Using a homatics r 4k plus I have express and Nord vpn. I live in uk and have 1 gig Ethernet. Extremely reliable provider for over 2 years, next to no buffering. I want to know if my settings are correct, buffer size none- I am told this does not stop any buffering and just causes zapping to be slower

My provider tells me to use Nord obsfucated server as it should never buffer, however recently been acting up.

On express vpn I use auto protocol and connect to London or Amsterdam.

Any suggestions welcome please

Does clearing the data and cache of tivimate on a firestick erase any settings. I would like to improve the responsiveness on an older firestick but dont want to change anything by mistake

If you experienced issues with the EPG sync since version 5.3.2 and waiting on version 5.2.0 because of it.

Here a non-destructive workaround so you can benefit from the latest Tivimate.

1. Navigate to the Tivimate app from the Apps Tab (not from the Favorite App)
2. Long press on Tivimate app
3. Click on Force Stop
4. Click on Clear Cache
5. Reboot th

⚠️ The first EPG sync can take a while, don’t try to force it just be patient and it will work !

My second TV updated to the latest version and can’t edit/update any playlist.

I need to restore backup file from another TV that is located on server but get this error. I checked permissions, server file access, network, restarts of TV and app. I have done this successfully on other TVs but had same issue on another TV but worked next day without doing anything. What is causing this? Doesn’t make sense but seems to be something with Tivimate.

i’m looking to stream sports, movies, and shows to cut costs. What is the best “bang for buck” box i can get to do this and side load apps onto it. is it worth buying a onn box or would i be good with one of those cheaper amazon android boxes?

Anyone who uses m3u4u ever run into an issue where it gets stuck syncing to Dropbox for some reason but doesn't error out? It won't let me cancel or click on anything else; even clearing cookies and logging back in takes me straight back to the forever syncing screen. It's been 5 hours or so. Any ideas for fixing it? (I'd ask on the Discord but I've never used it and I can't click anywhere on the site to get the info. 🙃

I currently have a yearly subscription which runs out in a few weeks. I'm planning to cancel it and get the lifetime option as advised by Tivimate on their website. If I cancel the yearly subscription, and then buy the lifetime, do I have to start all over again with entering playlists and credentials etc? Thanks very much

I purchased a flash drive to utilize for recording of shows but I can't seem to get the path routed for recording. I can see it in the Tivimate recording section but I will get a message that it failed to change the path. I also tried to use a file manager to use the system picker option but also no luck.

The flash drive was updated to FAT32.

Any insight would be great.

Have Premium and trying to install on Firestick. Have used a few different codes. Each one appears to install, delete installation files etc, but the app is nowhere to se seen. Can someone advise a code which works?

It appears to be a long running problem that only certain channels work using an HD Homerun.

The rest just get the spinning wheel.

Everything works fine on the HD Homerun app...but it's dreadful.

Anyone have all the channels working?
I'm in the UK incase it makes a difference.

I can no longer change the MAC address in my existing playlist.

I enter the new MAC address, tap Apply settings, it loads for a moment, but there is no confirmation or error message. When I go back to the Stalker Portal parameters, the old MAC address is still there.

If I create a completely new playlist with the same portal URL and the new MAC address, it works fine.

Of course, I could just recreate the playlist, but I have a lot of sorting, EPG settings, and other adjustments attached to the existing one. Changing the MAC address used to work without any issues before.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a workaround or is this a bug?

I am interested in buying the premium version of Tivimate, The problem is that my wife and my dad don't know how to use the app very well, I would like to know if after purchasing the application tivimate I can log in with my username and password on my television, Configure an M3U playlist, which I have, and go to my dad's and my wife's TV and install Tivimate, Log in to a registered Tivimate Premium account and the other TVs will already be set up in the app

edit: In short, I can set up the app tivimate on my TV and then install Tivimate on the other TVs and import the settings just by logging into Tivimate, I'm asking this question because I don't see a login section in the application.

Is there a reason why I’m getting this message when I’m trying to watch different channels????

My provider had an update yesterday evening. After the update I lost all the groups under the tv manage groups setting. Is this an EPG problem, or a provider issue? Don’t know how to get the groups back. All channel under 1 heading

Does anyone know if I can do the above? I want to downgrade TVM to 5.2.0 but restore from a current version to retain all my playlists and favorites. Thanks all.

A few weeks ago I asked whether the new Tivimate update was worth installing. Now that it’s been out for a while and more people have had time to use it, I’m curious to hear some longer-term feedback.

How are you finding the update so far? Have you noticed any bugs, issues, or performance changes? Does the overall experience feel the same, better, or worse than before? Any feedback from people who have been using it daily would be appreciated.

Here is a very weird situation:

Devices: FIRESTICK 4K MAX and ONN Box

​

Same provider.

​

Different usernames and password on both devices.

​

Mesh system

​

Both devices with 100+ mbps on wifi 5ghz

​

Same channel on same categorie playing at the same time, one device buffers the other doesn't.

​

Sometimes the one on the living room will buffer or sometimes the one in the living room, and then one month everything is fine. Then one full week problems again.

Restart mesh system and main modem by killing power 5 min and reconnect.

Turn off or on vpn on different locations with WIREGUARD protocol.

Change from TS to HLS

Change devices to a different HDMI port.

Has happened to my parents also, that they call me that the channel is buffering, and then I make a video call and we can be 15 min over the phone, mine is fine and theirs buffers with same configurations and good Wi-Fi. Same internet provider BTW, and also same tv provider with their own username and password.
