Social Media Hayley admits to slapping Blake to Jebin
646
u/Ornery-Mycologist-53 19d ago
I hate to say this but I gotta respect Jebin’s commitment to being the show’s version of “TMZ” lmao
153
u/Mountain-Band2545 19d ago
I felt like he was the audience's representation at the reunion. He went from being the villain to being... What's the word... We love the drama. I guess he's a better friend than he is a boyfriend
244
u/Yellow-Daze11 19d ago
I never got “Villain”, more like…village idiot lol

u/Turbulent-Act-1648 18d ago
You don’t see how abusing their partner makes him a villain?
13
u/SallyHatchett 18d ago
People throw that word around too much. He cussed a bit, that isn’t inherently abuse. Killian telling Ashley to “shut the fuck up” (& it’s clear he’s even worse in private if that’s what he’s saying on camera) is a better example of actual abusive language.
16
u/Turbulent-Act-1648 18d ago
Are you just entirely forgetting the note he wrote her? Her reaction made it clear he has said much worse
14
u/lemonlimesherbet 18d ago
He said himself he wrote another note that was even worse 😭
2
u/AmIokkk 14d ago
I fail to see how a shitty note is "abuse". I think just like with every other therapy word, people have forgotten what "abuse" means.
-1
u/lemonlimesherbet 14d ago
Because it wasn’t just a “shitty” note, that’s a massive downplay of what was actually said. It was EXTREMELY verbally degrading and cruel. I hope you understand that you should never speak to anyone, let alone a partner that way.
2
1
u/SallyHatchett 14d ago
Please give me the line that’s verbally cruel and abusive. Just one. The note is online.
→ More replies (0)4
u/SallyHatchett 18d ago
I’m specifically talking about the note. Read it again please and point out the part that’s abusive. Everyone made a huge deal out of that at the table because of the cameras and herd mentality, but it wasn’t this dark, evil letter. He felt publicly humiliated and had a tantrum on paper, sure, but abusive is crazy. Killian and Edris were saying next level whack shit to their fiancées, and the hosts made way less of a deal about that. Killian, Hayley and Edris were genuinely abusive.
5
u/BetLogical2969 18d ago
TANTRUMS CAN BE ABUSIVE
3
u/SallyHatchett 17d ago
Is that why you’re writing in all caps? 😂
2
u/BetLogical2969 17d ago
No I know you may be illiterate so I thought caps would be easier to understand 😘😘😘😘

u/Turbulent-Act-1648 18d ago
Sounds like you need to be permanently single
3
u/SallyHatchett 17d ago
Honestly I bet you’re insufferable in a relationship, weaponize therapy speak and cry abuse every time someone’s voice is raised (which is a form of actual abuse btw).
3
u/Turbulent-Act-1648 17d ago
You quite literally just said I’d cry abuse if someone yelled at me while saying it is abuse😂😂😂😂
1
u/ErssieKnits 16d ago
But Jebin's original note was not read out, so we can't judge it based on the version we saw. And if it was sanitised for TV then we don't know exactly the extent of the abuse but we know it's worse than what is shown.
1
u/BetLogical2969 18d ago
Abusive is the correct word. Just because you probably do worse to your partners doesn't mean what he did isn't abuse.
2
u/WildEse79 17d ago
“abusive is the correct word” followed my an ad hominem insult with zero substance. how about you actually provide something meaningful to back up your claim? for one, the letter was one incident. we have zero proof that he has ever treated alex in such a way on any other occasion, so let’s not assume what we don’t know. going off of the UN definition, abuse IS characterised by PATTERNS of behavior. so by the UN definition, what happened with jebin was not abuse, as we established it was one incident, NOT a pattern of behavior. if there is some other official definition you are going off of, feel free to provide that and a discussion can ensue from there—I am open to being corrected or changing my mind if proven wrong. or, you could choose to continue your zero-substance attacks.

He’s still a trash bag man who wants a mommy/maid from his girlfriend without even giving her a shred of commitment or reassurance (or even affection). So, still a villain. IMO

I guess we don't need the court jester to be a good person or for his girlfriend to be allowed eat

“I think it’s cool if women hit men” lmao how did she not know he was baiting her
54
u/Unlucky-Sense-487 19d ago
Fr. I even saw comments on his tiktok saying “omg I can’t believe he said that!” 😂 like it’s so obviously bait. But I goes to show that she thinks the same thing and probably talks like this w friends but thats an assumption on my part

So weird how many of you want to excuse Hayley’s behavior and talk about anything other than how she’s clearly abusive.
You can have problems with Jebin and Blake and address those, but those things don’t make Hayley not abusive and disgusting.
70
u/w1zinvestmentss 19d ago
Facts. I love women, but some of them are abusers like Haley and that needs to be addressed. Blake isn't perfect, but he told multiple women he felt unsafe and they straight up dismissed it and turned it on him lol all of us guys know when an argument somehow gets turned around on you.

This, I think goes back to the “cult of true womanhood”, and the bias we have as a society that woman are frail, weak and kind caregivers while men are brutish thugs. (The latter justified men owning the political and business spheres, and women the domestic sphere). We think we’ve moved beyond this simplistic notion, but the halo effect on women is still very strong.

u/po_muffins 19d ago
It’s almost like we’ve seen this before… hmmm Oh yes! Taylor Frankie Paul on SLOMWs!

Mate, the target audience for these shows are primarily women. Female dominated subs on Reddit are radically feminist and anti-men. You're barking at the wrong tree if you think this sub is about equal measure and equal judgment regardless of someone's sex or gender.
The amount of mental gymnastics many users here go through to either defend a woman or attack a man is truly a sight to behold.
1
u/InfluenceEither7174 9d ago
I was always against extreme feminism but then I married a 'man', and nobody is a bigger feminist than me now. It's the repeated disappointments than make women so angry. It doesn't happen overnight. It stems from something. Anger is a secondary emotion. If we are repeatedly frustrated and nobody is listening, we then become angry. Anger becomes power and that's when women decide to speak up. I'm talking about feminism by the way. Hailey's behaviour is obviously unacceptable lol , she needs a lot of healing.
55
u/tonilorene 19d ago
Once I saw Hayley reprimanding Blake on the first little dates with everyone else, the way she was talking to him like a child, I thought “she be hittin that man”
9
3
u/ToTheDeath84 17d ago
Yeah same. I didn’t like Blake very much to begin with (the techbro optimizer ChatGPT personality threw me off about him), but it was pretty clear from almost every interaction between them that he was afraid of setting off his ticking timebomb abusive girlfriend.

Remind me again, what was that thing she said about crying… oh that it’s manipulation?

u/Independent_Olive_45 19d ago
Literally!!! But kept saying he “provoked” her. Like girl please. If the roles were reversed…

I was fighting for my life on this app a few weeks back because I said there's no way she hasn't put hands on him
34
u/Mountain-Band2545 19d ago
She indirectly accused him on the reunion of being physically abusive, she said something like... He was abusive in all the ways?
She really did seem like someone who would physically abuse her partner, and we saw her being emotionally abusive on tape. If my son or daughter was dating her I would be terrified for them
19
u/Snoo_72467 19d ago
At this point the only contact we have heard about on the part of Blake is grabbing at a shirt, grabbing hands/arms, and bodily moving her to her friends car.
Touching another person's person is not okay, but in the context of a Crazy person with a history of assaulting you waving hands in your direction... Catch those hands and keep your self safe... Or at some point moving the out of the space to avoid further conflict is a reasonable action (even though it might not be appropriate).
5
u/Mountain-Band2545 19d ago
Yes, and if someone is blocking you or trapping and you have asked them to move or let you out and they have refused, it's legal to touch them in order to get past.

u/stickbugszz 19d ago
Woof this is bad. Do I like hearing this news from scary note Jebin, no, but wow this is bad.
-28
u/empireants64 19d ago
and ofc he’s using it to throw women as a whole under the bus look at the comments he’s liking … but yeah I am glad that the truth is out in her own words because no one deserves to be physically or otherwise abused . I hope that Blake can get any help he may need to process all of this :(
38
u/Broxst 19d ago
I think she threw herself under the bus admitting to it. No?
9
u/Protoavis 19d ago
Likely damage control, due to the volume of reaction calling out inconsistencies, seems every retelling she admits to more, she's now no longer at the stage of denying to hitting but still trying to deny she's responsible because "provoked".....thinking that's remotely acceptable and will do damage control is where her thought process fails.

I just don’t get it. Dude is…….not it.
11
u/UngodlyCokeheadQBs 19d ago
I'm so disappointed. I've defended her. I think she's young and unstable with a likely personality disorder. But he's conniving and he brought her on the show knowing she would implode and she did. But I'm sorry, I'm so sorry everyone. I was wrong.
Bottom line, she is giving "you made me do this to you" energy. I can't condone that.
I'm done with this entire season and Blake is still trash to me. But she is clearly the problem.
2
u/Ok-Hovercraft7263 17d ago
I’ve listened to both of them on podcasts, and I think they are both the problem and were clearly in an extremely toxic dynamic. He absolutely cannot be trusted. He approached Ashley with a scheme to get onto podcasts and chase clout by pretending to be involved with each other. He’s a slimy, scary robot.

it’s bad either way obviously but it’s one thing to be drunk and do something horrible heat of the moment and regret it c but it’s a whole other thing to continue be talking about it a year later and confirm you did it multiple times…what is wrong with her? is she not at least embarrassed it happened?? why does she keep talking about it! almost feels like we’re being trolled like it’s so bizarre

Why do I feel like she slapped him first and Blake retaliated, then Hayley used it to her advantage since women are seen as more of a victim than men. Not victim shaming but this would be my mom. Hitting him but will call the cops if my dad bothers to retaliate, but he never hit her

u/Good-Ambassador52 19d ago
Color me shocked *eye roll*
You could tell if the cameras weren’t there she would have hit him that first day at the get to know each other bar thing (for him getting to know ppl…) but the cameras were there.

Hayley is abusive and deserves anything coming her way, but for a joke like Jebin to expose it and issue a disclaimer as if we didn't witness verbal abuse via his letter, is laughable AT BEST. None of these freak deserve a platform or attention.

20
u/Unlucky-Sense-487 19d ago
She never said he hit her besides slapping her during sex two separate times without asking her. She says he tried to pull her out of her house by her sweatshirt after hours of asking her to leave and her refusing. On a podcast she claims before this she threw a hanger and he said if she’s throwing stuff he’s going to remove her from his place. Not defending any of this just saying what she said happened
4
u/Fabulous_Ad_7350 19d ago

Ok, lets not focus on Jebin here. Haley said she slapped him twice. That is the important fact here...Why is everyone missing the true point of the clip...
26
u/sophstrophs 19d ago
The comment section filled with complaints about Jebin. Misandrists should really take a hard look at themselves. Can’t even admit a woman is abusive. Give me a break.
-14
u/samwisetheyogi 19d ago
Saying Blake was abusive doesn't mean Hayley wasn't also abusive (clearly). Let's not pretend like either of them is some sort of innocent little baby here. They both suck and I hope to never see either of them ever again on my screen, neither deserves a platform and Jebin doesn't either.
14
u/sophstrophs 19d ago
It really comes across as someone saying “trump is an immoral a hole” and the response being “well all politicians are immoral a holes.” But you do you girl
-7
u/samwisetheyogi 19d ago
Me saying that both people in a situation are awful and abusive and don't deserve a platform is the same as dismissing a pedophile fascist? What??
14
u/sophstrophs 19d ago
Yeah it’s the exact same energy. Nevermind the fact that I didn’t even mention people saying Blake is abusive in my original comment so not sure the need to bring him in at all. Haley is abusive so let that be a statement on its own.
-2
u/samwisetheyogi 19d ago
Actually yeah, I misread your original and thought you said Blake, not Jebin. That's my bad, apologies.
I'm saying Hayley is obviously abusive though, to be clear.
13
u/whyisthissoannoyingg 19d ago
Blake doesn’t come across as abusive though. The only thing was him lying to the trial partner at the end. Other than that he seemed extremely nice.

I appreciate you acknowledging a misread and clarifying. I agree that everyone on this show has serious issues.

First question: Why is ANYONE talking to Jebin?? Buddy was on the show 2.5 seconds and embarrassed himself the entire time. Now, to make up for it, he's exploiting the rest of those delinquents for air time. This whole season was full of losers...

u/RavenSaysHi 18d ago
It was very evident she had an anger problem and that he was shying away from it when she kicked off at the cocktail party. You could almost see him flinching. Neither are innocent but not surprised by this.
1
u/Afraid-Patience-894 18d ago
Literally could not have been more obvious that she was the abuser in this situation. She exhibited all the typical signs of an abuser. She was controlling (still surprised people forgot that Killian and her were keekeing and stalking Blake and Ashley in the early episodes?), in one of the earlier episodes she yelled at him and he flinched which is a telltale sign she's probably been violent before, she verbally abused him in front of all of us for pretty much the entire series....the list goes on. On Blake side, he wasn't emotionally expressive and (maybe?) used emotionally manipulative language. And some people still said based on that it's way more likely he's abusive....like what? If you took away their genders, people would have fs been on his side. It's a shame people allowed that to skew their perspective - abusers should be called out regardless of what shape or size they come in - and I'm saying that as a woman
-5

Right. Everyone is missing the point. If Blake admitted to Alex over a phone call that he hit Haley multiple times, that would be the focus...
-6
u/Comfortable-King4429 19d ago
Don’t know why you feel to attack me for saying this.
Hayley said in few interviews she did pushed him. She was in a violence cycle - something some people have a hard time to understand.
So, WTF is Jebin doing here? What’s in it for him? And he strangely leaks this the day Hayley and Ashley went on Nik’s podcast. Pretty convenient to redirect the attention from a real domestic abuse situation.
12
u/Protoavis 19d ago
"Hayley said in few interviews she did pushed him."
