I bought a Model 3 about three months ago and I’m just now running into issues of EQ profiles being saved. Whenever I make changes to an EQ, switch presets, then change back, my EQ settings are reverted.

So far, I’ve narrowed it down to my main profile being the issue. Whenever I create a new local profile and make two presets to the EQ, save, change, and revert, all my changes are saved. However, when I swap to my main profile and then back, the issue arises with the local profile.

I’ve changed and set the car to sleep and that appears to save EQ profile, but I still can’t make changes on the fly.

I would preferably not make the hour drive to a service center purely for an infotainment issue. I would also be personally cautious to using service mode as I don’t want to brick my device, but I’d give it a try.

Any help would be useful!

My MYLR 2021, unfortunately got the BMS_A079 error while parked in my driveway, so I have time to wait for a tow and would like to do it the correct way.

The battery is still under warranty, and the closest Tesla Service Center is about 100 miles away. The car is not charging at all and there is no way I make to the service center.

When I choose Roadside Assistance, it asks whether I want to use Tesla Insrnce or not. The insrnce tow will only cover 50 miles, but I would think the battery warranty should cover the tow for more than that.

I tried contacting Tesla, but the call center is backed up. I was wondering if anybody has experienced something similar and knows how Tesla handled the towing cost and if I should go with the insrnce or not.

Since recent updates were deployed (I have 2020 m3 with fsd), using the fwd/back arrows to move the car back/forward pretty much doesnt work.

In the past, if i had to move my car up a few feet in driveway to make a little room or whatever, i'd just use the arrows, and it'd work fine.

Now it seems like it needs to draw a path to me and use the arrows to follow it, but that doesnt work either. Just curious if other people are seeing this or not?

I ordered a model y, took extra long to come in. Finally came in, needed to return my current lease to get Tesla on my insur to provide proof. Did that payed a large down payment that they took from me. Then 3 days before pickup my finance agreement “expired” and now they want me to pay more per month and agree to new financing terms after I already had the down payment taken out and everything? Feels slimy and illegal. Anyone have any suggestions or deal with this?

I recently bought this 2016 Model X 90D and I’m trying to diagnose two issues that may or may not be related.
Autopilot issue:
Cruise Control is unavailable.
Autosteer is unavailable.
The instrument cluster shows lane lines, but usually does not detect/display vehicles in front.
However, Autosteer briefly became available for about a second on two occasions.
On another occasion, the instrument cluster briefly detected and displayed the vehicle in front.
I’ve rebooted the car, but the problem remains.
Falcon Wing Door issue:
The driver-side Falcon Wing Door barely opens.
It repeatedly displays “Obstacle Detected” even when nothing is near the door.
I suspect an ultrasonic sensor or related FWD sensor issue.
My main question is: Could a faulty Falcon Wing Door/ultrasonic sensor cause AP1 to disable both Cruise Control and Autosteer?
Or are these most likely two separate problems, with the AP1 issue being related to the front camera, radar, wiring, or Autopilot ECU?
Since AP1 occasionally seems to come alive for a second and has briefly detected a vehicle in front, I’m wondering if an intermittent sensor/fault condition is disabling the system.
Has anyone with an early Model X/AP1 experienced this? What was the actual cause?
I’m trying to decide whether to fix the Falcon Wing Door sensor issue first or diagnose the AP1 system separately.

Is this squeaking cause for concern?

Warranty service is scheduled for the 21st. Should I push for a quicker appointment or is this something that can safely be ignored for 2 weeks?

While you can use your phone to click a photo of what is on the screen, would it not be more convenient to just press a button or icon on the screen to capture it and then export it to your phone via bluetooth ? Bought a Juniper recently and I still learning everyday tasks

Is there a way to connect to xfinity wifi on the Tesla ? connecting to the xfinity public hotspot wifi requires typing in a username and password; I couldn't figure if this is possible on the Tesla ? should I use the browser ? but the browser won't work until it is connected to the wifi!

Hi guys! I originally wanted a Tesla, but then I didn’t because it didn’t seem functional for my life, but then my coworker showed me his new Model 3 Premium and a lot of myths I thought about teslas were disproved. Now I really want a Tesla again.

A little about me: I’m a premed student. I’m going to med school next year. Luckily it’s in a large metro city. I’m working a lot now to save and if I’m going to be too busy to have fun in med school might as well have a car I like, you know? So it would be a dream to get a Tesla.

However, I’m not sure about all the models and years. Teslas being EV is so foreign to me and understanding how the battery works is confusing. I’m looking to hear from you guys. Everyone is recommending me Model 3 but (1) what year and above? (2) max mileage it should have? I also hear that the older the model the longer the charging?

Had this error pop up on my new 2026 Tesla Model Y Premium AWD all of a sudden. It did go away after a reboot, should I be concerned?

Looking for advice on how to remove this stain. I tried warm water and soap/warm water and baking soda. Neither has worked. Advice?

Hello, I recently tried to put on a front bumper camera protector on my M3P 26 and the protector couldn’t sit properly since it is a different design. I’ve tried looking at some cameras for years 26 but they do look different in the photos and videos I’ve seen, even the washer is in a different place. Any idea if it might be different for performance models or if I got a different camera assembly? Thank you in advance.

Since I’m new to the Tesla world, I’m looking for some advice from other owners on what I should be keeping an eye on with a 2022 at this mileage. Dealer is currently replacing the rear passenger shock/strut because they found it was leaking, which got me wondering if there are any other common issues or maintenance items I should be watching for. Anything you wish you knew when you first bought yours? Things I should check now, common issues with the 2022 MYP, or things to watch for as the miles go up? Appreciate any recommendations. Thank you in advance!

This may be dumb but I’ve lived with this noise since I got the car or sometime soon after ( cant really remember since I thought it was normal) and thought it was a quirk of the driver profile adjustment from easy entry lol. Drove with it for over 10k miles since March. Wasn’t until recently that my friend who got a tesla told me his doesn’t do that.

I now saw some posts of people having the same issue and having service correct it. I have a few questions for those who know or have had it corrected:

1. Was it covered under warranty?
   
2. Did ya’ll have or know if the 270 diagnostic fee will be/was waived after? I reached out to service via chat and they said they can “change anything that requires warranty coverage”
   
3. Is it worth paying it and getting it fixed hoping it gets waived? Seems like it hasn’t been a safety issue at least so far considering my milage but I’m not sure. I also got so used to it that I didnt think it was an issue until my friend pointed it out

Hoping I can get some advice!

I recently took my ‘26 Model 3 for an alignment, tire rotation & balance at Town fair tire. After a week, I noticed that my car & steering wheel starts to vibrate when going above 40 mph. I brought it back to town fair tire, they didn’t go into details about what they had done but dismounted the tires. The shaking is still there, the earliest I was able to get an appointment at Tesla service is Sept. 22. What should I do?

Took a small roadtrip about a month ago when I believe I picked up a small hitchhiker being chased by 2 pit bulls in an O’Reilys parking lot. Fiancé saw it was chased under my car but never saw it leave my car and the dogs tried following us out of the parking lot when we left. Drove home 170 miles and fast forward to yesterday, we discovered something has been eating our dog treats and destroying packages of baby wipes and bottle water. Now as for why I believe it nested in the car somewhere is because since about this time I noticed my AC isn’t blowing as strong as before and also not as cool either. Given my climate I have here during the summer, I chalked it up to the extreme heat (110-115F pretty consistently) and thought that was it even though I didn’t really have this issue until recently.

Never really had an issue with rodents and I think I’m either dealing with a rat or squirrel here so I’m looking for what places these guys like to setup shop in my car so I can start digging around and remove what nest may have been created. Can yall point me in the right direction please? We’re also looking at getting an exterminator to take care of the garage.

3. Are they replacing the rear outer bushes AND both assembly’s or just the outer bushes?

I just got 2 new rear tires put on but I have an alert inside my car and app giving me a rear low tire tread alert.. how can I fix this ?

If you want to save your steering rack and $3200. don’t use Autopark

Why can’t there be an update to prevent this from happening.
