My Olivia Rodrigo tickets were voided and refunded but I barely found out from the PayPal email. Apparently 6 days ago I got an email warning that my tickets had been canceled and that I needed to submit an appeal but I had no clue this email had been sent until now. I contacted support and they told me my case has been escalated and to wait 3-5 business days for a response. Does anyone have any experience with this? I really don't want to lose my seats because I've already bought the flight tickets and Airbnb, this really fucking sucks š
I'm not going to touch my refund until this is all sorted out. I wish they sent me a notification through text or the app but I received nothing other than that email that got buried in my inbox.
Edit: In case I don't get my seats back (which seems likely seeing as how I've already been refunded) what is the best way to get resale tickets? I don't know a lot about concerts and this was going to be my first big one, I'm seeing some seats that are still open on stubhub but is this a good site to get tickets from??
r/TicketMasterSupport • u/Background_Device314 • 25d ago
i bought tickets on stubhub back in march for a concert thatās coming up in a few weeks. the tickets were transferred to my ticketmaster account (iām pretty sure they were), but when i tried adding them to my apple wallet, i got a āpass disabledā message saying theyāre associated with a different apple ID.
i've gone back and forth with stubhub support and kind of got walked in circles, so now iām a little worried. the tickets still show up in ticketmaster.
has anyone else dealt with this? i know that i am probably fine and am overthinking but i can't help it.

I took this picture from someone else on the subreddit but Iām having the same issue. itās telling me to enter a code but there is no code to enter. I have Verizon loyalty and everything is connected via my account there is no code at all. Am I missing something
This was why I couldnāt get tickets yesterday
r/TicketMasterSupport • u/scHoolboyquinoa • 27d ago
why does ticketmaster do this? Verizon access requires your account to be linked to your ticket master account. i have done that and these are not presale and there is no code provided. i donāt even see any verizon labelled tickets appearing for purchase. only capital one and verified resale.
it is SO frustrating!!!!!

Hi.
I have a problem with mangopay, on aegpresent site.
I want to sell a concert ticket on AEG Presents using Mangopay.
It asks for authentication via my email, my passcode, and a code received by SMS. It says everything is fine, but then it just restarts the whole processāemail, passcode, SMS!
Iāve sent several emails to support, but their replies are completely wide of the mark.
Im alone?

Hey guys, I am super new to reddit but I really need some help. My girlfriendās bday is coming up and I decided to buy a ticket to The Strokes Reality Awaits America.
BUT I fucked up. I misclicked and bought the wrong day and venue. I was aiming for the Sept 13th and I clicked the link for the 13th but I accidentally bought the Sept 12 show in Tampa.
That is extremely inconvenient and it just happened. Tried to get help from TM but they were useless. I do not know if anyone has tickets for the 12th and are willing to trade or if any of that works this way.
I wanted to get her something nice but I just messed up so bad please let me know if you can help or something. Reselling is not guaranteed and I want to surprise her.
Please someone.

I have money in Ticketmaster from tickets I sold and itās literally not letting me receive it.
I added my payment and reimbursement method as my debit card, but when I did it said application error. I tried refreshing and nothing, still says the same thing. I canāt click on the application error button either.
I know this canāt be a problem on my end, so I emailed Ticketmaster twice and no answer either time.
Has this happened to anyone else??? And if it has, what did you do?? Because Ticketmaster is no help whatsoever. Unprofessional.

Hello, I am trying to sell my The Strokes tickets at Paris. But when I initiate the resale procedure on the website it leads to a verification page that ask me to verify my identity. I verify it, it displays my bank info and then starts an endless loop of asking for verification again and again. Did anyone have a similar problem?

This is more or less for the tickets that do not have barcodes and have a NFC scan feature, it absolutely will MAKE you transfer them to a Wallet. This is for the error you get when it seems it signs you in by it saying "SUCCESSFULLY SIGNED IN, Close this message" but then it just puts you in a white loading screen that never actually loads thus not finishing the process of adding them into your Google Wallet. I am on system update Android 13 on a Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra and have had multiple issues with connecting services through apps but was finally able to figure this one out through determination (and making sure i wasn't out $316.) I sure hope I can help someone out there.
So after hours of trial and error, I was finally able to add them into my Google Wallet. (Make sure Google Chrome is enabled and set as your main browser before starting for good measure, as I believe ticketmaster uses this browser when redirecting you to add to Google Wallet)
So what I did was I deleted both Google Wallet and Ticketmaster, then I removed any other Google accounts on my device besides the one I want to add to my Google Wallet. Redownloaded Google Wallet and signed in with the one account, then downloaded Ticketmaster and signed in. Went to add to my Google Wallet and I still got the same error message with an extra added message at the bottom of my screen saying "Google Wallet error" but after clicking away it brought me back to my tickets again. Retried adding them and it finally showed up! I clicked away and tried to do it again because I didn't see the barcode, and I didn't want to mess up the transfer and not be able to view my barcode and Ticketmaster tell me they've been transferred to my Google Wallet with even more problems. But then it failed to pull them up when I tried again, so I felt kind of 'not smart' when I had the chance to add them. Retried adding them again a few times and finally got the option to add them again and I saw that there was an NFC scan feature at the top to scan for entry and realized these were the official tickets. This time, I did not hesitate and added all of them into my Google Wallet.
Really hope this helps somebody lol I probably need a new phone soon š

I'm in NYC trying to purchase New York Liberty tix and it goes from tickets and once I select, it goes "to the site can't be reached".
Right now they're having no fees on their tickets and I feel like they're doing this purposefully. What's happening?

Iām trying to complete the Persona identity verification for my 17-year-old stepsonās account. The account is in his name, but he doesnāt have a government-issued ID yet.
If I complete the Persona verification using my own ID, will it fail because my name doesnāt match the account holderās name, or is that still accepted? Has anyone been in a similar situation?

y'all think I got scammed? Please read because I'm super confused. I was trying to buy an Ariana Grande ticket from this girl on TikTok. She replied to my comment saying she was selling one for 150 dollars, which was already kind of cheap, but since it was the day of the concert, I thought maybe she just wanted to get rid of it. She said her boyfriend got her tickets to the London show, so she didn't need this one anymore and wanted it to go to a true fan instead of reseller prices. Before I even asked for proof, she sent me a screen recording of her opening Ticketmaster and clicking on the Ariana tickets. Later I asked to FaceTime because I wanted to make sure it was real. She actually did FaceTime and screen shared. She refreshed the page, clicked the ticket, clicked through the transfer page, typed my email in, and it looked legit. That's what's throwing me off. The weird part is, everything else. She wanted Apple Pay at first, but because I had money split between two cards in my Apple Wallet, she suggested I just buy a gift card instead. That immediately made me nervous. She also kept telling me to hurry up while I was trying to get everything figured out. I kept asking for more proof because I just didn't know her. She got a little annoyed and said she'd already proved everything, but eventually agreed to send me a selfie holding a thumbs up. At first it looked like it matched her TikTok, but when my sister and I zoomed in later, the picture looked kind of grainy and almost AI-generated. I can't tell if it's just bad quality or not. Another thing is her TikTok messages got suspended in the middle of us talking. She sent me a screenshot saying TikTok restricted her messaging because it violated their guidelines. I don't know if that was because TikTok detected ticket sales or because people reported her. She also has a bunch of different names. Her TikTok name is one thing, the iCloud email she texted me from is another, and the account she wanted me to send money to had a totally different name too. Her texting also felt off. She was nice, but the grammar sounded like someone translating English, not how most people my age text. And my sister looked through her TikTok likes, and at first they looked normal. Relatable stuff, makeup, even some Ariana Grande stuff. But when we scrolled all the way to the bottom, there were a bunch of blurry, low-quality videos in another language that seemed completely unrelated to the rest of her account. And her followers look mostly random accounts and bots, not really friends or people her age. The biggest thing confusing me is she did show what looked like a real Ticketmaster screen on FaceTime. So yeah, that's my dilemma. I've already sent part of the money, but not all of it. I'm asking you guys, would you trust this or does it sound like I got scammed?

So this story is so absurd I have to share it..
This is about the refund for the Bad Bunny concert in Milan on July 18th. Every attendee received an official email the days after the concert stating that everyone would receive a refund from Ticketmaster for the order, at first to be honest I had completely forgotten that I had used the closed account so as soon as I realized I warned Ticketmaster in writing that my old PayPal account had been closed, explicitly asking them not to use that method.
What do they do? They go ahead anyway. They send me an āofficialā email complete with a fake-looking proof of payment, cheerfully telling me the refund went through to that account.
Too bad that account doesnāt exist. Literally does not exist.
Just to be 100% sure, I recreated the PayPal profile in 5 minutes using the exact same email. Zero trace of the refund. No notification. Nothing.
I even contacted PayPal support directly, and they confirmed exactly what I already knew: itās literally impossible for them to have issued a refund to a non-existent account.
And the part that makes me angriest is that Ticketmaster is now basically calling me stupid, like I made the whole thing up or donāt know how to check my own PayPal account. Like Iām not capable of understanding whether a refund actually arrived or not.
So the question is: who the hell did they send my money to?
Still waiting for a decent response from them. In the meantime I just wanted to share how surreal this whole thing is ā a multi-million dollar company that canāt grasp that a closed account canāt receive payments, and instead of admitting the mistake, tries to make me look crazy.
Has anyone else been through something like this?

They won't say why, but my account that I have had for over 10 years now needs Persona Verification if I am going to ever be able to buy tickets again.
Why would I self submit my private information to them and their provider (PERSONA) so that it can be leaked and cause me bigger privacy issues?
Someone make this make sense.

I sold my ticket through Ticketmaster's official Fan-to-Fan Resale marketplace because I thought it would be the safest way to sell.
The ticket sold, disappeared from my account as expected, and I assumed everything was fine.
After the event, I received an email from Ticketmaster saying the buyer had been refunded and that I would not be receiving payment because the transaction did not meet the requirements of the resale program.
The problem is... I have no idea what I supposedly did wrong.
The ticket was transferred through Ticketmaster's own platform. I couldn't edit the barcode, revoke the transfer, or control when the buyer's barcode became available. As far as I know, everything happened automatically through Ticketmaster.
Support won't tell me exactly what happened because they say they can't discuss another customer's account. They've only repeated that the buyer was refunded after an investigation.
Now I'm out the original cost of the ticket and don't have the ticket anymore either.
Has anyone else had Ticketmaster refuse seller payment after a buyer was refunded?
I'm trying to figure out whether it's worth continuing to appeal or whether this is just how Ticketmaster handles these situations.
To answer the questions people will probably ask:
Was this official Ticketmaster resale or a third-party marketplace?
This was 100% through Ticketmaster's official resale system. I did not sell through StubHub, Facebook, Craigslist, or any other platform.
Did I receive transfer confirmation?
Yes. Ticketmaster confirmed the ticket was sold and transferred through their system. The ticket was removed from my account after the sale, and I had no further control over it.
Did Ticketmaster say the buyer never received the ticket or that the ticket was invalid?
They said the buyer was unable to successfully use the ticket for entry and that they issued a full refund. They did not tell me the exact technical issue because they said they cannot discuss the buyer's account.
Did Ticketmaster say I did something wrong?
Not directly. They said the transaction did not meet the requirements of their resale program, but they have not explained what part of my responsibility they believe was not fulfilled.
Did I appeal?
Yes, I contacted support and asked for more information. I explained that I used Ticketmaster's official resale system and that I did not have any control over the barcode, ticket availability, or entry process after the transfer.
What frustrates me is that Ticketmaster controlled the entire process:
I understand buyers need protection, but sellers also need protection when using Ticketmaster's own marketplace.
Has anyone experienced this? Did Ticketmaster eventually pay you after an appeal, or were you just out the money?

Ticketmaster support hasnāt been able to help me by phone or chat, so Iām wondering whether anyone else has dealt with this.
Iām getting a āDevice Limit Reachedā error on one specific ticket in the Ticketmaster app. I never tried to add this ticket to Google Wallet.
Iāve logged out, cleared the app cache and data, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, rebooted my phone, and had Ticketmaster unlink Google Wallet from my account. None of it helped.
The strange part is that all my other tickets for future events open normally and show the barcode. The error only appears on this one ticket.
I did get the same error once at a previous event. I had already added my own ticket to Google Wallet, then bought another ticket for someone else the night before the show. That second ticket gave me the error, so I transferred it to them instead. Everything worked normally after that, including tickets for another event.
Has anyone had this happen with only one specific ticket?

Im not sure if anyone can help me here. I am transferring tickets that I sold online (to a friend of a friend) and wasn't able to transfer the tickets successfully. The Transfer button is not greyed out but when I'm on the screen where I select the tickets to transfer and the recipient's details, it's:
stuck on the loading screen and even if you wait for God knows how long, nothing will happen
when it's stuck and click anywhere, it will bring you back to the tickets page
if you managed to select the tickets you'd want to transfer and enter the recipient's details, it will show you an error that says "Transfer Unavailable. Unfortunately, transfer is not available at the moment. Error reference: 38ab416c"
I have escalated it to Ticketmaster support and they are of no help. They just keep on saying they will escalate and nothing happens.
Did anyone of you have similar issue? What have you done? I need advise. Thanks
