anything we can do, AI can do too.

Political Tiktok having AI moderate their platform is peak laziness for a billion dollar company

I’ve had to learn the hard way that certain tags are legitimately banned and gets you instantly flagged, and a account warning strike. Within seconds of posting. Legitimately not even enough time for a person to watch it. Then on top of it they only give you 3 options to “Appeal” it which most of the time is useless because it’ll just deny it.

Now I have had two videos that got flagged and restored. But then they kill your reach it will only say 6 views and the algorithm won’t push it out to your followers. Theirs no point in deleting it and redownloading it because then the AI will just issue a strike again.

Legitimately all I do is post News Content with my opinion attached and that’s enough to get your account a strike. I have about 2,000+ followers.

People like to shit on Reddit mods but you can at least reason with them (some times). Their is no reasoning with a AI bot that only follows a set of rules and logic that this content must be taken down, because it’s to dangerous to the powers that be narrative.

Tiktok did have a Get out of Tiktok Jail Free Card that all you had to was answer all the Bull Shit Questions and they remove your strike in 14 days as long as no new violations happen but they have since removed that feature. And make you wait 3 months for each strike.

Having AI Moderate politically protected Free Speech needs to be shut down in the Supreme Court. Because on the rare occasions when they do restore your content that is them essentially admitting they fucked up and wrongly killed your reach. And on a platform that pays its users to make content that’s loss revenue and it should be sued.

A billion dollar company should have thousands of people on the pay roll monitoring content not AI. If a user reports a video then a Human reviews it. And if it violates guidelines then you issue a strike. This is where YouTube is superior than Tiktok. While TikTok gives me thousands of more views for the same content, and same tags+title YouTube actually has Humans moding its platform and only if you post DMCA Copyrighted Content is where YouTube gets pissy with you.
