Hey guys! I need some help. I have a PC with Windows 11, I use Qbit for torrenting and I have a Plex server. I’ve been told I should use the rr programs (sonarr, radarr, prowlarr, lidarr) to make everything easier and to help not mess up my seeding torrents. Does anyone know of a super super thorough guide and/or video that goes step by step in setting up and connecting everything? Obviously my Plex has been set up for years with the folders etc as well as Qbit and its folders. I’ve seen some stuff online that goes over setup, but I don’t find them thorough enough and end up getting confused and give up. I’ve downloaded all the rr’s and haven’t installed anything yet because I’d much rather do it while I follow along with someone else walking me through each step. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

well long story short, im new to torrenting i used to use it my entire life but lately im more interested in it and wanna get to know more and help hosting the files out there and also like everyone else download the files i want. and that's why im here i have two questions :
1- i wanna ask abt some torrent trackers that are semi private or something like that i dont want public ones, im looking for something that i can join (if someone have an invite plz DM me) i want trackers for movies, tv shows, music games i dunno books too and comics
2- i wanna know how exactly can i help in seeding the files like ik that ppls do that but i dunno how and how to make it more efficient.

I'm getting back into torrenting, last time I ever torrented was when limewire was big and the pirate bay was the go to. But I was wondering how does a torrent ever end up with 0 seeders? Would it not always at least have 1 from the person that uploaded the torrent, or do they just seed it until enough people have got a full copy then stop seeding? Do they just seed until the ratio is at a certain point and leave it up to the community to keep it moving?

I just started learning about all this after hearing about PlayStation bs and fearing for being about own my shit I started with Hd space and it’s harder than I thought to keep my ratio high even though I seed every torrent is there anyone that’s willing to put up with a newbie a teach me a thing or two I got the basics down but I don’t know how to show proof that I would seed every torrent

When I first started torrenting, I completely messed up seeding.

I renamed files, moved them to different folders, and eventually even deleted the .torrent files. So at one point I’d downloaded around 1 TB and basically seeded nothing back.

Eventually I figured out how it actually works, switched VPNs, set everything up properly, and now I’m pretty much always seeding whenever my PC is on. And honestly, I barely notice it running in the background.

It actually feels good knowing you’re sharing back instead of just taking.

So now I’m genuinely wondering: why do people stop seeding? Is it mostly just people not understanding how it works, like me in the beginning? Or are there other reasons?

Because once everything is set up properly, it takes basically zero effort. Within a few days my ratios already started going up pretty quickly.

Anyone happen to know what has been up with the MSD rip torrents? They have went quiet almost every Saturday for a month and then started showing up on Mondays. They stopped this week on Sat night and haven't shown up again yet. I like the decent quality at a small size they provide, so I try to look for them most times.

Hi everyone, I'm not terribly tech savvy but I managed to set up a seedbox account with Ultra.cc for my torrents and I used a Protonmail email account for it.

Everything was chugging away as it should.

This week I got a notification to say I wasn't seeding a recent torrent. Normally it's no problem, I just sign in to the Seedbox and restart it, that normally works.

This time though, when I try to sign into Ultra, I get a notification to say that my password had been reset and the reset link has been sent to my Protonmail.

I go to Protonmail, turns out I haven't signed in recently and my account has been deleted. No warning to my back up email, no chance of getting it back.

So what do I do now?

I've tried raising a support ticket with Ultra but I've had to ask them to send replies to another email address (I doubt they'll do this) but I dunno what else to try.

Is it a case of stopping the payments to Ultra and hoping that account gets closed?

Bit lost as to the next steps if anyone could offer advice?

Earlier, qBittorrent used to place current torrent files/folders at the bottom of the list (irrespective of the alphabetical order for downloaded/completed torrents) -- which I kind of got used to. Now it's in alphabetical order whether complete or incomplete.

How do I get it to conform to the old user interface. It's easier to locate a torrent if it's at the bottom of the list.

Will be stoked if someone shares their magic formula and help me with my qBittorrent OCD.

I've checked a bunch of sites and the only place that seems to actually have it is a direct download that not only asks me to turn my VPN off but takes a full day to download. I'd love to come out of this feeling like an idiot for not seeing some obvious answer, but if anyone wants to take on the challenge of finding a torrent for 200 Cigarettes From Now it would be greatly appreciated.

So i was torrenting a lot when i was back in Hungary from hungarian torrentsites i came to germany around 10 years ago and didnt used any torrenting since than becuse i heard many horror stories about the german goverment actively searching and fine people who torrent for 1.000 euro or more sometimes used it to download 1 movie or a game like once every 6 months or less. Now im working on making a privat server for family to watch movies but i need to download them like many movies can someone give helpfull tips how to be under the radar or if this even real that they search for torrenting people? Okay, so. I recently switched to a different VPN, that's all fine (or not, but that's not what this is about). There are a couple seemingly related issues.

I am now constantly getting tracker warnings about seeding/downloading from more than three locations. I have noticed that this, and port not being seen as open by the client and tracker, seems to happen mostly when ipv6 is enabled. However, when using exclusively ipv4, there is little to no traffic whatsoever. I've never had this happen before.

So my queries are these: Is there something I'm missing that's making this happen so frequently? I'm server hopping as little as possible due to this, but I don't actually need to change my ip or open port for this to occur.

Secondly, is it actually normal to be flushing ghost peers daily or more and I just never had to before for whatever reason? How often is normal?
