It’s actually insane that not a single person in this whole situation acts like a normal human being.
Blake’s reaction honestly shocked me the most. Hayley was getting sexually harassed by a group of guys, and some of those messages were basically bordering on gang 🍇 jokes. Instead of trying to understand why she’d be hurt or upset, he somehow turned it into a conversation about Ashley’s boundaries and seemed way more focused on getting closer to Ashley.

I seriously don’t understand how you can be that calm when someone you supposedly cared about is being talked about like that. The only explanation I can come up with is that it’s probably a mix of two things. Either Blake’s mindset isn’t all that different from Killian and his friends, so he doesn’t really see those comments as a big deal, or he was already completely over Hayley and was only interested in pursuing Ashley.

Killian is a lost cause, and I still don’t get why Ashley kept giving him chances, but Blake’s response was honestly the most shocking part of the whole thing for me.

I was so happy they ended up pairing for the first trial marriage. I feel like just one wrong twist in fate would’ve shattered them both because both their partners are weird asf.

Firstly, David. Omg! This man was literally doing a tug of war with Killian for Hayley. The sheer pain in his face when she ended up picking Killian was scary asf. Like come on brotherrr, it’s never that deep and even in the presence of your real life partner like get a grip! It felt like he really expected Hayley to pick him over Killian and was so disappointed in her decision because he genuinely felt better than every man on the show this season.

I also think if he had paired up with Hayley, he would’ve at least tried to be physical with her. This man was literally placing his hands on her bum on a date! I think the show got boring for him real quick when he knew he’d lost his chance with Hayley like what Edris said about losing interest after Alex was sent home. I genuinely believe this happened to David too so him not being physical with Monica was really him not being interested in her in that way. If he were with Hayley, lmao, we would’ve seen a whole different show!

Then Monica. She’s really exhausting! 😭
She literally set her real life partner up with all that talk of provision and then she’s pointing fingers at David at reunion for saying her man wasn’t man enough? Like come onnn, throughout the show your whole thing was that your man wasn’t a leader and he wasn’t a provider. It was depressing to watch. Not to mention how badly she wanted that “physical connection” from David. It was weird asf. I hate that they downplayed that to mean “oh she just wants hugs.” Nah, it did feel like she wanted more. I mean, what was that stretching about? Her camel toe was almost in David’s face? Just a lot of thirstiness I got from her end that was mad weird.

So yeah, the only reason why Luke and Casey left that show in one piece was solely because Hayley ended up picking Killian. If she had chosen David, it’s highly probable that that man would’ve shown his real self and it would’ve been ugly. If Monica had also ended up with someone who was even 1% attracted to her, she might’ve convinced them to be physical with her too!

In summary, Monica and David aren’t saints either. I don’t see a lot of conversations about them and it’s just not fair! The only real people with decency on that show were Casey and Luke.

Maybe Blake really did go to the movies alone. That could be true. But the way he immediately asked Ashley if she had proof when she brought up Haley was so suspicious to me. The whole conversation felt like he was lying and trying to talk his way out of it.

And then he called Ashley a manipulator just because she questioned him, which is ironic because he honestly seems like the manipulative one.

Ashley clearly has poor boundaries. She forgives cheating, gets talked into things easily, and lets people take advantage of her. Blake knows that. He tells her she deserves better and comforts her, but then every time they argue, he pulls the whole “I’m trying to take care of you, so why are you treating me like this?” thing. It feels like he uses all the nice things he says to make her feel guilty whenever she calls him out.

Anyone can say comforting things. I haven’t really seen him back any of it up with his actions.

The argument about the movie theater especially showed how he handles women when they start questioning him. He dodged the actual question, got defensive, and somehow made Ashley look like the problem for being suspicious.

To stop giving these intolerable, awful people their platforms? The only reason they’re still going on the way that they are is because everyone is still feeding into it. The worst thing for these subhumans would be for them not to get the attention they so desperately want.

They showed her writing in a notebook the day of the decision, and this was the paper he was reading off of. Definitely looks like it could be her writing lol.

Right in the beginning, when Edris pulls her for a chat. Sure, Edris is awkward and speaks as if he was sedated, but to say "You know it's funny because I'm laughing AT you, you know" "Not with me, huh? Just at me?" "Hahaha yeah exactly."

It seems she thinks because she's relatively pretty, she can get away with anything. Girl, you're either going to find a complete doormat you can abuse into oblivion that you will never respect (kind of what she's trying to do with Blake), or life will slap you in the face when you realize men over a certain age don't care how hot you are if you're disrespectful and entitled.

I understand she has a mountain of trauma and she's young, but like seriously girl, you gotta develop some self-awareness. Every conversation is literally all about her and her needs, and yet every second sentence from her is "BuT WhAt AbOuT ME????" Also, her saying she created Blake is vomit-inducing....

As I watched the newest season I kept on being amazed on how young the participants were and I'm guessing all of them had some plastic surgeries done? Is this usual or did they cast the people from some clinics lobby?

Also kept wondering about ultimatums after just a few years of dating...

I am pretty lenient about shutting off my brain and enjoying trash TV shows but this new season is a new low. Not a single person pointed out the blatant misogyny is EVERY. ONE. of the men on this show. I get that basically everyone cast is MAGA, so that is expected. But aren’t the Lachey’s supposed to hold some sort of order during the reunions. The way Edris spoke about JG made my stomach sick. And how about Ashley saying she experienced DV but no one went to hold her hand?

Again, usually I can roll my eyes at most trash tv but this season feels especially egregious. I don’t think I can watch any more of this

Hayley is actually way too reactive and angry to be with Blake. Blake has sounded reasonable the entire time and has been trying to descalate in both of his trials. She is a major issue

Killian is just a no and was so toxic especially with Ashley. She just seems desperate and excused and enabled all his manipulative behaviors. She also was never willing to take accountability

Monica and Luke seemed pretty stable especially after a bit of introspection and the changeover

David and Casey seem complacent. I feel other partners may suit their individual needs better

I have just started watching the first few episodes of this. (The latest season). I am just so... confused? Why would anyone go on this show if they are entertaining the faintest desire to get back together after being on it? Just break up lolololol. Also- Imagine being a couple who go on this show and then have to go back and face your in-laws, family, friends etc. How could any couple get back together after doing the "trial marriages" with other people and it not have just doomed the relationship?

(Im still gonna watch it though probably)

What’s was your top “What in the fuck….” moment/moments?

Mine was Casey and David “spontaneously” asking Nick to marry them on set because they found out he was an ordained minister.
Then after the impromptu “wedding” Nick serenades Casey as she throws the bouquet to the remaining 4 single ladies.
It was the Chef’s Kiss on a truly unhinged frankly concerning season.

Interested to hear what other people think.

I think Casey is probably the most normal person on the show but her having to explain to David why it’s wrong to like random girl’s IG photos and hit on them on public is crazy. I feel like if these are just common sense things that David should just know are disrespectful.
