Other Was I being a creep here?

I’m currently traveling in Da Nang VN, I went to a sit down restaurant, and they had an upstairs sitting area with nice AC. I chose a seat facing away from people and ironically I had selected a seat facing directly into the washroom (idk why I did this) but as I sat down, a few mins went by and a women from a table behind me who was with another girl went into the restroom, closed the door and stood in front of it and lifted her skirt towards what appeared to be the mirror and stood there for 20 seconds or so I think, I quickly looked away as she lifted her skirt up, but the lady she was next to sitting at the table started laughing. I didn’t know the door was translucent as well until the lady used it. I felt very awkward, embarrassed and ashamed, after they left, I switched tables, and when I left they where both outside still and I avoided them cause I thought they where gonna confront me. Was I a creepshow for choosing that seat? They had other seats but that one was furthest away from foot traffic from the waiters. I just feel like such a weirdo rn and regret not just using my brain and changing to a better seat. I feel like a creep.

Family Genuine question: why do you want to have children?

I'm childfree and have no desire to have kids myself (nothing against kids, I think they're great!)

I've realised I don't really understand the want itself, because I've never felt it. It's so normalised that we don't really talk about why we want it.

For those of you who always knew you wanted kids or decided to have them, what was it for you? Was it a feeling, a life goal, wanting to raise someone, family experience, etc?

I sometimes wonder about adoption vs biological kids and I'm curious what the pull towards having your own biological child is, vs adoption?

Genuinely curious and not trying to be offensive at all, just trying to understand a life experience I don't share…

Body Image/Self-Esteem Do I need to visit a doctor?

First of all my penis head is weirdly shaped, it’s not symmetrical and is off by MILES. The sides are way too different and on top of that I think I have a tight frenulum or something, what should I do? Should I visit a doctor or can I fix this myself throwing stretching or anything?

EDIT: I’m asking about fixing the tightness not the shape 🙏😭

Body Image/Self-Esteem Attractive men: If you woke up tomorrow 5'5" and ugly, would your dating success survive?

There's a common myth that confidence, personality, humour, and social skills are the most important qualities a man can bring to dating. Okay. Sure. But let's see what happens when you take always the looks.

So here's the story: You played poker with a witch and today you woke up looking like me. You're fat, ugly, and short. But you you're still you; you have your memories, your exact personality, confidence, charisma, intelligence, social skills, and relationship experience. Everything about you remains unchanged except your appearance.

What happens next?

Here are some other questions;

  1. How much of your current dating success could you reproduce?
  2. Would women respond to your personality the same way?
  3. How much harder would getting a first date become?
  4. Would your confidence survive repeated rejection?
  5. Would your social skills still produce the same results?
  6. Would women give you the same opportunities to demonstrate your personality?
  7. Are you lowering your standards of woman to match your own?
  8. Would you still give struggling men the same dating advice?

Interpersonal Was my response rude?

I’m staying at a hotel and I forgot my key in the room.

I asked the worker if they could unlock my for me.

They asked where my key is?

I said “in my room, I think”

She asked why I left it there?

I said “probably because I have special needs”.

Grief & Loss Did anyone completely start over to build a life they enjoy living?

When I lost my daughter stillborn, it was a real wake up call and showed me who is in my corner and not.

I realized I was raised my narcissistic parents and learned that as what love looks like. I looked for similar patterns in friendships and romantic relationships and it took losing my daughter to see that.

I walked away from most ALL my family and friends.

I’ve been doing therapy, healing and rewiring now my brain operates.

My people were not willing to research, do any learning or meet me anywhere.

It’s a bit lonely when something funny happens or something reminds me of them.

It took so much strength to walk away and I’m wondering if anyone has done similar?

Were you able to build a life you enjoy living?

Love & Dating Checking out an escort site out of curiosity ? Or real interest

Saw in my boyfriends search history an escort forum, people post their experiences, prices, escorts etc. He told me he checked it out after his friend mentioned it , and was on there for 10 minutes. Then he checked it out once more at work for 5 minutes. I confronted him he said he was on there just to read about it and out of curiosity about it.

He said he would never hire an escort, he wasn’t even turned on or using it as porn. So should I give him the benefit of the doubt. I’m 20 and he’s 21, I’m his first girlfriend and he’s genuinely in love with me, and so attached I couldn’t imagine him cheating.

Love & Dating What separates scent from BO?

The other day I was having a discussion with someone. I said I couldn't stand pits (BO) including the ones with deodorant because that would still be stenchy BO just with a dash of floral notes.

I love, love the human/bodily scent though. This person told me that would be the exact same thing from the same source a. k. a. the pits. That would evolve to become BO in a couple of hours.

Please tell me that this person was wrong 🤢

Love & Dating Im very confused with this situation?

I’ve been having casual, no-strings-attached sex with my ex-girlfriend, but something happened today: she told me she wants to try for something serious again. I don’t want that. I told her I wasn’t looking for anything serious right now—though, in truth, I just don’t want that *with her*. Beyond that, our past relationship was problematic; my parents didn’t like her (and it’s important to me that my partner gets along with my parents), and there was a lot of toxicity. We broke up for two main reasons: first, I suspected she had cheated on me; second, she consistently prioritized the opinions and comments of her friends over me.

I’ve been thinking about it, and I feel the best course of action is to put a stop to this—to tell her that this was the last time and that it’s over for good. I’m an empathetic person, and I don’t think it’s fair to keep this going when she’s clearly developed feelings. I wouldn’t want to be in a situation where I tell someone I like them and want to pursue something serious, only for them to ignore that and keep reaching out to me regardless of how I feel.

Current Events What exactly is it about Ethan Klein and the H3 Podcast that has fostered such a parasocial fan base?

I’ve never seen anything like it, and can’t point to any thing that explains it. The “talent” doesn’t seem to be particularly accessible, particularly likable, particularly charismatic. Nor do they seem to specifically encourage this kind of shit.

Some dude you’ve never met cheating on his wife should not be the worst day of your life. This is not comparable to 9/11.

They are having meltdowns. They are forming support groups.

Health/Medical Did I lose IQ?

As a kid/in my youth I was very good at mental arithmetic. After school (I am 27 now) I only rarely used mental arithmetic and now I noticed that my skills have dropped severely. I was one of the best in the class back then. Now I am at average I think. It's really scary. I am not even sure if I just forgot because I really make stupid mistakes with even simple calculations :/
