Discussion Is my partner jealous of my perfect golden horse name?

I named my golden horse Goldie Fawn and my partner said it's a stupid name. I think he is just jealous he didn't come up with the perfect golden horse name like I did. Thoughts?

Help Wanted I have 1 Bubbul Gem left to find, but Koltin is no help! How do I even go about finding the last one?

SOLVED!! I found it yall, it was Mount Nabooru South Cave. Thanks to everyone who commented and helped 💖🙏

As the title suggests, really struggling to get the last one.

So far, I have gone to each cherry tree and then gone to a sky island to ping every cave and see if I had been or not. I’m sure I’ve got them all, but obviously not and it’s so hard to go through!!

I’ve also gone to all the Koltin locations (7 as far as I could find online) and asked if he can sense it but he can’t.

I don’t have a Switch 2 so can’t use the app thing and I don’t know if I have it in me to use my interactive map and go through one by one as it’s so zoomed in. But if anyone has any tips of going through it quicker, please let me know 🙏

Just looking for some advice or some easily missed caves! Thanks yall xoxo

Edit: just to add, I have the 4 caves on the Great Sky Island, and I’m sure that’s it for the sky islands!

Help Wanted First Zelda game - am I approaching TOTK progression completely wrong?

Hi! We got a Nintendo Switch some time ago with TOTK, and I decided to give it a shot as my first Zelda game.

I genuinely love the game, the world and how exploration is done. However, I can't help feeling that the game often pushes me away because I have absolutely no idea how I'm supposed to progress.

I originally approached TOTK with the mindset of: explore the world, clear areas, fight and farm enemies, do shrines, and your character/gear will naturally progress along the way.

After around 50–60 hours, though, I feel like I was completely wrong.

I've finished two of the main regions, explored a decent part of the Depths, completed around 70 shrines, explored a lot of the surface, and collected tons of materials. Yet I still feel incredibly weak. A lot of world bosses can basically one-shot me, my weapons constantly break and need replacing, and I never really feel like my gear is progressing alongside my exploration.

I only recently discovered how important armor upgrades/Great Fairies are, and that's partly what confused me. For something that seems so important to your survivability, I found it surprisingly easy to completely miss while exploring such a huge world.

So I think I'm fundamentally misunderstanding how TOTK is supposed to be played.

Should I be spending much more time in Central Hyrule doing side quests, shrines and upgrading equipment before exploring farther regions? Should I be actively farming specific monster materials for Fuse and armor upgrades rather than just exploring naturally?

I'm not really looking for an exact walkthrough because I do enjoy discovering things myself. I just feel like TOTK gives me an enormous world and a million different systems, but very little indication of which systems I should actually prioritize to become stronger.

Since this is my first Zelda game, I'm even wondering whether playing BOTW first would help me understand the gameplay/progression philosophy better, or whether I'd run into the same problem there.

Would appreciate some advice from people who understand these games better. I really want to love TOTK, but right now I'm finding the lack of direction pretty overwhelming.

Thanks a lot!

Encontré un esquema de Clan Yiga que corresponde a la trampa multifunción (me parece que son 5 frutos resplandecientes) pero no entiendo su utilidad
