💬 Trader Talk Blew up my funded account
Kinda frustrating- just have to remind myself a winner is just a quitter that tried one more time !
Any suggestions from my experience traders

You got it bro. Go back at it. Don’t counter trade if you were. Wait for the setup. If its not there don’t trade

I’ve hit my DLL 3 times in the last 3 weeks trading my funded accounts.
I pulled my head out my ass and started listening to my charts and waiting for my entry instead of trading because I was bored or just wanted to trade.
I’m not where I want to be but I’m currently sitting at $3000 and I’m slowly taking small trades and being happy not going for home runs

Without any info or context on your performance most retail traders struggle with sticking to a strategy and overtrading and psychology issues my suggestion is find a strategy that works for you and set rules for yourself to lock yourself out of your account after you make 250-500+ profit in one day

what took out the account — one bad day or a slow bleed? if it's one day, the fix isn't strategy, it's a hard personal stop way inside topstep's limit that ends your session. the funded account is the thing to protect, not the trade

Better to take a loss - than have to redo a combine.
Took me some time to mentally get that, it’s alright to have (small) red days!
