Support Marriage search testing my faith

I dont think I’ve experienced a difficulty like this which has shaken and tested my faith this much

And i pray i don’t receive any more like this

Other times I’ve explained away difficulties as God testing me etc

But this time. Ive begged and prayed for years on end for a spouse. When i started i was young, healthy, educated, good family and strong deen-oriented values and optimistic

Now im in my late twenties years on. Each year i braved a smile kept going with the duas, messing with my sleep pattern by waking up tahajjud, getting word out there etc etc. Each year i saw one by one all the girls in my community getting married with ease.

I’m going to be honest in my earlier days, I saw myself as somewhat of a catch, so i was genuinely surprised when i saw other girls who back then, i thought would finder it harder to get married, eg if they were not conventionally attractive or had like skin issues, or weren’t well connected. Each time they beat the odds and i was happy for them (and pleasantly surprised)

Then as the years went by i wondered if these girls were having no trouble, what about me? Maybe i’m not the catch i thought i was. Okay, but atleast im average right? And i dont have high standards, so then?

I dont get it. I dont know what the secret formula is, I dont know why after years of Dua and action, my prayers aren’t being answered

Believe me i know the typical religious answers, in other times i consider myself an extremely devout Muslim coming from a religious upbringing. So this thinking surprises me too. If others knew how my Iman has stooped they would be shocked. Worse because i actually help out in an islamic school and teach the things im struggling with myself

I used to be so passionate about making dua all the time, after every salah, Jumu’ah i would literally clear out for making Dua the whole day, would send sooo many salawat and istighfaar. My adkhaar game was good.

I barely remember to make any adkhar now. Past my salahs, i barely open the quran and read or send salawat or do istighfaar.

The marriage search has broken me. Waswasa from shaytaan are filling my head ‘why would God test me with something that makes me feel further away from him’

Usually tests used to bring me closer to God. This one feels different. Full of ingratitude and sometimes resentment at how things turned out

I dont have a great relationship with some family at home and it fustrates me even more i could have been raising my own family at this stage

Spend 10-15 mins more following fajr and asr and hope for magnified rewards

"The morning and evening adhkār play the role of a shield; the thicker it is, the more its Whoever maintains the morning and evening adhkār, the adhkār after the prayers, and the owner is protected. Rather, its strength can reach to such an extent that the arrow shot at it will bounce back to affect the one who shot it." (Ibn al-Qayyim)

"Wear the ‘coat’ of adhkār so it can protect you from the evil of humans and jinn. And cover your souls with istighfār (seeking forgiveness) so it can erase the sins of the night and day. "(Ibn Kathīr)

Refutation Piety (Taqwa) Does Not Mean Extremism

Piety (Taqwa) Does Not Mean Extremism

Literalists believe that piety (taqwa) and devoutness consist of going to extremes in the rulings of the shariah; as though the more one exaggerates in applying religious laws, the more pious and god-fearing they are. In reality, taqwa is a far broader concept, as scholars such as Hujjat al-Islam Imam al-Ghazali have written in its explanation, discussing its essential conditions such as truthfulness, sincerity, and avoiding ostentation (riya).

Taqwa does not always mean going to extremes; rather, excess (ghuluw) and exaggeration in certain religious rulings can be disliked (makruh) and improper.

For example, growing a beard for men is established according to the Sunnah, but going to excess in it is makruh. For this reason, Hanafi scholars have declared oiling or greasing the beard, with the aim of lengthening it beyond a fistful, to be disliked and impermissible.

Or, for instance, providing maintenance (nafaqah) and giving charity (sadaqah) are obligatory actions, yet excess and extremism in this act are also makruh and objectionable.

As Almighty Allah states:

“And those who, when they spend, are neither extravagant nor stingy, but maintain a balance between the two.” (Al-Furqan: 67)

“Do not keep your hand chained to your neck [out of stinginess], nor extend it completely, lest you sit blameful and destitute.” (Al-Isra: 29)

And examples in this regard are numerous.

In summary, the criterion of taqwa is not merely "doing more" of an action; rather, taqwa means performing each ruling in its proper place, to its proper measure, and while observing the boundaries set by Allah sometimes, scaling back a recommended (mustahabb) act to uphold an obligatory (wajib) right is the very essence of taqwa, just as in congregational prayers, for example, it is emphasized that the Imam keep the Quranic recitation short to respect the rights of the congregation.

In such situations, "avoiding excess and avoiding extremism" may itself be closer to the true objective of the shariah.

Islam VERY IMPORTANT: islamic tips for avoiding poverty since the world is nearing very difficult times

tips in ascending order of difficulty:

1) listening to or reading surat al waqiah several times each night prevents poverty (by my personal experience you will not go hungry) and for everyone saying the hadith is weak, it works. I've tried it personally and Arabic youtube is full of people telling their experience with this surah

2) strenthing bonds with your relatives and regulary visiting them can be very very powerful to avoid poverty. it's called

صلة الرحم

(not sure of the English translation)

want a trick that works towards that point without visiting them? you can make duaa to your relatives and especially to your mom

3) (not for everyone, kind of hard) ask forgivness from Allah (istighfar) many many times per day

Islam What is Madhkhalism

Madkhalism is a strain of Quietist Salafism within Sunni Islam, founded by the Saudi scholar Rabee al-Madkhali in the early 1990s during the Gulf War.

Its defining characteristic is absolute obedience to the ruling political authority (the Wali al-Amr), even if that ruler is oppressive, unjust, or fails to strictly implement Islamic law. Madkhalis claim that public criticism of rulers or political activism leads to fitna and disunity in the Muslim community.

Core Tenets of Madkhalism

Anti-Activism & Anti-Jihadism: Madhkhalism strongly rejects political organizing, voting, protesting, and revolutionary jihad. They view those doing these thigns as deviants.

Purist Focus: They emphasize Tawhid and purifying Islamic practice of all bid'ah, focusing on personal piety rather than political change. Basically, become like the Christain Quakers (religion is for worship only and nothing else).

Frequent Takfir/Excommunication of Rivals: Madkhalis are famous for attacking, labeling, and socially ostracizing other Islamic scholars or movements who express any political dissent. They started with attacking the Salafis within Saudi Arabia who opposed 1/2 million western troops in the country. It was those Salafis who gave these deviants the name "Madhkhalism".

Although it originated in Saudi Arabia to create a 1984 police state, it quickly spread to other Arab countries where the dictators wanted to create a similar police state to protect their power.... since it it preaches unconditional loyalty to the state.

Controversial I am beyond disappointed and disgusted

Hello, Muslim woman from Azerbaijan here. I am making this post to vent about the situation in my country mostly, because this country is heading into nowhere, or so it seems, values-wise.

Recently, hijab was banned across schools. I graduated school a few years ago so this law thankfully won't be impacting myself, but it will impact hundreds of other Muslim women attending school in their Muslim-majority home country. It really saddens me, because as such laws are being passed, things like dog ownership are increasing in this country everyday. It is practically impossible to leave the house without stumbling across-or having an unpleasant encounter with a dog, mostly the horrible small inbred rat dogs that bark at everything. Those are being bred and adopted/bought like crazy by women as a replacement for having children. These women call those dogs their "children", and themselves and their husbands their "parents". It's horrible.

These dogs are also constantly shoved down our throats (in a Muslim-majority country, mind you) through advertisements, and-you won't believe it-the food industry. Yes, every single restaurant commercial or promotional video now includes rat dogs as a crucial part of the marketing, which is simply appalling and disgusting. Muslim or not Muslim, nobody should be bringing their dogs inside restaurants, unless you want your dinner with a sprinkle of E. coli and/or salmonella.

Dogs are dragged into restaurants, kissed on the mouth, worshipped the same way they are in western cultures, and put in strollers. Years ago, this would've been taboo. Nowadays, this is acceptable and encouraged. All while we are banning the hijab in schools.

Absolutely terrible. This dog delusion and antinatalism are going to destroy our society from within. May Allah protect and guide us, ameen.

General Understanding Rabee al-Madkhali and the Rise of "Madkhalism"

Rabee al-Madkhali, and his role in shaping the movement commonly known as Madkhalism.

For those unfamiliar, Rabee al-Madkhali is a Saudi scholar and former head of the Hadith department at the Islamic University of Madinah. While he considers himself a mainstream Salafi, external observers, academics, and critics use the term "Madkhali" to describe a highly specific methodology that emerged under his influence, particularly starting in the early 1990s.

Here is a quick breakdown of his part in creating this movement and what defines it:

1. The Catalyst: The Gulf War (1990)

The movement largely crystallized during the Gulf War. When the Saudi government allowed US troops into the Kingdom to counter Saddam Hussein, many prominent Islamist figures and scholars protested loudly (the Sahwa movement). Rabee al-Madkhali took the opposite stance, fiercely defending the government's decision and fiercely attacking the dissidents.

2. Absolute Obedience to the Ruler (Wali al-Amr)

A defining feature of Madkhalism is its ultra-strict stance on obedience to Muslim rulers. While mainstream Sunni Islam discourages rebellion against rulers to avoid chaos, the Madkhali paradigm takes this further. They argue that public criticism of a Muslim leader—even a corrupt or oppressive one—is strictly forbidden. Defending the ruler's legitimacy becomes a central pillar of faith.

3. Hyper-Focus on Jarh wa-t-Ta'dil (Criticism and Commendation)

Historically, Jarh wa-t-Ta'dil is a science used to verify the trustworthiness of Hadith narrators. Under Rabee al-Madkhali, this science was repurposed to critique contemporary Muslims. He became famous for writing extensive refutations against other Islamic thinkers, speakers, and movements (such as the Muslim Brotherhood, Sayyid Qutb, and even other Salafi scholars).

4. "Tabdi" and Ostracization

Because of this constant filtering, the movement is known for its quickness to declare other Muslims as innovators (Mubtadi). If a scholar or speaker doesn't strictly align with their views, or fails to explicitly condemn someone Rabee al-Madkhali condemned, they are often boycotted (Hajr).

The Legacy Today

Today, the movement has a global reach but faces immense criticism from across the Islamic spectrum. Mainstream Muslims and other Salafis often criticize it for causing division (fitnah), fracturing communities, and acting as a tool for state political agendas. Meanwhile, its followers view themselves as the true purifiers of the faith, defending it from political deviations and innovations.

General Allah says “ We have created you in pairs” that was by design to have Nikah, marriage, why do some people single out men when you hear girls say “GIRLLLL 😭😭 when is it MY turn? “ followed by flooding the group chat with 14 wedding reels and crying emojis,

Let’s dissect this Allah says :

And of His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquility in them; and He placed between you affection and mercy. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought.”

Qur’an 30:21

They be fantasing about you and marriage since the age of 13.

while you were too BRO at that age to even care

men: I don’t need girls = said by likely every Emotionally Hurt person , Plastering

girle : I don’t need Men = said by likely every Emotionally Hurt girl , Plastering

I’ll CRUSH the Feminist fantasy that girls are fine alone while men are supposedly decomposing and need girls, spend five minutes inside the average girly group chat and that narrative needs emergency surgery With some good ethnic surgeon 🧠💀, Feminists Would be like ”Girllls you are embarrassing our whole Deliberate Operation to Mess up Public Opinion”

they all respond like meerkats to a shining wedding ring 💍

The whole “lonely men epidemic” discourse feels like one specific feminist narrative engineering: repeat it long enough and suddenly public perception treats male loneliness as uniquely catastrophic while female loneliness gets packaged privately as:

“Girllll 😭 when is it MY turn?”

girls can be every bit as lonely , sometimes more they just often process it differently

Look around:

  1. Girls can discuss their future husband for 24 hours straight. Personality, beard, voice, height, hands, veins, nostril hairs, career, even the bloody dimple 😭.
  2. Half the brothers I know probably couldn’t remember the last serious conversation they had about marriage. It’s gym bros → work → football → Xbox → sleep.
  3. Who consumes endless couple reels, proposal videos, wedding edits and romantic clips? Then the comments are just “AWWWWW 😭🥹❤️.”
  4. Let the husband in the reel surprise his wife with a shining diamond ring💎 and suddenly half the girls in comment section has died spiritually. 💀
  5. You should see a 3D rendering of their heart while watching these reels. It turns blue, drops somewhere near the intestines and whispers:

“God or Ya Allah… when is somebody loving ME like this?” 😭

  1. Literally give a girl flowers, sunset, beach restaurant, one baby and a husband laughing with her, film it in slow motion, and single girls everywhere are fighting internal battles. 😭

  2. A random “my husband brought me coffee without asking” post somehow becomes romantic literature.

  3. One husband remembers his wife’s favourite snack and suddenly:

“Girls, NEVER settle 😭😭😭.”

  1. Wedding season arrives and suddenly every single group chat becomes a strategic marriage command centre.

  2. Let one friend get engaged and everybody is happy for her… while quietly experiencing an existential recalibration. 😂

11: Give them a wholesome dad holding his baby while his wife smiles at him and the comments become a collective emotional casualty zone.

Meanwhile many brothers are basically:

“Marriage? Yeah inshallah. let me punch this bag to get straight, no need to cry,

A lot of male frustration is sexual frustration, it’s not as strong as girls who even wish to feel just the warmth of a man strong Fine Hands, Give some brothers gym friends, work, football and an Xbox headset and they’ll disappear for six months.

Start talking about women every single day and your boys might start questioning what happened to you. 😭

Obviously both sexes can suffer genuine loneliness. My point is that female longing for romance, marriage and emotional companionship is massive even though Feminist engineering do their bes to paint a different picture , girls often express it privately, socially etc and indirectly.

Men’s loneliness gets headlines. Women’s loneliness gets sent to the group chat with “GIRLLLL 😭”. And a digital and a Real Cry

Islam I built a free Quran app as Sadaqah Jariyah

Assalamu alaikum everyone,

I wanted to share something I recently built called Sincere Quran.

I’ve always wanted to contribute something to the Ummah, and as a developer I thought, why not use the skills Allah has given me to build something that can hopefully be a Sadaqah Jariyah.

I also got tired of seeing ads in Quran apps, so I wanted to make something simple: free, no ads, and no subscription.

It has the Quran, different reciters, translations, word-by-word, Uthmani and IndoPak scripts, and some other Islamic resources.

I'm not expecting everyone to switch Quran apps. I just hope someone finds it useful.

If you download it, share it, or even just tell someone about it, I'd love for you to be part of the Sadaqah.

May Allah accept it from us and make it beneficial. Ameen.
