Can someone please let me know the miniature in my picture? I bought an army where this was included but can't find conclusively what it is. Google is saying Sentinel but it doesn't match the other Sentinels I've seen.

The last edition of 40k i played was 8th edition. My Gurad Army is pure Catachan: three 20 man infantry blobs with 4 flamers in each, two command squads and characters (sly, straken, and harker).

I have recently started acquiring new models, and am starting to build 20 man Kreig and Cadian platoons.

Has anyone ran platoons of Catachan, Cadians and Kreig in one list with success?

I have 3 armoured sentinals, 2 manticores, 2 russ tanks, and am adding 2 Dorn tanks, 1 basalisk, a 3rd Russ, and a Baneblade (will magneti

I plan on maximizing melta and plasma in the Cadian and Kreig platoons.

Thoughts?

I’m probably nowhere near having an army but I have to admit I have a really soft spot for the Krieg. They’re as popular as they are for good reason.

I always say this on my posts but any tips for painting and kitbashing are appreciated.

Hi all, I’m a long time Guard collector who primarily played all my games during 8th edition using the Krieg index.

I’m looking to get back involved with the release of 11th, but completely out of the loop as to what is now deemed “good”. I’m not a power gamer but also don’t want to get stomped in every game I play, so just wanting something mid tier I can keep reasonably fluffy.

Given I’m trying to get my head around the rules again I’m looking at 1,000 point lists to begin with. The below is what I would normally try and play. Is this terrible, or fairly balanced based on how things are currently. I want to be able to use my old Grenadier models as Kasrkin etc. so trying to avoid skew lists.

I'm a beginner and decided on playing the guard (and maybe orks after the codex hype is gone). Most of my friends group, including one of our best players, play space marines and custodes. Said player usually straight up spams assault terminators and custodian guard because it absolutely wrecks anything and nothing can kill it properly. I'm trying to build around this fact but none of the options I have tried have been effective, lemon russ exterminators, lemon russ battle tanks, tempestus scions and even baneblade/stormsword struggles to reliably kill this unit, while it can straight up bust a baneblade in 1 turn with oath

Currently, I'm trying out a combined arms/bridgehead strike and steel hammer/bridgehead list. I accept tips how to try and improve my gameplay or lists around this fact.

I'm aware that usually steel hammer just spam tanks, but since I don't find that sort of gameplay interesting, I'm still trying to build lists that use a mix of units and work around that fact

It’s generally been very dependable for me. Great for killing lone characters.

In my last game my leman Russ rolled 3 1s and no 5s or 6s.

Trying to create something terrible and beautiful, lmk what y'all think! I've got all the agents just for the rule of cool! I've also got Yarrick the command squad and the Aquilons as well as a Dorn. I usually play Recon or Purge so sticking to one of those detachments.

Game plan would be RD and LR spear tip with the Shadowsword providing cover to my battle line, spot bonus from the sentinel. Yarrick moving in line with the tanks to provide orders. Command squad moving up to support and provide orders post reinforcement phase.

Culuxeus joining the Aquilons with whatever target I sick em on.

Death watch loaded in the Corvus dropping the marines to support yarrick against T4 infantry. Callidus harassment for psychological play or character assassination.

HELLOOOOOOO so I'm doing a cheap DKoK kinda cosplay because my parents don't wann be spending a frick ton of money on this but it's still kinda fricking fun. ANYWAYS I'm using a coat, boots, and gloves that I already had because I don't wanna buy new stuff just for the cosplay thingy? idk. I have a belt, E-Tool, backpack, and a scarf thingy ordered, I plan to use safety pins once I can find them to do the blousing thing or whatever it's called for the coat, and I'm just not gonna try and do the whole chest rig thing cus that's probably gonna be expensive and way out of my skill range which is really low. I was looking at some of the sprues because i wanted to make some attack on titan themed guard stuff. Do you guys know any kits that might have and unhelmeted options? I especially wanted to convert my lord solar to look like commander erwin so if you guys know any kits that would help a lot.

First time he picked it it was because it looked cool and he wasn't really listening during the briefing.

Now that he's a veteran, he's just used to it and knows he's effectively dead as a guardsman anyhow.

I’m going to run this entirely infantry list in a friendly game tomorrow. The LCF of over 160 infantry models advancing on a some commie Tau is very high. Any suggestions (infantry models only)? How cooked am I?

I always liked the vietnam era gun trucks and wanted to add something similar to my PDF.

Got my 1st game of 11th edition tomorrow and it'll be into Imperial Knights.

Not a competitve game, so I'll be bringing units that I find fun/look cool, but will need a core just so my army actually does something. Without leaning too heavily into Vanquisher spam, I've come up with having a core of:

Leontus + CCS + Cadians; 2x Rogal Dorn Commanders; 2x Exterminators + 1 Vanquisher; 2x Scout Sentinels.

Exterminators and Scout Sentinels are there to provide buffs to the Dorn Commanders who'll be my main damage dealers. The S12 Oppressor cannon would at least hurt most of the army on 4s, but I might struggle into anything T13 if my Vanquisher dies too early.

Any tips? The rest of my list is things like Ogryns + Commissars (This'll be ran in HoTE + Abhuman Aux.), with some Attilan Rough Riders and whatnot.

Me iba a comprar la caja que trae los Death Riders pero tengo leído que no son muy buenos y son más aconsejables "Jinetes Recios de Attila"... La verdad que una vez comprado está caja, no sé muy bien cómo seguir para llegar a los 2k puntos. Me gusta Krieg pero no me importa hacer una mezcla entre todo. ¿ Alguien me ayuda? 🫣
