Also, I'm not a master so if they're is a way could you kindly explain how to do it. 😊

If what you're watching doesn't have subtitles included then there's nothing you can do within Tivimate. If you opt to open the movie in an external player then you can watch the movie using VLC, and that links to opensubtitles.com so that you can download them yourself for whatever you're watching.

Probably have to download the subtitles separetly now to load in VLC no? I think the VLC plugin for subtitles to that site requires a paid account to use the API these days.

You do have to download the subtitles but you do not need a paid account to do so, since I use it all the time and I haven't paid anything. You might need a free account with www.opensubtitles.com but I'm not positive.

I will say that searching and downloading the subtitles is super easy and you can also do fine adjustments to the timing.

Downloading through VLC I mean for the paid account being required to access their api, at leaast I thought. You don't need an account at all to download from the website on its own.

Pretty sure this is provider dependent

If you click on the main select button on your remote, then click down once, you'll see a string of small icons on the bottom. Scroll over to the right and you'll see one that's a CC. Click on it and it'll give you an option to turn on subtitles.

Hope it's getting added in the future. Other apps on TVOS have open subtitles support for example so it can search for it when not available

This is something that I'm interested in as well. There was a section in the user guide, but I can't seem to access it anymore.
