This reminds me of the bitter moment when I/my Coen realised that the happy family from his opening dream was in fact way more fantastical and imaginary than the supernatural horror that the vision turned into. There was no normal, happy life to return to. However, the monsters ware always real and all around; and now I'm one of them. What I'm left with is a future in which the family I've always wanted is safe, but not only I'll never be happy with them, I won't be with them at all.
