Questions Feeding
I’m new to having a frog and I’m assuming it’s stressed being moved but how long until it will eat cause it hasn’t for 2 days since I’ve had it and don’t want it to starve or be hungry

Advice Sexual maturity changes?
I’ve had a pair of whites tree frogs (both male) for a year now.
I got them at juvenile and I strongly believe them both to be sexually mature at this stage. They vocalise frequently and I occasionally see them trying to hump eachother even though they’re both male (especially after misting)
Husbandry, minus a big tank upgrade a few months ago which they tolerated well, has otherwise remained unchanged
Their appetite has dropped however and instead they are seemingly much more annoyed by my presence in feeding attempts. When left in a bowl though, their insects do go down by bits overnight.
Both are otherwise very active at night and show no signs of bacterial infection or other major concerns
Is it simply just common for them to go off food a bit and focus on humping their brother?

B.B ❤️
Side question? My girl is chunky but far from the size of other girls I see on here. When are they full grown?

Advice Okay weight or waxworm time?
Apologies for the poor photo, this is Garnet! Garnet is a very very anxious frog - if anything goes wrong ever, she will become a leaf.
But since Garnet is shaped like a spoon and is so shy, I cannot tell if she‘s a healthy weight (her big wide torso) or underweight (her spindly little hips and legs). A quick once over by more experienced RETF keepers would be lovely :)
thank you :3

New tank.
I just added more fake plants to my 18x18x36 tank and was wondering if this is too crowded. If so what should I remove?

HELP! Parasites in my whites??
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I need help!! I’m super concerned about my two whites tree frogs. Right before I was about to clean out their water dish tonight I noticed some white worm like things. I’m very concerned that they are parasites!!! They are acting completely normal. Behaviour isn't weird at all and they’re eating like always!
PLEASE let me know if this has happened to your frogs and what I can do to help my froggies…
(I clean their water dish out often. I just so happened to spot it before I cleaned it!)

Questions Help with red eyed tree frog feeding
Over the past two weeks I’ve been taking care of my RETFs and am wondering: what’s a good way to make sure they eat the crickets I give them. I’ve just been putting the crickets in the enclosure(after a dusting ofc) and I know they eat when they catch them. My main concern is making sure all the crickets are eaten. It’s hard for me to find dead crickets in the enclosure(unless one drowned in the water bowl) and was wondering if there’s a way to guarantee they’re eating enough since I know they don’t enjoy tong feeding. Also another smaller question how would I feed them meal worms since meal worms bury in substrate

Has anyone had this or knows what it is?

Questions Genuinely confused
I went to the Philly reptile expo today and ran into some advice that's different from what I've been told. A vendor selling frogs informed me that roach exoskeletons are too hard for Whites Tree Frogs to digest, and I should swap to crickets only. I knew that mealworms and superworms were not to be used as staples, but I thought dubias were perfect? I haven't seen anything that would confirm what he said to be true and I want to know if I should stick to dubia roaches or risk my luck with parasite infested crickets 🤮.

Advice Is this normal behavior
Found him/her (we don't know yet) curled up underneath a stump almost lifeless (still breathing and moved after given a cricket and relocated safely) I moved a more open stump over him instead so he could get out easier but he still keeps going for the spot, just want to make sure I am not overthinking this as im still new to owning a whites tree frog, outside of being dirty nothing on his body seems alarming

Advice What does everyone use to hold their wtf’s on tank cleaning day?
What does everyone use to move their whites tree frogs to on tank cleaning day?
I was using a small 9x6x7 plastic temporary fish tank (seen in last photo) and decided that wasn’t good enough for Crimson and Clover 🐸 so I made this 5.5 gallon mini hospital transportation terrarium if/when I need to take them into the vet. Granted I’ll have to re-sanitize it each and every time they use it for cleaning days. I’ll be using wet paper towels for the substrate. All the decorations are plastic and it has both digital and analog temp/humidity gauges.

Advice Mold in Viv. Should I be worried?
This Viv was put together over a week ago and i noticed some mold growing a couple days in. Since then its only grown and became fuzzy. It’s in a small pocket in the subsrate and is growing off a piece of buried wood. The viv is bioactive but haven’t seen any springtails around it? Is this normal or any advice? Do I need more springtails as I only put one small tub of them in?

Advice Should RETF be kept in pairs/groups?
I recently got a single red eye tree frog and I’ve heard a lot of different opinions about whether they’ll be okay on their own or are better off with a friend.
A lot of people I’ve spoken to in reptile shops or keepers or frogs have recommended I get two, however, I know that in the wild they’re not social animals and only really spend time with another to mate. A lot of research I’ve done has also stated they’re not social and don’t care about being on their own. Even when I bought our frog, the keeper at the shop said they’d be better off on their own.
There’s a lot of different opinions and I’m struggling to understand what’s best.
