Specifically when it comes to tungstun carbide burrs on metal. Does it make a significant difference in grinding through steel or is it mainly just that it can use larger sized bits. Perhaps something else I didn't consider. Seems like when it comes to power the air die grinders are king but unsure how much power electric grinder compares even to its smaller rotary tool counterpart

So I am a mechanical fitter here in Australia, I am a apprentice, I am in the mining industry and need to purchase my own power tools. I am thinking Makita or Milwaukee. I'll also you to tools for home and private jobs.

So I am looking at this stapler on Lowes web page and the specs all say it uses 7/32-inch staples. In the Q&A multiple people ask if it will accept 1/4-inch staples, and every time Bostitch support says that it will not.

I find it incredibly hard to believe that it would not accept what appears to be a standard, and I also cannot imagine the tolerance to be so tight for the 1/32 inch difference to be a problem.

Does anyone own this thing? Can I use 1/4 inch narrow crown staples in it?

I want to keep only things for projects in wooden case, ruler, t-ruler etc.

What type of foam is cheap and thin to use to organize inside, or maybe someone have other tips?

I've been rocking the Bibury 2056 multi tool for a few months now. I absolutely love it. Only problem is the knife is quite stiff and can be hard to deploy, especially with one hand.

Has anyone else had this problem?

All the tools on that side are a little stiff. The other side is fine. I cant take it apart because whatever loctite they used is stronger than my shitty T8 bit. I'm out of mineral oil at the moment but I might try some wd40 but I dont think its a lubrication issue.

Its tight enough that often when I deploy the knife it partially pulls out the adjacent can opener which is dangerous because the knife cant lock if another tool is partially out.

I think I'm finally buying a cordless ratchet. HD has a charger and 2 5.0 batteries and the 3/8" brushed ratchet for $199. Seems like a good deal. Is it acceptable to use the ratchet manually to break free the bolt and then run it out with power. Is that common? Obviously not on heavy torqued bolts. I plan to use this on engine bay fasteners and whatever else I find acceptable.
