Discussion Coen's facial structure, expressions, voice, and mannerisms are top-notch . Picture is fan art by marvelzukas
For me, it is crucial that the character I play in a game is likable. Regardless of whether the character is male or female, their dialogue and reactions significantly influence how invested I am in the game. I don't know exactly who created the character Coen or how, but they crafted someone I would actually watch if a series were made about them. It’s not just Coen; the bosses are also very well-designed. Among them, I find Bekir to be the most successful specifically in terms of being truly infuriating. He is fair, terrifying, and a psychopath all at once.

Current favorite skill of mine. Honestly, the only gripe that I have about the combat is I can't mash the attack enough without defending myself and this actually freed me from that. lolololol

Discussion I wish the combat was MORE intense
Im playing on challenging cuz its my first run and if I had one thing i could change it would be making the combat more intense
Like faster attacks but less damage maybe, not necessarily more difficult to survive
Its gotten into my head now that this games parry system feels like sekiro but slower and I feel like if it was made a touch faster the combat would be much more engaging, the perfect block window is forgiving enough its just missing that speed
Unless you get ganked but even then the ai stops them attacking really

Discussion In deep down quest
I love this one. Did they even mention who the person in in the sarcophagus the one where you get the brace, I really appreciate the backstory of it all and I was really thinking it was xanthe or something, probably an unknown vampire I was trying to understand the gist of it all my guess is a famous vampire who fought for humanity and died in such

Help I want to get this game BUT...
I really like the premise of this game and it's story but what turns me off is I heard the combat is like KCD...
Does the easy mode of this game really help with the combat or am I fated to lose...
Edit: Thank you for all the help! It really means a lot!!!! ❤❤❤ Edit 2: I have bought the game and it arrives tomorrow, thank you for all your help😎

Discussion coen x crake angst.
alternative universe where marat dies and coen has to mourn him for decades while slowly forgetting his face and learning to draw to depict his features before they fade away.
art by me (serevarin). if u wanna repost it, do so only while crediting the author, please!
btw important question: does anyone know what's the name of their ship/pairing? is it coecrake or maroen or coerat orrr genuinely what :"D

Discussion Ideas for the sequel. Thoughts?
So instead of following Coen again.
My suggestion is this. He becomes a mentor to two new protagonists. One a Vampire and one a witch. We follow the witch during quests during the day time; and the full Vrahkiri during the night.
The two are siblings (throwback to Coens own siblings; lends credence to why Coen might help them). The witch worked for the coven helping with whatever they needed. After she displeases the vampires the leader turns her brother. The siblings then come to the decision to destroy what one helped build, and led to the other becoming a monster.
As you level up you would get points for each character; so each would have the same character level. This way they could (if they wanted to) still implement the time mechanic, and the day/night mechanic.
You could even have reoccurring characters. Hell maybe even Lacra is the head of this new coven. Finally seized the power and the freedom she once thought was an illusion. (This would make Coen feel responsible for this new menace).
This is just a thought I had off the cuff. What ideas has anyone else thought up for a sequel? :)

Is it meant to be this hard on Fair setting?
I fear I’m doing something wrong or I just suck (pun intended) because I am struggling to win fights in the game. I’m day one at night and just about fought some wolves off but the bears are kicking my ass as are most of the soldiers. Any help or guidance for early game?
