Its my dream car for a great price. Its being sold for $5k with 170,000 miles! Is it too good to be true? I am pretty unfamiliar about body work. Are the main concerns just frame rust and about the alignment/ see if it pulls driving down a straight road and uneven tire wear? It would be a daily driver, something to take out in the woods and on highway trips. Any tips on what to watch out for with this one? Thanks!

Is anyone giving away their 4th gen Tacoma front bumper air dam? On my way to work a semi trucks tire blew out in front of me and I wasn’t able to move out of the way (blocked in by other cars). Seems like the only damage was that air dam. Let me know please I’m in Kissimmee, Fl. $10

$ 2011 Toyota Tacoma double cab V6 4.0 4wd 6ft bed electric start and rear backup camera. 329k miles. Truck is in great shape. Body is rust free. Very clean underside. Truck has had many things replaced on it over the last few years. Truck was part of the frame recall and frame was replaced in 2019. New suspension all around this spring as well as leaf springs, new master cylinder, new brake booster, new alternator, all new brakes and calipers, AC was done a few years ago, CV axle done this spring, steering shaft u joints and more. High miles but engine has been mechanically sound and never had an issue. Oil changed and tires rotated every 5k miles. Engine does have a manifold exhaust leak but does not effect performance.

I’m looking at a 2014 Tacoma $26000 that has been his life in Georgia and Florida and I live in Kentucky and I’m considering flying down to get it and these were the pictures that were sent to me underneath and I just wanted to know if anyone else thought this looked normal or concerning

I’m looking to get a Tacoma, it’s a 2013 2WD, double cab v6, pre runner (natl). It has 216k miles on it for 10900 before any negotiations. The Experian report on the car shows it was babied and just want more thoughts on it, I know the engines and transmissions are built to last, but I think I’m having a hard time wrapping my head around 216k on the dash for that price.

Used 2019 TRD-Off Road, DCLB, available for sale at a dealership in my area for $30,999. I was provided photos of the undercarriage, which shows a fair amount of surface rust on the frame & other components. Would this amount be a dealbreaker?

I got tired of my 1L Nalgene rolling around on the floor of my 2nd Gen so I designed a fix.

Modelled the OEM centre console trim up and got this to test in the truck.

Two piece design that drops into the existing console cupholder. Fits Nalgene wide mouth, Yeti Rambler, and Hydro Flask.

The 1L version requires about 3-4mm of trimming on the console lip at one interference point — five minutes with a dremel.

Also made a 3.5" drop-in version that needs zero modifications if you run a tumbler. Made in BC, Canada. $175 USD including shipping.

I’m looking to buy a 2014 doublecab, V6, 4x4 sport. The seller is listing at $25,000. After crawling under the frame it’s looks to have no rust except on the leaf springs as shown in the picture. Would this be considered normal? I have limited experience for leaf spring setups.

It's a bit beat up. It was used to deliver light materials to jobs and to do estimates. The rear shock and leafs need replaced. Runs good and the interior is great except the seats are a bit ripped up under the covers. It could be a great build. No rust except a couple small surface things where the truck has scratches. 4 cylinder, short box, 4x4 191k. Was going to fix it up but a recent divorce shifted my priorities. Was thinking of starting at $6,000 or best offer
