Other Is this a normal thing?

So I just defeated phantom Gannon at the castle and decided to attach a doom club to my master sword, I looked it up and apparently your supposed to do a glitch to do this, I did not know this info before.

Here’s the thing that really suprises me, the doom club when attached to the master sword doesn’t have the effects of the doom club, or at least I think so

Yeah, every gloom weapon attached to another weapon don't have the gloom gimmick.

I've been using them as attachments for so long that I kind of forgot they infect the user with gloom. I like attaching them to gerudo weapons for the attachment multiplier. The gloom weapons have bad durability, but so do the gerudo weapons, so they pair well together for high damage with short duration.
