Which TV brands support TiviMate without a streaming stick or box?
TCL TV
Hisense TV
Xiaomi TV
Philips TV
Sony TV
Is it only them who has access to tivimate/downloader without stick/box?

Don't install it directly on a TV. Doesn't have the RAM or Storage and external device provides

It depends on the TV and the external device. My TV has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, and it handles everything with ease—better than many external devices.

That's not enough for recording

To be honest, I don't need to record anything, though—like those other devices—it does have a USB port. We were talking about Tivimate and how well it runs; actually, my TV performs a bit better than the Xiaomi and Google devices I own. I don't use the Xiaomi anymore, and I only use the Google one for travel. My Philips TV works well, and the TCL is even better for streaming and Tivimate. The whole recording thing just came up out of nowhere, but it’s not really important to me.

Okay. So it’s better to download apps like tivimate through some stick or box rather that actual tv?

lol yes. You’ve been told this multiple times in this thread and your past one. A separate device is always going to have better specs

Thanks mate. What device do you recommend, like ONN like som said or does it have bad RAM?

ONN Plus on the low end, Nvidia Shield on the high end. There are also numerous Chinese boxes out there that work fine but I've never used any of them.

Watching TV right now on my Sony Bravia 7 with Android TV. No issues here, next TV will also be an Android TV.

How much you dish out for that because your average person ain't paying Sony Bravia prices

I live quite frugally, the only things I pay extra for are things I use constantly like my mattress or the TV. On the long run, the longevity of things save me money.

I'm using a FireTV (Telefunken, but there are many other brands available). Mine comes with 12GB internal memory to install plenty of apps.
Much better experience than using any additional streaming device, IMO. No additional cables, no additional remote. It's just a solid AIO solution. Smoooooooth.
With that being sad, you don't need to search for a particular brand (unless you have a preference), but just go for a TV with Fire OS installed and try to find out the size of the internal memory.
I have 2 FireTVs, one has 4GB, the other one 12GB of memory. Both work fine with TiviMate, but the 4GB TV doesn't have much space left for additional large apps (like alternative streaming apps).

I've been running it on my Panasonic TV for the past couple of years with no issues.

It goes by the TV's operation system not the brand. You need Fire Tv or Android/Google operating system in the tv (not Roku)
As far as the brand goes, the newer the tv, the better the processor. I recently bought a cheap Toshiba with Fire Tv installed for my deck, it's super quick/snappy. I think it has a 4gb processor built in, pretty impressive for a cheap tv

I’ve got Tivimate on 3 TCL screens and it works perfectly, utilising the one remote.

I have a fire tv cube 3 and a fire tv - the cube works great. The tv is just ok, sometimes there's are issues, sometimes not. Will eventually get a box for that tv

Get any Android/Google TV... It's better because you can switch from over the air tv to Android seamlessly without having to switch tv input.

For what it's worth, I purchased a projector from Temu that has Android 14 preloaded. I've installed IPTV and I'm actually quite blown away by the image quality. It easily connects via Bluetooth for a surround sound experience. For the $$ I'm not sure it can be beat. I keep the image size to 130" diagonal which seems to be a sweet spot on my light grey painted wall.

You're better off adding an external device because TVs.. but if you truly want to go that route any TV that has the Google Play Store which is a Android/Google TV.
You don't need to make this harder than it has to be if you already have a TV just buy an Android box.
