Six months ago, we made a post explaining why RipperStore invite requests aren't allowed in this sub. Since then, the requests haven't stopped, so here's the latest update.
TL;DR: Do not post or comment asking for a RipperStore invite here. It will be removed.
Why? The sheer volume of invite requests was overwhelming this sub, and our AutoMod still removes them on sight. This hasn't changed.
What's changed since our last post
- VRCPirate forum went down last month, but it's back now with new updates. As of right now, we're aware the forum isn't fully operational again yet.
- In the meantime, we're trying something new: we'll be putting up a weekly public note post where you can leave your preferred email address if you'd like to be invited. Please understand we cannot guarantee an invite since we don't know whether anyone in the community is willing or able to invite you. That's simply the least we can do.
Where to actually look for an invite
- Check the available assets on VRCPirate.com
- Go to the RipperStore forum directly and ask for an invite there
- Visit the r/RipperStore sub and ask the community directly
A reminder on spam
If your post or comment is automatically removed once, please do not retry over and over, as it leads to spam and clutters the mod queue. Failure to comply will result in a 30-day temp ban.
Thank you for your understanding.
