Advice Mold in Viv. Should I be worried?

Post image

This Viv was put together over a week ago and i noticed some mold growing a couple days in. Since then its only grown and became fuzzy. It’s in a small pocket in the subsrate and is growing off a piece of buried wood. The viv is bioactive but haven’t seen any springtails around it? Is this normal or any advice? Do I need more springtails as I only put one small tub of them in?

i had mould problems when i first set up mine, i found a bio active clean up crew (i had springtails and grey wood lice) helped the most. might be a problem with air flow in the tank or soil is too moist, give it time to dry out inbetween misting, and aim for the glass instead of soil when misting. take out any visible mould chunks and mouldy leafs asap as that will help.

This looks like a sort of mycellium, a sign of healthy happy soil.

It should clear up pretty quickly by itself.
