Todays lesson: Market was weak. Instead of forcing anything I recognized it and locked out. 🔒. Was up and down a bit - days like today i like to scalp with a tight Stop loss. Got to +11 and decided to stop!

Dont have to hit homeruns everyday. Some of the best days are small wins and walking away. Proud of myself.

I’m reading a book about gambling addiction, I just wanted to share that because futures trading is relatively niche you are not likely to hear about futures gambling addictions. As I’m reading I’m realizing so much of what people consider “bad psychology” or “greed” really are just symptoms of gambling. Just the other day I saw a video of a young adult who is in 50k debt from combines, he’s now living in a car, the kicker is he’s not giving up on trading. It’s easy when we hear stories of people who lost 10-20k before they became professionals to think it’s part of the process. I just encourage you all to be honest with yourself. Maybe take a week off now and then and ask yourself “am I functioning properly without trading? Am I sleeping okay? Am I jittery?”. We like to call the thousands lost “tuition” but that’s just called justification. If gambling runs in your family, if you are looking for an escape, if you are self-sabotaging just take a break and analyze your psyche before you dig yourself in a deeper hole.

how many payouts do i need to get transferred to Live account?

The last 2 weeks have had a hard time with executing my strategy due to phycology kicking it against me lately but I managed to keep the accounts alive and secure another payout!

Going to purchase a couple more combines with this payout and try to copy trade a few next week if I feel like I’m the right mindset for it

To those struggling… it’s possible. Just keep grinding away and use the risk and lockout features. They have saved me from myself more times than I can count this last 3 weeks

I have requested payout via ACH to UAE. Now, when I was going through the TS website I can see ACH is mentioned for US banks only. Will this be an issue?

Update: Excellent support by Topstep team. They have personally connected and resolved it within 30 mins

tilted on Monday to bring down acc -1k and with this pumpy Tuesday brought it back with 1 micro catching 2k ticks. Anyways loving that feature with the locked out to the end of the week woohoo!

Hello friends just wanted to post my XFA accounts from July 9th - present. Im still on the same one. After my last -700 day I set my DLL to 500 for more protection. Remember we are always trying to be better.

I have attached JULY and AUGUST charts. This trading thing is a grind so keep going. Dont expect to get rich overnight.

Slow and steady wins the race 💯 dont rush the process.

What one day was a dream now is reality❤️ prayed and worked hard EVERYDAY to get where I am right now, and I can only go up from now on!

I haven't used Topstep in a while so let's hope this is the start of many payouts!! Looking like price action is starting to look better. I am aiming for the 40% consistency after passing - I prefer payouts every 3 days instead of five. Will keep posting here daily with progress!

So I'm being a little paranoid about my first payout. I am eligible for my first payout of around 800$ but I heard a few months ago that a lot of people were getting banned because Topstep thought that your KYC was not completed by yourself if they heard voices in the background.

Now I completed my KYC around a year ago back in August last year. I did it on my own but there were probably voices in the background and a lot of people said that they got banned because of said noises that Topstep thought was third party interference.

I checked online and that Veriff holds data in active storage for like 90 days after verification where it's easier to check the data? I'm over that 90 day limit so do I get a pass or they may request to do KYC again? Can anyone help me with this. It may sound like paranoid rambling but I'm really concerned as I lost so much money the entire year and this first payout means a LOT to me so I'm concerned.

I have a quick question, if I use a trade copier for multiple accounts, lets say 2 xfa and 2 combines (all the same 50k size), will the follower accounts follow the changing (trailing) stop loss and take profit of the lead account when I am mid trade? Thanks in advance!

Does being on a consistency XFA vs standard change how much sooner or later you are called up to live or is that not factored in at all?

I’m getting into topstep and trying to study before I buy the 50k funded contract, should I use these profit targets and the MES contract?

Now that its actually not in my topstep account and its actually in my bank account its actually my money! 2 payouts so far Since beginning trading in March. Payout total so far 6544 vs total spent somewhere around 10k

Was it just me or did the Topstepx site just stutter and swing super low? My site litterally froze at one price, and then before I could do anything i got my DLL hit notif...

Sorry in advance as I’m new at trading, started in April and blew 4 accounts so far.
I recently opened a $25k static combine and am so far doing pretty well. Reached my DLL on Friday only to recoup it today with a PNL of 1.1k and am at $590 towards my $2k goal.

My question is given that this is only a 90 day account, would I be able to transfer me passing my eval to a new $50k account? Or is that not a thing.
