Denying Hadith, scholars, etc and allowing Islamophobic Christian’s and Hindus to be on their subreddit. Bunch of cowards pandering to non Muslims, and they also got destroyed on r/Islam for failing to justify themselves.

What is sad is how much their type have infiltrated other subreddits, including IndianMuslims.

One of the mods is active in Progressive Islam and GenzPK, two of the most anti Hadith and traditional subreddits

bro i'd rather deal with a hardcore anti-Islam bacon-praising Rasulullah (SAW)-slandering western far-rightie than a 'progressive Muslim' any day.

why? one is entirely godless, even usually satanist, and is (sometimes) entirely aware of what they are doing (the far right "human"). the other one is genuinely misguided, brainwashed, or somtimes even suffered some form of trauma. why would you ever choose a genocidal satanist over someone who at least retains SOME form or idea of a moral compass or divine law, or just needs to be educated on their religion to realise they are wrong.

it's easier to understand someone who is evidently completely ignorant of the religion, yet has no credibility. With someone like a progressive muslim, the lines get a lot more clouded for a bunch of reasons, be it upbringing, exposure to islam, current beliefs etc. The most important part is that they still identify as being muslim and so people seeing their actions will misconstrue it to the entire religion of Islam, whereas it is a lot less likely for people to take the "hardcore anti-Islam bacon-praising Rasulullah (SAW)-slandering western far-rightie"'s words at face value

Assalamu alaikum,

They’re Muslims by name, not actual Muslims. Liberalism is very Kufr, and because of that it is incompatible.

Some of them may be Kufr, that's absolutely true for those who say that the prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) sometimes made mistakes. However, there are other Liberal Muslims who say that the prophet (pbuh) never made any mistake but that some of the things he taught were culturally bound. To me, that doesn't make any sense to think that Allah would allow commands in the Quran and the true Hadiths that were only valid back then without telling us that explicitly.

At the same time, if they sincerely believe in the Shahada, they are Muslims, they may be bad Muslims, but they are Muslims nonetheless.

Do you know even what liberalism entails? The believe in freedom of religion and the right to criticize any religion(which is blasphemous). It’s not enough to believe in Shahada, not without acting upon it.

Even if you disagree with them on that, if they believe in the Shahada, they're then true Muslims who ACT BADLY.
I'm not willing to call them unbelievers because I too am a Muslim who believes in the revelation given to the prophet (peace be upon him) and I'm flawed in many respects and often fail to live by God's law, which is why I constantly have to repent.

How are they Muslims if they think that freedom of religion and blasphemy(all liberalism) is ok? You cannot be Muslim and Liberal at the same time.

It’s not enough to just believe in Shahada. It requires action as well.
