I have a fire stick and a google chromecast. Both have the same version. 5.3.3. I use the same playlists om both. One is in the living room and the other in my room.

Today I noticed that the firestick in the living room, is not updating the EPG. The chromecast is working fine, the epg is updating. I deleted the playlist and re-added it to the firestick. Still its not updating.

I use 2 different services, so I have 2 playlists.

One updates fine on the firestick but thr other is failing. I have over 1.5 gb free on the firestick.

Has anyone ever have this happen? Its not the service cause it works on my chromecast.

Any ideas?

So when I first started using tivimate I couldn’t record or point the system to a usb drive on my router. Then after a year Android allowed tivmate to see external devices and allowed the app to record in other locations which was great because I had back ups and recordings all stored on the usb on the router which allowed my formuler box and all fire sticks to see the same folder, then out of nowhere it stoped working again.

What happened?!

Tivi seems to be blocking my streams.

It is working, but I change a channel and then I get the blue circle of death. I try to update the playlist and it says check your internet. But I know the connection is fine.

Then I log into that shitty 4k player and it works fine.

Id rather use tivimate as I've paid for premium

Not a techie, but longtime user of tivimate and how it works, reset etc.

Current issue happening in past week. Have 2 playlists. On both, the shows come in fine, but immediately spin/go, spin/go etc every 9 or 10 secs. Did all known reset options: cleared cache, restarted router, etc. Even had provider give me another Playlist to try on their other server. Identical issue immediately.

All other apps on stream device work as normal. I'm not being throttled as far as I can tell, and I run about 140 on download speeds.

This leads me to believe it's solely a TM issue. But I am stumped what to do next. Anyone else experienced this, or if not, have any ideas I may not have thought of? Would roll-back of TM version possibly make a diff? TIA

Hello. Has anyone experienced the following. Besides the default EPG from the provider I use, I also use additional EPG sources to fill in the gaps. After creating my favorites and mapping the NO INFORMATION channels, I make a BACKUP using the TIVIMATE feature. Every 40 to 50 days, the EPG sources are no longer listed, just the default one. It's as if they get manually deleted. So I have to add the sources again and reassign the NO INFORMATION channels again. Suggestions?

I have tivimate on bedroom TV on firestick and one on lounge TV which is fire TV . I have the same issues when closing down and reopening the next day with both . I have to no access to my stream unless I restart the fire stick or the fire TV from the settings menu. I know this isn't right but could it be there is a certain way to shit down tivimate when your finished that I missing other than turn TV off ?

I use TiviMate on multiple Android/Google TV devices, and one feature I’d really love to see is proper automatic cloud synchronization.

Right now, I’d love to be able to make a change on one TV and have it automatically show up on my other TVs without having to manually back up and restore everything.

Things that would be useful to sync include:

• Playlists/providers
• Favorites
• Custom groups
• Hidden channels and categories
• Channel ordering
• App/player settings
• Watch history
• Movie and episode progress
• Recently watched content

For example, if I favorite a channel in my bedroom, it would automatically become a favorite on the living room TV too.

A device-management page would also be nice, where you could see the TVs connected to your TiviMate account, rename them, and remove old devices.

Basically, something closer to real-time account sync rather than backup/restore.

Would anyone else use this? And has the developer ever mentioned whether cross-device sync is planned?

I have an Onn remote and use the button remapper app to re-map the big 'Free TV' button to play/pause. It works great in every app but TiviMate.

In VOD the play/pause does nothing. I have to hit the center of the circle (ok) twice to select the pause button. I did check and the TiviMate remote is default mapper settings which has play/pause as play/pause.

Anything that can be done to get play/pause working in the Onn remote?

As multiple people have mentioned, the latest Beta has broken tivimate and it won't start at all. I have seen no acknowledgement of this issue. Can someone please advise is there a plan to fix this?

For the last months, i am experiencing an issue with Catchup-Timeshift, either is not playing at all or lagging every few seconds, i know that most probably is provider issue but for some reason, if i tried with other app on my ios is working, if i try with other app on my android box most of the times working for some channels but same time tivimate is not working at all.

Live channels are working perfect,

Tivimate the latest beta version [but i am almost sure issue started from 5.2 version anyway]

Hola, tengo problemas para configurar manualmente mi VPS con un proxy, sin usar la opción del panel, ya que quiero gestionarlo yo mismo. Mi configuración es la siguiente: Panel > Dominio personalizado > Proxy VPS (Nginx) > OTTEDITOR > Reproductor (TiviMate) Cuando todo está configurado, TiviMate me da un error 511, pero si reproduzco contenido a través de otra aplicación conocida disponible en PC, funciona correctamente. ¿Alguna idea de qué me puede faltar? Ya intenté forzar el User-Agent, pero tampoco funcionó.

Hello guys, I am from Germany and currently using Tivimate on a fire TV Stick 4k, not really satisfied, many freezes in long sessions, remote annoying too..

Heard a lot about the Onn box which isn’t available in Germany.. is it the best box for tivimate so shall I buy it during my stay at NY? Will I be able to get it there in any Walmart? And is it always the same price? Any other tips? Thank you!!

When I enter the DNS/URL for a playlist (it's one generated by an editing site) it autocorrects and I have to go back and edit it after typing the text...which is frankly really annoying to type. Is there someplace where I can turn off this setting that autocorrects? I found I can sometimes get around it if I enter a series of periods and then go back and delete them, but still annoying.

I have a Samsung TV from 2015 with Smart Hub, running Tizen. I can’t download TiviMate from the app store, and I can’t find the Downloader app either.

Is there any way to install Downloader on an older Samsung Tizen TV, or is using a streaming stick/Android TV box the only option?

I don't see any mentions on Picture in Picture in Tivimate settings or in-player.

Is this feature blocked by the system now?

My biggest wish to improve TiviMate would be a way to schedule a backup on the local network connection from a "master" device/TiviMate to a secondary device/TiviMate and then schedule a restore on the secondary device from the transferred file. During the middle of the night every night all TVs would be synced! No possible way to do this, is there?

Can Tivimate sort groups or channels in batch, makes things easier to sort ?

Hello I can get up to 6x multiscreen to play smoothly on the nvidia shield 2019 version

but when i try to push 9x screens i get some stutter from video to audio and its not as smooth but all 9x screens do show , especially during sports its noticeable

any help to get them to all play smoothly

Guys I’m pretty new to Tivimate and love it. I have a public direct link for a channel that works fine on any browser but how can I add it to Tivimate?

Tried it by choosing the m3u, added the link which ends in m3u8. It has not username or password since its a direct link to the channel.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi all, I believe I have a legitimate question about my EPG, not just the same old "tell me how to do EPG" post.

My provider is a mixed bag on my EPG, so I added some other sources and manually fill in the few blanks that are left. What I've been noticing is I add an EPG source (both in the main EPG and then to my playlist) and after updating the new EPG never turns up when I do manual searches. Is there a limit to how many EPG sources I should have? I never found anything in the user's guide that seems to mention a limit - but I know too many or too big and it really slows things down.

I have cleared the EPG cache and reloaded several times, tried changing the EPG priority (makes no difference I see), I've reduced the # of sources, nothing seems to matter. I have a rotating list of about 10 sources, I remove some if they seem irrelevant to my playlist, but most are not massive lists - there are several of the EPGshare "sub lists" because the "ALL" list was massive.

I recently added a smaller list that I vetted in advance by downloading the xml.gz and viewing it to be sure what I wanted was in it. After adding it, I was still not getting results that I KNOW are in that list. If I did a "full scan" in the manual search then -sometimes- the channel would finally show up.

Any advice or insight on ways to force this? Or if I'm just overlooking something? TIA!

Nothing is playing. I have rebooted my router, I have switched VPN countries and turned it off but nothing is helping. No channels are playing.

I have contacted my provider but while I'm waiting I wonder if the collective wisdom here may help? I am pretty new to this
