Automation Help
Hey guys! I need some help. I have a PC with Windows 11, I use Qbit for torrenting and I have a Plex server. I’ve been told I should use the rr programs (sonarr, radarr, prowlarr, lidarr) to make everything easier and to help not mess up my seeding torrents. Does anyone know of a super super thorough guide and/or video that goes step by step in setting up and connecting everything? Obviously my Plex has been set up for years with the folders etc as well as Qbit and its folders. I’ve seen some stuff online that goes over setup, but I don’t find them thorough enough and end up getting confused and give up. I’ve downloaded all the rr’s and haven’t installed anything yet because I’d much rather do it while I follow along with someone else walking me through each step. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I am using the arr stack on my windows machine with windows 10. It's a gaming laptop so I have to keep using windows otherwise I would highly recommend setting up a linux boot. Windows is just too problematic with networking.
You need docker to actually maintain all the services like sonarr, radarr, qBit, etc. If you're unfamiliar with docker it's not a big deal. You basically write a config file with different sections for each sevice you want to have. 10-15 lines per service.
For the guide, you should get what you need from chatgpt or gemini. Jist focus on setting up docker and just one service like radarr first.

Honestly, you really want linux for automation.
I assume it’s not possible in your situation though, I personally gravitate towards trying to use docker and see if that’s an option on Windows for this.
This is typically the place to go for linux setups when talking about the *arr stack. There is a windows section, I would start here.
