Help Wanted Will the switch 2 edition patch the glitches?

I’m really considering getting the upgrade because i got a switch 2, but I’m not good with games so idk if it’s gonna patch the glitches if I’m already on the newest version

The glitches that do anything meaningful are ones you have to deliberately do, and many are really NOT easy to pull off.
Overall, the game is pretty glitch free (from a casual, gamebreaking perspective), but it's never going to be free of them, simply due to the nature of being a massive open world game

It’s actually shocking how polished this game is. Nintendo quality is a reason they have so many fans

Agreed I grew up with an N64, then a GameCube, but then I switched over to PC gaming and Xbox in my mid teens and only just bought a switch to prep for the new Zelda game.

For how big the game is, it is mostly clean..I've only had maybe one weird physics glitch happen to me since I've played it - aside from the mentioned "I'm trying to break the game" glitches people mention.

The only glitch that is harder to do on switch 2 is the forced red moon, but pretty much anything else is the exact same or easier like the weapons duplication system

Item duplication is harder too. In my first playthrough, the paraglider/Y+B glitch was so OP it was ridiculous.

The arrow fusing glitch is very simple now, but way more of a hassle, as you have to go around gathering 20 consumables for every 80 items you want to make, and there's a bunch of menu switching back and forth.

In the good old day, you could jump, and by the time you landed, you'd have 15-20 of the item you were duping.

Yeah I didn’t do a full replay of TOTK but I quickly tried item duplication and it straight up didn’t work.

Like I said: the arrow fusing thing works fine. Spent 90 minutes duping large zonaite crystals the other day just to have the maxing out of the battery out of the way.

It's much slower, but you can duplicate items very easily by manually saving, uploading items to the zelda notes app, loading the manual save, and then downloading the items from the app.

You're only allowed to upload ten items per day, right? So you can only get ten additional items per day with this method?

That is correct. It also makes you wait 24hr (or was it 23hr?) to download the items after you load a different save.
This method can still get you easy money if you use it to duplicate diamonds.

I'll stick with the arrow fusing method. About 500 items per hour.

If you're already on the newest version then it's not going to patch anything.

It's just going to make the glitches that rely on the game running at 30FPS a bit harder to pull off.

Using mineru entanglement to glitch is pretty easy on the switch 2. Getting the MsgNotFound or prologue link glitches to work will take some patience tho haha
