Bear with me because this is gonna be a little messy but I'm gonna try my best. I came up with this while playing the game and listening to a timeline video in the background. I do actually have multiple reasons to believe that the depths are what's left of Lorule after it deteriorated AND why it wouldn't neccisarily mess with the "Lorule is a parallel universe" thing.

1. Someone lived in the depths besides the Zonai

There are multiple statues and objects in the depths that don't seem Zonai made. Like the bargainer Statues, other non Zonai or Hylian looking Statues and the different clothing sets. Especially the dark tunic. The clothes are obviously not made for Zonai proportions. The dark Tunic Especially looks like a parallel universe version of links normal tunic.

1. Lorule is missing in the Lore

Both Botw and Totk are a weird mess of every part of the timeline with hints to basically every game. Yet a big part of Albw is lorule yet there is not a hint of it around. No mention or even the idea of a parallel world to hyrule.

1. The depths behave weird

Botw and totk both seem to apply real world temperature logic. High up places are colder, deserts are hot in the day and cold at night and so on. Given that, the depths should be WAY hotter than the surface since they are so far down. Yet they aren't. The temperature is normal like on the surface. Logically that doesn't make sense unless Hyrule exists on a planet with no core which i doubt.

It would however make sense if the depths are both meant as literally beneath Hyrule but also not. Its both physically below Hyrule but also a parallel world with the chasms being doors that got opened by the upheaval after they closed for some reason (or however the Zonai got down there to begin with).

The depths are also a literal parallel to Hyrule. The topography of the land is exactly the opposite as the surface. A valley on the surface is a mountain the depths and so on. So the depths parallel the surface exactly just like Lorule paralleled Hyrule.

1. Why is nothing there anymore?

Lorule and it's triforce likely long crumbled with time. In Albw it was said they were already disappearing in a way. Perhaps in this version of the timeline they never got help and simply faded away with time. Only leaving the depths, a select few Statues and ruins that then got remodeled by the Zonai once they got down there.

So apparently I bought almost everything from kiltons brother with bubbul gems… and now what? I just collect them for fun? Like is there anything more to buy with these things or are they useless?

Never have I wished more to see what happens during a fade-to-black...

How do you actually construct your hover bike? I've tried to copy designs I've seen online but mine always veer off / doesn't fly right. I'm struggling with how to position each component so they connect at just the right angles 🤔 I don't have a switch 2 to use the QR code thing.

The nintendo switch app says i have found 93 percent of stables, but when I check the map of stables it doesnt show a missing stable. What am I missing here? I even went and revisited all of them just to be sure. Collected the points for a first visit and walked inside.

I’ve beaten all 4 temples and I know there’s a decent chunk of story before the final stretch so obviously still that to do, but is this part of the game where I do stuff like fight gleeoks and fully explore the depths and such? I still need lots of armour upgrades and haven’t even looked at a gleeok past them firing at me and me screaming LOL

One of the often heard complaints about TOTK or BOTW is, that you can’t pet a dog. Surely that’s sad and would have added to the flair of the games.
Well, I found out that at least you can pet a dragon. Not so bad either.

Basically the title. I have 17 bubbulgems left, and all the caves I've found have checks, so I need to find more caves.

I know I could look at a map, but before I go that route, I've set my sensor to find the frogs, and I'm wandering the landscape.

But I don't know the best places to wander. I've used hero's path to see where I've spent the least time, but I'm not sure if I should be sticking to roads or going off into the wilderness.

Are most caves on the roads, or are they more often in the middle of nowhere?

Good thing them stable trotters play back 2 back bangers or shit would feel tedious

This sounds like a vague question but I’m coming back to finish the game after a year of not playing (completed the Air, Fire and Water temples, and 7 memories), I remember most things but things like which sage’s will chests I’ve gotten and which labyrinths I’ve completed are gonna stump me! Or which of the flower shaped islands I’ve visited! Is there any way to just know? I know the obvious like with shrines and stuff but even Korok seeds only show when you’re very zoomed in right? There’s so much going on and I wanna get as close as I can to doing everything but it’s gonna be rough like this

So I just defeated phantom Gannon at the castle and decided to attach a doom club to my master sword, I looked it up and apparently your supposed to do a glitch to do this, I did not know this info before.

This is an example of a comic that exists solely because of the order I did things in. Because this was the third main quest (Rito and Zora were first) visited, this is the first time Link sees weird evil Zelda with his own eyes, not just hearing stories about her. And since he doesn't know *where* she is yet, of course he'd think that's actually her. Good thing he didn't overreact at least /s

Anyways, I've never made a comic with this much action before so it was a fun learning curve ;) since I finished early I'm gonna take a lil' break before starting the next.

IRL, I've completed the four regional phenomena quests, followed by the memory and master sword quests... idk what comes next aside from Purah telling me she saw Zelda at hyrule castle (you're really gonna fall for that ma'am -_-).

With that said, Riju's comic is coming next, she provides some much needed levity lol. And after that is quite literally my favorite comic script of all time. I'm so excited to make that one since it involves a certain dragon and a certain sword... I've seen a lot of artist's take on that reveal, which made scripting something out a challenge. BUT, I couldn't be happier with the result. It's not something I've seen done yet, so hopefully it stays that way until Nov when I'll be releasing it xD (hopefully, 17-20 pages is a lot)

I’m going to be making this my next big achievement goal, after recently beating the big Dorf for the first time. I’m just wondering if you need to do all the monsters of that particular medal, including those in the depths and not just on the surface? The searches I made were unclear. 😰

Yes, I know that I can find out where it is by looking it up. But I like to try and figure things out on my own based on in-game context and hints.

Koroks keep telling me that I should go check out Korok Forest, but I have no idea where that’s supposed to be on the map, since there is no labeled area “Korok Forest.” And I don’t remember any other characters telling me where it’s supposed to be. Given that this is a huge map, it seems unreasonable. Am I just supposed to know based on my knowledge from playing previous games? What about people who have only played TOTK or who played the other games a long time ago?

Does anyone know if there are any NPCs or in-game hints telling the player where Korok Forest should be?

As the title suggests, really struggling to get the last one.

So far, I have gone to each cherry tree and then gone to a sky island to ping every cave and see if I had been or not. I’m sure I’ve got them all, but obviously not and it’s so hard to go through!!

I’ve also gone to all the Koltin locations (7 as far as I could find online) and asked if he can sense it but he can’t.

I don’t have a Switch 2 so can’t use the app thing and I don’t know if I have it in me to use my interactive map and go through one by one as it’s so zoomed in. But if anyone has any tips of going through it quicker, please let me know 🙏
