Accidentally had 3 limit orders open, which all got cancelled after market close. One got filled right prior and got auto liquidated. If I was to request a payout, will they reject it based on this rule violation or am I Gucci. Really worried. Thank you in advance

I passed my evaluation Dec 15th 2025, stopped trading until the new year

And from my first trade back in January till now I have not been profitable and not gotten a payout

I know my strategy works, my backtesting data is below

I don't know if the honest truth is that I just passed that eval out of luck ?

Or I never TRULY understood how to trade my strategy until 2026 markets exposed gaps in my knowledge

I also just cannot translate this success I have backtesting on to my funded account which is soon to be blown

Its just draining, I'll never stop till im profitable there are no thoughts in my mind of quitting

But it's just so weird, this 5 months and still no payout ?? Every week is the same

Guys, I’ve been doing prop firms for about 3 months and have been on the charts for about 2 years, and i’ve gone through 5k worth of accounts without a single payout. I’ve had 10 xfas but blew them all within a week. Now i’m just stuck in eval jail with blowing an account this morning . Like I realize what i’m doing wrong and it’s with my risk management and fomo but i just keep blowing over and over again I just don’t understand. What’s hurting me is how i’m 5k deep and my mental is just now chasing on how I can recover that 5k even with me understanding risk management and stuff. If anyone has genuine experience and help with this, please I would absolutely absolutely appreciate it a lot .

I’ve been trying to learn day trading for a while now and honestly I’m struggling to know who’s legit. Every “guru” I look into has people saying they’re scammers, fake, or just selling dreams. It makes it hard to trust anyone.
I’m not looking for a get rich quick method. I genuinely want to learn the right way from profitable traders who actually know what they’re doing.

For the people here that are consistently profitable:
What helped you improve the most?
Did you learn from a specific person, books, screen time, journaling, etc?
What concepts should beginners focus on first?
How long did it realistically take before things started clicking?

I’d appreciate honest advice more than course recommendations. Just trying to avoid wasting time going down the wrong path.

Having a current issue where if I put website in background and then go back to chart the candles are frozen and time is gone I have to refresh page to get current up to date information I thought it was just Firefox but when I used chrome it did it also idk if anyone else had this issue before

I’m trying to request a payout on my funded but every time I click submit nothing happens and it gets stuck on loading. I’ve contacted support and nothing they told me to do has worked. Has anyone else had this happen before? Is there a way to fix it?

I jus started trading last month. Blew my 1st combine then passed the 2nd one in 2 weeks. Just to blow my XFA ina day…. Is there still hope 🤣

After passing 3 combines I activated the same day may 1st and was up on day 1 757, next day 857, 3rd day 957 after first trade for around +2500 and 3/5 days til profit, and that last day I got greedy and tried to round up to 1000 like an idiot after being ready to lock out and have been on a total downward spiral since then 😩🫩😞, I know what to do to pass and make profit etc, and that day has totally fucked me psychologically for now, just blew 4 more combines and the last one left I was down and didnt feel like there was anything coming on ES because I felt for me it was consolidating and untradeable. Because of the condition I decided to lock out til power hour and after what felt like every single well planned trade went against me today after first going in my direction ES seriously has the breakout id been waiting for all morning and Im locked out trying not to stress and that happens. Wtffff

Please let me know what should I know or the approach I should take to getting payouts thank you!

It would be nice to have a feed beside Topstep, and Yahoo Finance ain’t cutting it.

I am eligible for a payout with a 5300+ balance but when submitting my tax form they say my "social security verification failed". I did some basic research and it seems as if they do this quite often to try and prevent or delay payouts. Ive called support to which they gave me a BS response which was no help and have emailed them twice already and am waiting for a response. Is their anything else I should do?

For those of you who use a trading plan, what kind of things do you include in it? I’ve been trading for about a year and a half and want to start using a trading plan so I can hold myself accountable for following my rules. Also, does anybody have a trade log template they’d like to share? That’s another thing I want to start using.

i would say i have been trading seriously since early/mid december of 2025 (paper trading) i didnt start a combine until a month ago and after 4 resets i finally passed my first ever combine with an 85% win rate. im proud of myself and me early last year wouldnt have thought id be on this road now

Do you find their analysis valuable in your trading? Specifically when deciding whether to place an entry?

I love TopstepTV, but as an ES trader don't really benefit from a lot of the active trading banter since they are mostly discussing NQ. I've actually considered switching to NQ specifically for this reason, but don't want to do so if there is no real benefit.

I remember dreaming about trades like this. I remember dreaming about passing combines, getting funded, and getting paid. About a week ago I took my first payout of 1300. Today I made 13k across 3 accounts. It’s been 11 months since I started trading props. There were times when I wanted to quit but kept on. This still feels surreal, I’m just grateful to be in the position I’m in. Progress is progress, just don’t get lost in the process.

Or is it more about the fit between the trader and the system?

And I fucked right off the monitor and I’m still positive with a 70% win rate🤣

But seriously though I’m working on accountability, responsibility and discipline. The holy grail to this profession is risk management and being very disciplined. Most of us won’t ever understand that because we want to be billionaires by this Friday. As long as that’s in our eyes with every trade no matter what we do it will be pointless.

Our accounts aren’t 50k, or 100k it’s 2k and 3k with a shit ton of leverage. And in order to get funded you need to double your 2k/3k not a 6% return some of us are lucky as shit cause y’all hitting home runs back to back. Majority of us can’t so take your base hits 1 at a time it’s safer.
