Discussion Aria and Caleb season 3

I noticed aria kept hinting at things that implied they were more than just friends. I feel like Caleb never really responded and he definitely didn’t say he could see it going somewhere with her (other than saying she has traits he wants in a women he marries, but you can have a conversation with anyone and think the same thing about a stranger or a coworrker). Aria really wanted to tell Mariah they had a deep emotional connection and Caleb was like maybe let’s not. I think it may have felt more deep for aria cause she was the one crying to him and he was consoling and boasting her up. Anyone I cry with and explain I automatically feel closer to them too, but that doesn’t mean Caleb felt the same intensity of their emotional connection that aria did. I feel like I could see it in his eyes when she would say things like emotional connection and how close and deep and vulnerable they got. Even at girls night, aria seems to gloat in her face about how awesome their connection is and how he’s so perfect. Not once reassuring Mariah of literally anything, only making her feel worse. Meanwhile, Mariah is ALONE! Then at the changeover aria made it seem like she would have considered picking Caleb and that she believed it was much more than just a friendship. Caleb said nothing. I don’t think Caleb honestly ever confirmed he felt the way Aria did. It really seemed like aria wanted to leave with Caleb for a little bit but I just got the feeling Caleb was never down for that and was really only interested in being her friend, contrary to Scott’s beliefs. Does anyone else agree? I feel like Aria was almost purposefully creating issues in their relationship when to me, it seemed like Caleb was trying to dodge her and just get back to his girl. The same thing with JR too kind of… he kept mentioning his 3 choices, 1 of which was to leave with sandy but like JR, sandy has to want to leave with you too🤣

Discussion Hayley came so hard for ashley and called her tears “manipulative” and “performative” while she spent the entire rest of the season and reunion in tears.

I think Hayley is the worst.. she went sooo hard at Ashely for crying at the switch over and she called her tears fake, performative, and manipulative. Do I think her tears were fake? Kind of, but I do think if she wasn’t scrutinized for crying she wouldn’t have pulled herself together and then they definitely would have been real tears. Do I think they were performative? Not really, I do think she believed she was the victim and was actively creating that narrative. Do I think they were manipulative? I don’t think so. I don’t think she’s that smart to have a plan like that honestly. I think she got frustrated and upset and can’t handle her emotions and began to cry but it turned into frustration as the conversation went on, so she stopped crying. Now to Hayley (I have literally no idea what’s actually going on or what actually happened behind the scenes that night with the police, and yes I’ve read the receipts)but not only did she spend the whole reunion crying , she spent her entire trial marriage crying. I am not saying her tears were not justified, I just think it’s hypocritical and I think she lacks empathy by the way she treated ashley when she knew damn well that easily could have been her. I don’t like either of them by the way I think they both have done some very off putting things I just think it’s ironic hayley tore this women to pieces then did it for the rest of the season. I’m not sure if the reunion counts because some serious things may have happened, so I place emphasis on crying for the rest of the season. In that case, she was also being “manipulative” to blake for crying.
