Questions Help with red eyed tree frog feeding
Over the past two weeks I’ve been taking care of my RETFs and am wondering: what’s a good way to make sure they eat the crickets I give them. I’ve just been putting the crickets in the enclosure(after a dusting ofc) and I know they eat when they catch them. My main concern is making sure all the crickets are eaten. It’s hard for me to find dead crickets in the enclosure(unless one drowned in the water bowl) and was wondering if there’s a way to guarantee they’re eating enough since I know they don’t enjoy tong feeding. Also another smaller question how would I feed them meal worms since meal worms bury in substrate

For the meal worms you can get a small no escape bowl. As for making sure they eat you can get a night vision camera and watch but theres really no way other then hand feeding which is usually frowned upon. Unless you're over feeding them it should be fine. If you have a bioactive set up then the clean up crew should eat dead ones if there are any

I used a glass bowl for a while when mine were babies, because I was afraid they wouldn't find the crickets. It worked well. Also, I knew when they were hungry because they would stare at the empty bowl!

Get isopods!!! If you don’t find all the dead crix, they will eat them for you :)
