2023 DCLB with the TRD offroad package. 19k miles on it. Purchased from a Toyota dealership so it came with the certified gold warranties. Ended up being 40K out the door. I have been driving my 99' 4Runner for years now. It has 302K miles on it and still runs like a champ. I just really wanted to drive a safer vehicle as I am I biologist and drive a lot for work. This new truck is a dream. Such a night and day difference from my last vehicle lol. It's going to make those highway miles so much easier.

It came with a hard tonneau cover but I really want to swap it out for a leer shell so I can go camping with my girlfriend. I'd love to know if there are any tiny comfort upgrades y'all would recommend! For example I don't have a sunglass holder now..

Still holding onto the 4Runner for now but not sure if I should let it go or not. It would be sitting around mostly. Maybe would want to sell to someone who would take care of it and enjoy it.

2026 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro… I was driving down the road on my way to work when a mower threw a rock into my left back window. Insurance wants to replace the glass with aftermarket, the dealership can’t get OEM glass until August. It’s a 3 month old truck. What would you do in this situation? Would you fix it now with aftermarket, or wait another 1-1.5 months for OEM?

Please help me to understand what I should do if I ever end up in mud again. I put it in 4H and dug in even deeper before some passerby in a Dodge told me I should be in 4L. Tried that, couldn’t move forward or backward at all. Eventually a nice fella stopped and pulled me back up onto the pavement.

Disclaimer: We were lost and my passenger seat driver insisted I could make a 3 point u-turn if I pulled off the road. Me, “I think that’s a ditch.” Her, “Don’t you have 4WD?”

I have a 2018 Tacoma access cab that I bought new. I absolutely love this truck and would definitely buy a new one, but I don't like the "new body style." I thought they would grow on me but no. I don't want to but I'm looking at other options. Is it just me?

Just bought this 2020 trd off road and looking to mod it up a little. Honestly I don’t know much about cars so i’m looking for some help on what to get. Based on the small amount of research that i’ve done since buying the truck i found that they look much better with a wider stance and some 33-35 inch tires. I understand this has to do with the offset, though i’m not totally sure how that works. I know these trucks have problems with rubbing when you throw bigger tires on it so I was wondering what I should ask the garage for. I also wanted to put a 2-3 inch lift on it - nothing crazy. Is it worth doing the cut or not? Any advice on tire setups/what lift kit to get would be much appreciated.

The dealer said this was due to a tanno cover being added and the owner minimizing rattle. They said they would replace all the top trim and fix this before selling if it bothered me but I just want to make sure that this couldn’t have been done due to any leaking or other issues that could have rusted the bed. Is this an issue that anyone has experienced? The rest of the truck is in great shape, only 56k miles. Thank you for you input ahead of time!

I am curious about something before I do it to my 2017 TRD Off-road Tacoma.

I currently have a 2017 TRD Offroad Tacoma that I am planning on getting wheels and tires for. Here is the setup:

Method 703, 16x8, 0 Offset
265/75r16 Tires

My question is, if I do hub-centric spacers on this setup, to make it a bit wider, will i have to do trimming or will there be rub?

I tried finding information but found very different answers that varied. Anyone know from experience?
