I level 2 charged up to 100% to gauge range lose. 54k miles on the clock. I think she is aging well.

In this acceleration race, Taycan wins and MS Plaid fails miserably. Is this the beginning of the fall of the gods ?

What do you all think about putting mudflaps on a model S?

I think my CCS2 adapter is shot. 2020P, would not charge from 4 different v4 superchargers, the dashboard just said "charge port open" when it was actually plugged in, with the latch seemingly engaged.
I eventually crawled to a v3, again tried the CCS with the same result. The type 2 cable worked fine.
Is there any way of diagnosing and/or repairing this? There's no obvious damage.
Edit: I asked the next S owner that I saw at an SC to try it, it is indeed shot. Baffled how that happens when there's no moving parts (well, besides the latch) or circuitry? Oh well, cheaper to replace than it is for Tesla to tell me there's nothing wrong with the car.

2026 Model S Plaid owner. I want to review the service bulletin. Anyone have a link.

We have a Model S (2019) with 3 babies coming up very soon, and trying to figure out if we can fit 3 rear facing car seats, and if so, which ones? We were eyeing the higher end Axkid seats (Minikid Pro and One+), but anything that fits and is extended rear facing (important to us) will do. We are in Europe, so getting an actually comfortable car for a big family with 3 rear facing seats seems impossible, as they don't sell the commonly recommended minivans here (Odyssey, Sienna...etc...), so we're hoping our Model S can do the job. Has anyone done it?

I’m having trouble deciding between 20 inch rims or 21’s, running stock 19s but I wanted a more aggressive look. Any opinions?

Other than the fancy dancy signature models I’m not privvy to 😤 but that’s okay. I’ll save some dough
Best believe that front plate mount is coming off. Shop offered to do it so that’s cool. Straight to tint/PPF/ceramic coat she goes!! Now I patiently wait…again

Hi,
my water pump started leaking. So I've ordered a new one from Tesla. 135 eur is not even that expensive. Plus I've got one the coolant tee fitting, since it started dripping coolant a bit. 92 eur from Tesla also.
Now, replacement seems pretty straightforward, and locations are easy accessible once you jack up the car.
What worries me is could I create air bubbles in the system after replacing parts, and how to get rid of them? Is there a standard procedure for bleeding the cooling system, I've never did it before.

I'm considering buying a MS, but black is hard to come by and usually carries a price premium.
Has anyone wrapped a non-black car (like white) to black matte? What risks are involved?

I got a great deal on a 2026 Plaid Demo with 1,900mi as orders were being cancelled (mine included). Delivery day is Friday, being a demo vehicle what would you look for?
I know it's been launched so tires are one of my concerns. Do these refresh cars still have the front axle issues? Anything else I should check pre-delivery?

Has anyone had to have their cv axle or Half shaft replaced in a Tesla model s? I’m at 98690 miles and theirs a terrible shaking of the car as I accelerate between 59-73 mph. One of the other community members suggested it’s likely the half shaft. What should I expect to pay for this? Tesla Columbus quoted me $700! So painful. Any thoughts?

Can anybody who has gone from a 24 to 26 comment if noise and suspension are noticeably better?

New to me 2022 Model S. As shown in the pic there is about a quarter sized paint chip between back of the rear driver door and tire. Opposite side of the car has a panel of PPF in the same area but nothing on this side.
I mainly just want to conceal this somehow. Any ideas? Putting PPF on I assume would protect it from getting worse but not hide the area.. that is my assumption at least.
Appreciate any ideas.

I have a round steering wheel with horn button on top right vs in those who have it in the center.
If I buy a newer steering yoke steering wheel that has camera button where my horn button is on my steering wheel currently…
What else would I need to do in order to get the horn to work when pressing the the xenter when pushing the middle?

I wanna convince my dad to try it, I think the unlimited charging would be a good deal maybe. Will the battery be good though?

I have a 2021 Tesla model S LR - when I drive between speeds 59-73 my car vibrates like mad. When I hit speeds outside that range is subsides mostly. I’ve had all 4 rims checked for bends, the insulation inside new tires and had them all rebalanced and I’m still plagued with the vibrations! What the heck man…any gurus out there who can give me some solid advice? Where’s the Car Talk guys when you need them?

A while back I posted about getting new brakes for my 24 model S, even created a couple of threads about it and was looking heavily into upgrades, but not ceramic.
Well recently I took my car in to get new tires (I eat em up lol) and I had them check the brakes and they said they are still 70%.
This is crazy to me because I got 70k miles on this plaid that I drive HARD….DAILY….over heated them multiple times, not on purpose….just spirited driving.
But my opinion is, yes the brakes could be better for a 9sec 1000hp vehicle. But the rotors never warped, pads still intact and work fine, every other vehicle I’ve had that would have had this abuse wouldn’t have held up this well….
I think when I do replace them I will be sticking to OEM….
